My son was having some asthma troubles this past week. I called the sauna studio and they were able to get us in the same day. I didn't get the front desk gal who helped me out but she was lovely! Very professional. And I love that you are the only one in the salt spa during your visit. One thing that I didn't care for, but you might not mind, it was really hot on there because they have several sauna rooms and it heats up the place. Even with the front and back doors open. Other than that, I will definitely visit again. And possibly purchase one of their packages for the salt room or sauna studios. read more

This place is an oasis in Ventura! My favorite spa experience of all time! I go here after my workouts to unwind. Services I use here: cryotherapy, salt room therapy, and infrared sauna. The first time I came here, I tried cryotherapy with Alfredo. Such a great guy! He's very knowledge about cryotherapy, and he will make your experience wonderful! You can book your appointment online or send him a text. When you are there, you will be provided a robe, gloves, socks, and slippers for the chamber. It may look or sound scary at first but Alfredo will keep you at ease and talk to you during the quick process. Yes, it is cold but I expected it to be colder so it's not so bad! The only things you wear in the chamber are gloves, socks and slippers. Salt room- good place for a detox! Most times, I get the room to myself so it makes it more relaxing. They play music and I usually get a great nap. Infrared Sauna- This is my favorite service there! You get a private room (unless you request to bring someone). There is music in the sauna, and they have a cold towel with eucalyptus essential oil for when you are done (such a good touch)! Be sure to drink lots of water after. Not only do I come back for the amazing services, I return because I always feel welcome by the staff. It's such a sweet community. All the staff members treat me well and give wonderful customer service. I cannot wait to come back after quarantine! I miss it so much. Plenty of free parking behind the building. read more

I brought my sister in law along with me and we both felt so airy and light after our rest & relaxing time spent here. First we hit up the red light sauna to let some toxins release, followed by the wonderful salt cave! This duo of services helped my breathing feel better than when I entered. Amazing experience to alleviate pain. Alfredo, was nice, helpful and professional. I explained, i was feeling extreme shoulder pain and muscle pain. I had a Groupon and was treated very well. I was provided a private room to undress and provided a robe, shoes, gloves and socks. I walked over to the Cryro room, where Alfredo explained the process. I stepped in and unrob. The Cryro machine elevated up, and the therapy began. Alfredo talked me through and experience no anxiety. I felt a little frost, but it felt good. So glad, i participated. I suppose to burn an extra 1000 calories throughout the day. read more

On a whim I decided to try this place out. IM IN LOVE! My only complaint is that I wish I personally had more time in my schedule to get in here like everyday! The girls are so sweet and keep this place clean! I love the mix of essential oils they put on the chilled moist towel for when you are done. Each sauna is a little different but equally awesome. I had a little trouble changing the light color I really enjoy a solid red light when I'm in there I've found it been great for my poor circulation. Anyways I finally asked about it and you just have to aim the little remote directly at the light and if that doesn't work get closer to it! Duh I kept trying to do it through the glass door before I got in. I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. My tone is much more even my acne is less and skin feels so clean and soft. I feel energized and another plus it is a great way to loose a little weight. I really feel like I am taking care of my self when I go here which for my is something I need to do more of. This was my second time ever receiving a professional massage. As soon as I walked in I was greeted nicely from EVERYONE and the vibe really set the mood. The sauna room was great! I was alone in my own sauna and had the choice of what color infrared lighting I wanted. My massage was the best I have ever had! She was very attentive to the areas I needed help with. I walked out feeling as light as a feather with all of the everyday stress of life just wiped clean! The Sauna Studio is a beautiful hidden gem in Ventura. I am a yoga instructor at the studio and feel that the space is truly one of a kind. The yoga room provides semi-private instruction, with classes ranging from 2- 10 people, helping students focus on proper alignment and a safe practice. The yoga room has non-obtrusive light, it is dark and lit only with candlelight and himalayan salt lamps. I've also found that the infrared heat provided in the room is very healing. Classes provided range from restorative to variations of hatha and vinyasa flow. Outside of the yoga room, the infrared sauna therapy sessions are an incredible treat with amazing healing benefits. I noticed that my skin became clearer after only one session. I also noticed that the infrared sauna therapy had a overall benefit to my entire nervous system. This is a hidden gem in Ventura! Although it appears unprepossessing on the outside, behind the door is a whole beautifully appointed spa experience. My best friend treated me to a spa day. We had an invigorating cryotherapy session with Alfredo, a terrific facial with Courtney, and a fabulous massage with Cassie. We also sampled the salt room; neither of us had experienced this before and it was a very relaxing, detoxifying experience. We ended our day with an infrared sauna session. I love this place! I have enjoyed the infrared sauna spa for a couple of years and love what it has done for my skin. The saunas are immaculate and I always look forward to my eucalyptus scented cold washcloth after my session. I have also been enjoying the salt room. I have a lung disease as well as chronic sinusitis and I always leave feeling more open and less congested. The salt room is 40 minutes of pure relaxation in a beautiful and serene setting. I have also enjoy the whole body chemotherapy. Alfredo is amazing and I am seeing positive results on my inflammation and nerve sensitivity. The staff at the Sauna Studio is wonderful. The owner, Julie, is compassionate and caring and is very helpful. From the salt room, cryo, (facial and full body), and the sauna... it is all a must try!
