I found this face because it was hosting musical bingo night. Apparently it's a new event the pub is running and it's free and runs on a Wednesday night, starting at 7pm, about every fortnight. However please check with the pub as they may push it by a week out. The next one is on the 25th May 2016 at 7pm.
The place is quite clean and has pretty trendy light fixtures on the walls and ceilings. Light bulbs with jars, looks pretty funky. It was quiet on a Wednesday night, and a few customers dining in. It got a bit busier as people were coming in after 630pm to play musical bingo and ordering their meals.
The bar tender was efficient and friendly and was able to use my entertainment voucher. The prices here for pub meals ranges from $18 to $30, and you may need to order sides as the meals, depending on what you have ordered.
What we ordered:
Pan fried atlantic salmon with panzanella salad topped with olive tapenade, interesting dish, the salmon was tasty, the salad was fresh but I don't think the olive tapenade went well with the fish.
Sides: Butter fried potatoes garnished with parsley, standard fried cut potatoes, slightly buttered, Overall thumbs up
Sides: Sauté greens and root vegetables that were pan fried in garlic butter and white wine. Lots of greens, perfect dish. Thumbs.
Musical bingo: We had a DJ/Host who was friendly and a great communicator. He welcome us before the start of the game and handed us bingo cards and pens. He explained how to play the game and that there were prizes to be won such as a $50 meal voucher or a bottle of wine.
Overall, I'll come back to play musical bingo as it's a pretty simple game to play and you get to listen to great hits while eating and socialising with friends. It's a good break between the week so thumbs up! read more
