Been here quite a few times. The decor is bland but food has always been good but mixed drinks could be stronger for the price. Never had a problem with the service but they do need a hostess. We were eating and saw 3 couples leave because there was only one server, who was in the kitchen making our dinner salad, and no one to seat these people so they left. I ordered a burger, it was very overcooked, tasteless, and the side wasn't what it was supposed to be, but some sort of deep fried potatoes that were overcooked and brown, tasted like they were fried in goat fat. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Waitresses were bringing the wrong orders to the wrong tables all night. Food was a big let down, we've eaten here a few times before, but it seems to have gone down hill since then. Waitress was wonderful, but the food not so much. My wife had the cod, it came undercooked and mushy, the waitress took it back and had them make a new batch, wasn't much better, still soggy and greasy, I had the Rueben sandwich, not a whole lot of flavor and also greasy. Was hoping this place would make it, being its local and the owner has 2 other restaurants that are very good, but this place needs a new cook or someone to tech them how to cook read more

Wow. I haven't been here since it was the sportsman's den. The food was delicious. I had their burger with bacon and egg with Onion rings. Phenomenal. They have some sauce that is made for the onion rings that I ate on everything. I will be back. Music was great. Service was on the ball and very friendly. read more

Yesterday was the first time I had been here. I was told the place was recently renovated. Couldn't tell. Looked very dated. Took forever to get seated (even when the place only had about 10 tables taken). Waited a while for the server. Food came pretty fast and it was really good. Unfortunately, the service didn't do the chef any favors. We waited about 15 minutes after we asked for our bill and then another 25 minutes for her to bring our change. We waited so long, we put a tip on the table and had to find and approach her to get our change(which took another 5 minutes). After she handed the receipt book with our change in it. We left. She chased after us to the parking lot yelling sarcastically thanking us and to have a good day. She figured we did not leave her a tip and was going to let us know about it. Make sure you look at the table before you want to make a point. Will never go back there again. read more

I've been three times. My food has been good each time. Great French fries and onion rings. Excellent walleye hoagie. Only complaint, they were out of staple items 2 of the 3 times and we had select alternate choices. They were out of lemonade which was a component of every cocktail our group wanted to order. All different cocktails, too. Everyone asked for a different option but me. I asked for lemon juice and simple syrup substitute. Another time we wanted turkey Ruben sandwiches and they were out of turkey. Hopefully the ordering of supplies improves. read more

This restaurant feels like they're catering to senior citizens and up. Everything from the lack of decor to music and menu feels old and boring. The menu is scattered from hibachi to seafood to pizza like they'd rather have a little of everything done poorly than mastered 1 thing and be great at it. Stopped in with a group for a meeting. The Pizza is extremely good, so much so that I'll probably order Pizza from this place. I didn't try anything else. This place is a huge improvement from the old sportsmen's den. They sunk a great deal of money to resurrect this place. read more
