    I was looking for a second TV forth bedroom when I came across Kogan and even though I had my mind…read moreset on a well known brand I decided to give 'the Aussie brand a go' after checking for specs and price. I bought a 32 inch LED TV with PVR and DVD blind (Kogan has no showroom or anywhere where you can see the product before you buy) and it was promptly delivered to me. When I received the TV it came with a damaged stand. I took a picture of the stand and sent it to Kogan who promptly sent me a new stand. I bought the TV in May but last month the picture just died. All I got was awhile flickering screen of which I took a video and sent it off to the Kogan support team. I was asked to try some simple diagnostics which did not work. I was then asked to put the TV back in it's original packing (which by now was recycled) and then have it ready for a courier to pick up. Since I did have any packing and was happy to drive unto 50 ams to hand over the TV I was asked to leave the TV to Kogan's Sydney repairer in Tempe. I dropped the TV off . It's now been 12 days since I handed the TV over and I am still waiting for it to be fixed. Moreover I have had to chase up what's happening instead of Kogan coming back to me. Kogan a good product at a great rate but with a lot to be desired in terms of service.

Pre-sales process on the phone was very high pressure sales, with lots of calls, and deals that are time limited etc. Whilst normally this is a warning sign they did seem to have processes in place and therefore i expected a professional company. Post paying my deposit i didn't hear from them for over a month. I repeatedly called and emailed them and always got told someone would call me back. No one did. When i finally got through to the people that handle the NSW part of the business i was told it was due to lack of stock (was it that hard to tell me that up front!). Finally got an install date, only to have them cancel that due to issue with the installer. Another 2 weeks later (over 2 months from paying my deposit) they came out on site. Installer was nice, professional, however after looking at my lights indicated there would be an additional charge of $400 (on only a $700 install). LEDified called me to explain it was due to the wiring in the ceiling needing replacing due to it not having the earth wire. I have no issue with that - however it only took the guy 2 minutes to see this. And would have been something i could have checked myself 2 months ago and would have known upfront. I didn't go ahead with the install and now need to battle to get deposit back. The installer said this problem was relatively common, so i'm surprised LEDIfied don't clearly call it out at sign up time. I think the high pressure sales, and then post sales support are polar opposites. Having spoken to some others on whirlpool forums this is a common issue with LEDified. I'd say approach with caution. If everything is smooth it may work out, but any problem and they are difficult. Edit/Update: Received a call from LEDified, and we talked through my issues. They agreed they hadn't provided a good customer experience, and gave a full refund. Most notable was they took on board my comments, and have said they will look into their internal processes - i appreciate that in a company.

I had had a price match approved by your online team (I am a business customer and they were matching an existing business discount) and Patrick picked up my call mid way through a conversation with a VERY FRIENDLY sales assistant and decided that he wouldn't be honouring what had already been approved by the JB Business team AND the JB online team and although he could see three different invoices that had been issued with the discount, decided he was the messiah of JB HiFi and the overall decision maker for the whole company and he would not be honouring the deal. For a store manager, Patrick had absolutely no customer service skills, was combative, rude, continually spoke over me and cut me off and would not listen to what I was trying to explain even though it was shown on the three invoices he was able to look at. As a result of this I will be taking my business for this purchase and ALL other future purchases for myself and my business elsewhere, even if I have to pay full frieght on the products to ensure that I am treated fairly and with respect.

I decided it was too big to pick up, so asked about delivery and installation. He explained all the options clearly and sent me a link to purchase it, talking me through the steps. They should pay him double - he was so courteous and helpful, and made it all so easy, and my new TV will be coming on Monday. I'll definitely use this store for future tech or appliance purchases.

There seems to be a trend with JB Hi-Fi because I experienced the same thing with their CDs when my case were completely scratched up. Service: The employees were kind and helpful, but it's also a bit confusing because they don't have a set uniform. This one guy came up to me and said hello and I thought he was hitting on me (or maybe I just have an overblown ego) and so I awkwardly said hi. He then went over to man the cash register. This guy was in a sweatshirt and jeans. I guess I was supposed to tell he was an employee from the nametag dangling out of his pocket? Overall, the store has okay prices, but honestly they aren't amazing low to the point where you can give up the quality of the product as well. --- Also, JB Hi-Fi has several branches, all in a row but selling different things (with some overlap). Why can't you just combine it into one super-store, especially when they're all next to each other?
