I was looking for a second TV forth bedroom when I came across Kogan and even though I had my mind set on a well known brand I decided to give 'the Aussie brand a go' after checking for specs and price. I bought a 32 inch LED TV with PVR and DVD blind (Kogan has no showroom or anywhere where you can see the product before you buy) and it was promptly delivered to me. When I received the TV it came with a damaged stand. I took a picture of the stand and sent it to Kogan who promptly sent me a new stand. I bought the TV in May but last month the picture just died. All I got was awhile flickering screen of which I took a video and sent it off to the Kogan support team. I was asked to try some simple diagnostics which did not work. I was then asked to put the TV back in it's original packing (which by now was recycled) and then have it ready for a courier to pick up. Since I did have any packing and was happy to drive unto 50 ams to hand over the TV I was asked to leave the TV to Kogan's Sydney repairer in Tempe. I dropped the TV off . It's now been 12 days since I handed the TV over and I am still waiting for it to be fixed. Moreover I have had to chase up what's happening instead of Kogan coming back to me. Kogan a good product at a great rate but with a lot to be desired in terms of service. read more

I bought an "excellent - refurbished" iPhone 15 pro and immediately discovered that there is a mic issue as my voice on "hands free calls" are reportedly soft, fading in and out. So I submitted a "Customer Care" request ticket and after 15 days still no reply. I ended up calling Apple Tech Support and they resolved my problem - needed an Apple IOS upgrade to latest IOS 26.2 Buyers Beware - you cannot call and speak to SOMEONE at Kogan. Kogan First is a scam, and Kogan customer support is the worst I've ever experienced. I placed an order for a chest of drawers (Order Number: 2NTLFMMV). After waiting 17 days with no delivery, I contacted the courier and was told the item had been returned to Kogan -- without any prior attempt to contact me. Not only did I not receive the item, but I was also charged $129 for a Kogan First membership that I never knowingly signed up for. I submitted a support ticket, and after weeks of back-and-forth emails, I received only a partial refund. Kogan refused to issue a full refund. Exactly what service did you actually provide that justifies keeping my money, Kogan? I will be taking this matter to Consumer Affairs. In my opinion, Kogan First is misleading at best and unethical at worst. To any consumer reading this: use a virtual card to avoid these kinds of scams and stay away from this company. I bought a new bed as Imam 78yo and need back support. As they say Shudda gone to Hammonds. Shudda gone to Sleepmakers. Bed turned up in cardboard box with a book and some screws. Bix weighed 34 kg needed two to lift. Now havea $200 pile of kindling wood and no new bed. If I could assemble it could not lift it any way it takes two. Photo looks great.. I ordered a fan for Summer and after paying $200 and getting my order confirmation, I noticed the estimated dispatch date was 10 weeks after I ordered it! Of course I wanted to cancel the order and in 'manage my order' it appears as if you can cancel the order however when you click on that option an 'oops something we t wrong' pops up every single time. Cancelling is not an option but they pretend it is. I then emailed customer service but they do not reply. There is no number to contact them and they charged my credit card instantly even though dispatch is 10 weeks away. I am doubtful I will ever see the fan. Do not buy anything from Kogan. 30 Sept 2024 Horrible customer service, was delivered with faulty dryer that wont turn on after only 1 month of use, crappy cheap product. Contacted support, they initially responded which sounded positive, but when i reply that i want a credit or replacement as offered, i never heard back despite few follow-ups. Purchased x5 monitors for christmas presents 2024. Received monitors in an acceptable time frame from date of purchase. Had a faulty screen of which Kogan replaced in good time. Since had consistent problems with these particular monitors with black flickering which was tested using 3 different and very capable computers. Contacted Kogan to advise of the fault and testing process used and requested a refund. This was all done with the 14 days refund period. No response provided by Kogan whatsoever some 5 days later. Bought a small lower priced item.delivered as promised. However we ended up signed up for one month free First programme, apparently said 'we gad possibly signed up at the check out. Do not remember ticking any boxes, possibly an already ticked box that you had to untick. To day a fee of $129. showed up on my bank statement saying it was an annual recurring fee at the same time an email arrived from Kogan advising us of the charge. After much difficulty I had to set up an account to get in to cancel the membership. I still don't know if it has/will be cancelled as no notification from the site to confirm my actions. Their retirns policy is a joke, or worse still a crafted strategy to draw out the timeline until they can say that the return window has closed. The "fountain pump" they supplied is a cheap piece of Chinese junk and they won't take it back. Do not trust Kogan. They are thieves and are fraudulent. This evening on the 3rd of January, 2024, I made a small purchase with Kogan. I purchased it from their website as a non member. Kogan then created WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR REQUEST an automated two week "trial membership" which I did not request but was given the option to cancel it within two weeks. I cancelled my 'trial membership" immediately, after having a terrible time trying to find out where I could actually cancel it. They make it very difficult. As soon as I cancelled my "membership" today, a $99 deduction has appeared on my Credit Card statement. This is fraudulent! 1/ My two week "trial membership" was cancelled immediately after they created one without a request from me. 2/ I paid the full $$ amount of as a non-member. 3/ I will be contacting my bank about this unauthorised deduction of funds from my debit card with my bank. Being the evening, it is frustrating that I cannot contact my bank until tomorrow. I am quite distraught that I had been scammed by these people. Terrible service. Don't buy anything from it! I ordered a clothes dryer which was dumped at the entrance door of my block of units. I had to unwrap and dispose of the packaging and moved the dryer upstairs myself. Luckily it was not too heavy for me to move it myself. I tried to contact the customer service to complain about it. It is blindingly obvious Kogan deliberately does not leave any contact number for me to call & even the website was designed in such a way that I always went around in circles without the ability to lodge my complaint in writing to it. I have never heard of a company that does not have a phone number for help. I have bought 2 products, tablet and laptop and both have problems I can't fix. One the tablet was supposed to be able to be increased from 8GB to 32GB. Well it won't even accept 16GB. Second the laptop will not accept my password and I know the password is correct. I can't send it back as I am 76 years and have no family and have medical problems. Also they want a video of the problem. Not going to happen. Then of course you run the risk of the terms and conditions, If Kogan deem I have done something to the item they will charge you. I am a pensioner and don't leave my house and wanted these items for some other form of entertainment apart from the TV. Do not use Kogan if you want any support, as their support is basically non-existent. You cannot contact them by a phone. I purchase a 300G mobile prepaid plan, and they forgot to send me the SIM and many support tickets later they manage to send me one. I ported my number to them, and then discover the SIM is faulty and doesn't work. So as usual they tell me to go and buy one myself. The problem is their SIM are only sold in United Petrol Stations, and they are out of stock! Many attempt to contact their support and they just ignore you, won't even just send me a new SIM. So I have to go into their website and order a new one. I am still without a mobile service and the plan already started. Over the years I have purchased many items from them worth 1000's, thinking if there's a problem there will be AU support. All I can say is expect NONE if you have any problems with their products. Now its 7 January 2023 my Tv haven't arrived yet. And I emailed kogan their excuses is out of hand because it's already pass to the toll courier company which I call toll courier they promise will be redeliver to my new address I give them because I work till 6:30pm 3 January 2023 to redeliver plus I leave an email to deliver to my neighbours now it's already 7 January 2023 when I follow up to toll they said it's been scan to deliver. My wife purchased Case for her iPad. When she received the product, it was not for her model. There was not indication which model it was so she presume that it was for her model. Contacted Kogan who said they don't give refunds as it was mention somewhere else but not on the Invoice they sent us. They said they will refund less a third because re-packaging. She would also have to pay for re-delivery which cost $12.88. After 2 weeks I checked if refund was placed into the account and it was not. I contacted Kogan and told me they did not received it and to supply proof of postage. I did and even after another 2 weeks I did not get refund. Now after 8 weeks, I went to the Post office to track the product and they told me because Kogan supply an E Post label it is their responsibility to track it and that I should not have paid for postage. OMG I am so frustrated. I purchased a $579 microwave from Kogan only to be told it was a Marketplace and the actual seller was Super Deals. I realised 15 minutes after purchasing it that it would not fit in the slot in my kitchen so pressed the cancel button. Apparently, you can cancel within an hour of purchasing. The button did not work and after submitting a number of times it said to try back later because this function was not working at that time. After that the button disappeared. I have made so many complaints to Kogan and they keep emailing me telling me they are contacting the seller but it has been 5 days now and no contact from the seller, only a text saying it has been dispatched. I purchased a smartphone from one of their Marketplace sellers with payment made to Kogan on 9 Feb 23. My change of mind due to the model NOT having NFC capability was accepted. I returned the phone on 17 Feb & was offered only 80% refund. Despite 10 email exchanges with Kogan, they still have my money AND my phone & have virtually stopped communicating.
