They didn't take any of my clothes, guess it's not what's "in", which is okay. I go around here from time to time to spot some nice deals on clothes from Aritzia / Lulu. I noticed quite a lot of poorly used clothes on the rack and even with holes and rips. You really have to ensure the clothes are in good enough condition to your liking before purchasing. They do offer refund anyway just in case within 7 days, clearance items are final though so make the right decision. I have purchased a few great deals from here. I think it's a nice place to get second hand or even brand new items when you get lucky. So many lightly used but you just have to be patient and go through stuff, eventually you'll find nice ones. Quick tip on white clothes - check collar area and underarms to ensure no discolouration. Darker colour clothes - I don't know about you but I dislike deodorant / lotion marks when I pick it up from the rack. Just a random thought! I will continue coming here once in a while just to snatch some good deals especially when they have promos!

They have absolutely earned a perfect five-star rating from me. The selection and value are simply unmatched. I've found so many high-quality items--from brand-new clothing with tags still attached to vintage housewares and hard-to-find books--all at unbelievable prices. The quality of the merchandise is excellent, and the daily deals and color tag sales make it even better. Beyond the deals, the store is surprisingly well-organized. Unlike some other thrift shops, the aisles are always clean, and the clothing racks are sorted efficiently by size and color. This makes the "treasure hunt" exciting without being overwhelming. The inventory changes constantly, so there is always something new and exciting to find! The staff, from the folks stocking the shelves to the cashiers, are always friendly and efficient, even during busy periods. They handle the high volume of customers quickly and kindly. If you are looking for a fantastic deal, a unique find, or just love sustainable shopping, you must visit Value Village. Highly recommended for the ultimate thrift shopping adventure!

Dropped off a few donations at this location before and there's always a staff coming out to help…read moreand provide you with a coupon. Their coupon is usually 20% off of a purchase of $50 so I don't find much use for it. They have a good selection of home and clothing, but the store tends to be in a bit of disarray. I hate that you still can't use the change rooms because you can only do exchanges here and within 14 days. So I'll usually wear leggings and a tank top with a sweater if I know I'm going to want to check out the clothing. That way, I can kinda just try it on in the store. It's super uncomfortable though because there's just a bunch of people staring at you sometimes. The clothes are wicked packed into the racks too and I've found plenty of pieces with holes/ tears. Those should be sent for fabric recycling, not sold to people for the same amount as a piece that isn't wrecked. The pricing has gone up at Value Village. It's no longer easy to find a good thrifted item. There's times where I've found items that cost MORE here than at regular... Sometimes, the original price tag is actually still attached, and I'm not just referring to dollarama items. It's just become a really dishonest place. Still, it's thrifting, so you do need to put time into it if you want to hopefully find a treasure. Staff here are hit and miss. Some of them are nice and helpful, and some are just really rude. I can't blame the miserable ones though. People need to stop throwing unwanted items all over the store. It contributes to the messy store and it's really disrespectful to the staff that have to clean it up. The floor also seems eternally dusty. There's so many dust bunnies, if I do find a good piece of clothing, I'm immediately terrified of letting it touch the floor. The number of times I've swiped the floor on accident and picked up what looks like months of dust was horrifying. All in all.... it's what you expect at Value Village.

The parking lot was quite busy and a bit chaotic when I went. The donation area is on the south side and just to the right of the entrance. When dropping off items, the staff will ask if you want a 20% off coupon. The store is large with two main sections. Housewares, furniture, electronics, books, vinyl records, and CDs at the front. Then there is children's, men's, and women's clothing. Even further into the store, there is more women's clothing. Prices are very reasonable, and the items are generally in good condition. At the Kennedy store, the electronic section has power bars to test if the electronic items work. I didn't see it at this location. Glass display cases near the front have designer brand items like purses and high-heeled shoes.

The layout is easy to navigate, with clearly marked sections for clothing, housewares, books, and electronics. Inventory changes frequently, so it's worth checking back often. Ms. Zeta were courteous and helpful, though service can vary depending who is attending you at the store. Prices are generally fair, especially for clothing and small household items, though some customers might find certain items a bit overpriced compared to other thrift stores. I appreciated Zeta when I asked for a discount and she gave me a coupon that had a 20% discount for first time buyer. I was happy and appreciated her for this and it made my decision so much easier. Overall, Zeta should be recognized for her great customer service and for managing the sale appropriately making my decision to buy the two items easier with the discount. Robert N. Tip: Mall entrance 6 will get you to this Winners…read more It dawned on me after posting a handful of photos yesterday that I have never reviewed this Winners store. I have been here countless times over the past couple of decades. Yes, I will say that this store is at least twenty years old. I can't tell you why I've never posted a bunch of photos or reviewed this Winners. Better now than never! This Winners is on the second floor of CF Markville Mall. It's next door to Auric King, which used to be where the Pickle Barrel was for years. It's kind of weird to not see this eatery next door to Winners. Years ago, I would go shopping at Winners with a friend. Afterwards, we'd have dinner at the Pickle Barrel. It was always an enjoyable outing. The Winners remains huge and spacious. Why? Many moons ago, it was the second floor of Walmart. I was early for my eye appointment, so I spent some time at Winners before I headed over there. I spent most of my time in the beauty products section. Sadly, Winners doesn't seem to carry the gel nail strips that I like anymore. However, it did have the cutest plush croissant keychain. I looked at nail polish, lip gloss, eye shadow, and more. The beauty section was extensive and fun to browse. I headed briefly over to the winter coats section. There was lots of variety. i didn't need one, but it was nice to browse. The store was busy at around 4:30 pm. Many high school students were in this store, which made me smile. It was nice to see that there are still teens who like to hang out at a mall like I used to. I should stop by more often. This store is by mall entrance 6. It's where I like to park my car at the mall. There's lots of parking and there's a marked pedestrian crossing that I like. (464)
