He helped me all the way with the info I needed as to delivery. As I was about to exit the store, he suddenly suggested that if I had an appropriate car he and his helpers would put the furniture in for me. I have worked with many different charitable groups and the Future Possibilities program is one of the most organized and the most rewarding. The individuals running the program are wonderful, positive, and caring people. They love what they do and it shows. Kids that attend schools in under-serviced areas are elected into the program by teachers. Usually the kids are shy and need some extra encouragement that they may or may not be receiving elsewhere. From October to April, you work with your kid through a curriculum over the phone and attend activity days held every few months. The curriculum is to help guide your kid through a goal/project. You are a mentor (like you would have at work), but you are still connecting with a child... you are a kid coach. This program benefits the kids but also the coaches. You learn how to actively listen. A lot of the lessons learned can be applied to everyday working life. It's a great program, but it's not for everyone. You are responsible for a kid and you must be available to talk to them each week for 30 minutes for 6 months. I'm really glad I had an opportunity to participate in the program. I encourage anyone who thinks that they would be a great coach to sign-up!

This location has a large upper gym area, a pool, and courts for different sports. They also have classes throughout the day! I guess that's still true but I was surprised at how much the monotone grey-scale of the entire place made it feel cold in here. I guess I'll continue with a couple more critiques. One is that I don't understand why they don't simply keep towel racks in the plus change-rooms as they do at every other Y I've ever been to. It's part of what you're paying for, and though you can get them at the front desk, it just seemed odd that they just won't keep them stocked in the change-room for convenience. The change-room itself was quite small and has virtually no seats which was a bit odd too. Apart from those minor things, the workout area is well stocked and they even have a couple unique things in what is sort of a mini studio in the middle of the workout area. One thing I really appreciate this place as a runner is that their track is longer than most of the other ones as it circles the gymnasium as well. It's nice having longer straightaways so you don't feel like you're turning most of the time. If you're strictly into using weights, they do have what you need here though you can probably find other places to go to for cheaper. However, Y's (including this one) are great for having additional amenities, which includes a full-sized pool, gymnasium, running track, programming for kids and other things. There's also often more a community feel at them and often a chance to make connections too.

This club is exceptional to none as everyone is friendly, polite , generous and very respectful and kind. Honestly, as the saying goes " To believe it, You have to See it and i mean with your very own eyes .
