Restaurant in a casino always worries me that it's a place where people that lost most of their…read moremoney will eat at so the quality will be compromised. This place exceeds all my expectations... It's pretty loud in here at times. The place would be considered lively. New York Steak is killer good. 12oz steak with a vegetable medley and Mash Potatoes and gravy. The steak is very high grade (what what what?!) and the entire meal is $23.... Compare this to a combo at Wendy's for $16 lol. Steak here tends to overcook a level so ask for the level below. Juicy, great texture, excellent flavor, and grill lines! Sampler Has everything needed to satisfy all appetites! Wings are on the larger size, crispy, juicy in the inside, and well seasoned. Guacamole is fresh made and they fry their own chips which is unique. I always switch out the Jalapeño sticks with sweet potato fries or more mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks come with an excellent marinara sauce. The bread bowl is a full miss for me. There is probably three tablespoons of soup in it and the entire bread is about the size of a large muffin at Costco and so overpriced that Disneyland's is a much better value. The casino basically has 4 concept restaurant with their own kitchens but you can basically order from any of them and robots will drive them over to you or a server will go pick it up and bring it to you and put it on one tab. The current ones are Pho (Vietnamese), Sora (Sushi/sashimi/hand rolls), Luyixian (China/Taiwan inspired Chinese food), and here American grill. I ordered Sora's Nigiri set for $45 on one of visits and while the sushi was incredibly fresh it is really not worth it. Not enough sushi and too much filler like edamame. French fries here sometimes gets subbed with normal fries but they generally always have sweet potato fries, and some of best seasoned fries all around. Their fries as on is cheaper than Mcdonald's small fries. When you come in just find a table and sit down and someone will come to you with menus and such. Service here is incredibly good. Shout outs to Sarah, Iris, Victoria, Miguel, and Christian. You all make our visits like a mini vacation and we have such a great time. Never thought eating at a casino would be so much fun. There is so much other food to try. Will be back to try it all soon! Trust me this place is that good!

I can't say it's the awesome bartenders... the land it's built on or something more magical, but there is a literal 'vibe of humanity' here which I've experienced in VERY few places on this planet. Doesn't hurt that the food is awesome too :) It is infectious - it is good - and it restored my faith in humans more than once when I really needed it. Thank you; Amanda, Candace, Cody, Robin and others.

There wasn't a single customer who didn't love her. It didn't take long for me to realize that a lot of people are regulars there and it's not just for the bike riding! lol Loved her honestly and insightful responses to my many questions. The pretzel was HUGE and the kids pizza fed two kids with leftovers! No complaints here.. well maybe just one but I was given a quick fix when I expressed my disappointment when they didn't serve blended drinks. Not to worry the coffee shop does and it's only a few steps away! This place was cute with tables or bar seating available. The bicycle theme was cute but personally I liked the barrel seating the best. There was a tv for sports on the back wall. As long as there's no one else watching, putting in a request for certain sports to be played seemed to be no issue. There's several small tables inside and extra long picnic benches outside. Seating was your choice and there was a window to watch tv but still remain outside. Cute little bar, that I'll definitely be making my way back to for a visit!

Plus it's alway nice to pop in to see friends and of course a meet up spot. This past weekend, the weather was perfect in Santa Monica. It was quite nice to have a table along the patio and perfect for people watching. We were meeting up a friend for a catch up and a meal to end the day with. The staffs are alway so friendly and welcoming each and every time we're here. If you haven't been, it's broken down to a few different areas but all connected. There's the British shop on one comer. If you continue on, you have the restaurant which has two different bars. On the left, that's more of a mellow smaller bar but does get fun. The main bar is on the other end of the building. That's where you get the full bar experience with darts and where all the games are shown. It does get quite busy whenever there's a game on so be advised. There's also an outdoor seating area as well. Then you have the main dining area right when you walk in. There's two main seating area which are both nice. One seems more like the dining room while the other is more of a casual dining area. Regardless, the food will always be the same. As it was Sunday, the roast is alway a good choice. Nothing elaborate but your classic roast. There was beef or lamb available with roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding served with your mixed veggies of cheesy carrots, peas, broccoli and cauliflower with gravy. Vegetarian options also available. Of course you cannot come here and not get fries (chips). Thick cut of goodness. Besides that, there's loads of traditional dishes available. I've had loads and they're all very good. Even if you just pop in for a pint, the place is quite fun. Bar area is fun and pretty lively. The place is quite casual which is nice for a stroll in. Can't leave out afternoon tea which is also offered. A fun time is alway had here each visit. Everyone is so friendly and sweet.

They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ar night it can get a tad loud, it is a pub, but it s not bad at all just grab a table and you will be fine. The menu is great. We love their burger sliders and they have a breakfast waffle that is so great. You can get a full order or half of their great fish and chips. They are a great white fish and the chips are perfect. Their British curry is so good. It has a choice of basmati rice, Fries or Mashed Potato. Get the mashed or the rice. They are both so great. We love anything they make in a puff pastry. Our favorite is the steak and guinness mushroom pie. It is steak prepared in a Guinness & mushroom gravy topped with the wonderful flakey puffed pastry, and a side. Have fun.

There was a friendly play working the bar she was half affable and charming. Partway into the shift a 30s something male came to join as the bartender. He was far more interested in the arsenal game than he was of taking care of clients. It was clearly lots to do and yet he just sat and watched the game, simple things like giving me my check as soon as I was done with my food were ignored so that he could watch arsenal. Never before in my 20 years of coming to this bar, have I ever noticed server or employee of lucky Baldwin's paying more attention to the TVs then to the guests this was very offputting and this guy should not be there if this is how he usually operates very bad experience. I hate so much to give this review because the fish and chips were absolutely ridiculously outstanding as normal I will be happy to remove this review if management will give me a call and explain to me why this happened and what I should expect going forward

Small parking lot that may park about 5 cars and watch the street signs for parking. Pool table & full service bar. Mostly bar seating with a banquette along one wall. What made this bar cool is Sandra, la Reina de Moctezuma as she refers to herself. Breezy, lively, nonchalante, a bit coquettish to the "right guy", socially charming to her other guests. She creates her own story line to create her aura & drama. Author John Rechy, if he were straight, would have featured Miz Sandra in one of his novels like the City of Night. Ordered a pint of Guinness & Harp combination, but I didn't call it a "black & tan" in an Irish pub for historical reasons. But Sandra told me they don't have Harp, and suggested I do a Snake Bite instead which is half Guinness & Hard Cider. I opted for just Guinness since I wasn't in an experimental mood. Later, she was kind enough to let me sample a shot of the Strong Bow Hard Cider which was smooth, sweet, acidic with actual sour apple flavour. Next time I'll have to order the Snake Bite. Don't know how exactly Irish Sly Fox is with its grunge-garage rock music. But it's a good, unpretentious, local hang out. And of course, there's Sandra, la Reina de Moctezuma who is worth the visit. 4- stars
