It was a lot of fun, not very challenging but of course, our group made it competitive. After putting, we did the go-karts, which was also a lot of fun! Some of the guys' karts were slow, which was probably a good thing. They also have an arcade area, which was nice and cool since it was quite warm and muggy outside during the time we were there. The bathrooms were clean. We didn't try any of their food while there, but they had ice cream! Overall a good place to hang with a large group, good for families with kids, or adults that want to have fun like kids :D

I wish the guy much success and really admire his lack of greed and wanting fun to be affordable to all, but I still think he can increase the prices a bit and it still be affordable, and maybe the increase can help to invest towards the upkeep of the machines. I took photos of the ones that brought back strong memories of playing with my cousin at the bowling alley or the 7-Eleven, at the camp grounds and at the hotels, and even at the casinos when our parents were hitting the slots. $20 unlimited gaming is a steal for what you get here. I have no complaints. There are bathrooms in the back as well as a coat rack. There is plenty of space to feel comfortable taking your time. While there is no food, there are drinks available and they allow in and out privileges with your wristband. My wish would be that they find 720, the skateboarding game... Paperboy, and Crazy Taxi, and add them to the lineup. Also a few more shooters from the 90s, as those were quarter guzzlers that we could never finish with real money. A Wonderful Experience I threw a surprise party for my…read morepartner for his 60th birthday here at Aftershock. They were super laid back and flexible on how i wanted everything to happen, it was glorious! The room rate was REALLY reasonable and they have games for everyone....we had ages 2 to 72 at the party and there were games for all. We had it catered by a local sandwich shop and they allowed the caterer in early to set up. They DO make pizzas, but for a larger group, i would think it would be difficult, so we went with sandwiches and it was perfect. I had an open tab at the bar with a limit and Steve (our super bartender) kept me up to date on where we were, in case i wanted to close out OR keep it open for longer. That was wonderful. We could just enjoy and not worry that i would turn around and be over by hundreds of dollars. Thanks Steve! All in all, it was such a fun experience for all and it was a really easy party to plan/execute thanks to the really relaxed and open nature of the Aftershock folks. So this theater has been in Beloit for a long time and was recently purchased to become the…read moreSchaubert theater from the Wildwood group. To start with, the theater is in DIRE need of renovation. The screens are huge, but the seats are dilapidated and the floors are concrete. The overall look makes it seem like a dollar theater in a shady neighborhood. Even the sign outside is missing lights. As far as the movies, most of the time the theaters are empty, even on nights when it's only $5 for any show (Wednesday). The sound and picture quality is adequate, if you can get over the uncomfortable seats. The other unfortunate thing is that the latest movies are at 7pm. Makes it really difficult to do dinner and movie when the last show is at 7pm. The other issue the popcorn. Despite the fact that it's only $5 for a large with free refills, it's always burned. If you are willing to go back and forth, all the sizes of popcorn and drinks all have free refills which is nice. Overall, I think the town of Beloit deserves a better theater. It sucks to have to drive to Rockford to watch a movie, especially if you want to go to a show at night.
