These seats look like they've survived three world wars, a soda spill epidemic, and maybe a small house fire. The stains have stains. I'm pretty sure one of them winked at me. I don't know what chemicals could handle whatever this is, but y'all might need holy water at this point. Movie was great though. I just hope I don't leave here with a rash named after the theater. Would I return? Sure... but only if I bring my own seat cover, a hazmat suit, and emotional support hand sanitizer.

These included a…read morecharity evening fundraiser for JPAC Kids, 9 to 5, and the Janesville Honors Orchestra and Band concert. The fundraiser was well done, with the spacious side room with all of the art. The bar is so cute and small but they are able to get people in and out in a flash, and I feel the space would be lacking without it. 9 to 5 was such an amazing show, and I feel that JPAC did an excellent job with getting people in and out in an orderly fashion, the cast was perfectly lined up post show, where photos weren't interrupting other people. The Honors concert was a different story. JPAC can't do a ton about to, but there was SUCH a bottleneck post-show. It took us 20 minutes to get from the doorway in the back of the theatre to the stairs to leave. I should've looked, but I am hopeful that the emergency exits are off the sides and alleviate this. Otherwise, there has to be a way to create a double-wide doorway there even with trying to keep people out before the doors open for an event.

We attended there because a friend invited my kids to join them,…read moreFirst, it would have been nice to know that you DO NOT need to purchase bounce house tickets for kids not wanting to bounce. They only have something like 3 bounce houses. $36 for 2 kids, and one not to jump was pricey. It is $18 per person (4 and older) on the weekends, cheaper if you go on a weekday. The Arcade... So, apparently, a good deal, 100 tokens for $20. So, we split the tokens 50/50. I was shocked when my child was frustrated because a ticket based arcade did not work, and we realized it required 4 tokens! The number of machines that required 4 tokens seemed to be in the majority. Most places we have been to, the higher token machines were typically the race car driving machines, where machines that give tickets typically range in the 1-2 token family group. Now, I saw that someone mentioned that the arcade accepted 1-4 tokens, I did not find (on 4/25/2025 any that accepted only 1 token. Not saying that they were not there... I just did not find them. I did find a few that accepted 2 tokens or 3 tokens though. They do have some sort of bowling game that required 8 tokens in the back corner. While we were there yesterday, on a Saturday afternoon, it was really quite empty, we did not see anyone working the concession area at all. Thankfully, we brought water bottles. While there I did see a frustrated parent who paid $14 (children 3 and under rate), because the bounce houses were geared toward that age group. Overall - over priced.

I admit I'm a bit of a snob when it coems to arcades. Not the best I've been to, but very solid. Glad this place is in the community.

I drove around a few times before I could get a spot. It's interesting how the neighborhood puts up parking signs during this time to make some bucks. Set up little drink and food stands selling home made goods cheap compared to what's in the fair. I think it makes it unique and hope it continues to add that different vibe to the whole affair. There are all kinds of booths selling all kinds of stuff. Home made soap. Real Estate. Antique farm equipment going back to 1800s. Red Cross. And so much more. Our first stop is the animals. The prize animals here are cows, horses, pigs, chickens, pigeons, rabbits, sheep, goats, etc. And, the kewl thing is you get to pet them, talk to the owners, see the awards and trophies they won. Very exciting and educational. You can spend a good 2 hours doing that. We walked around, checked out everything else that was there. Bought some things. Got ice cream, fresh made, in a big waffle cone. Cotton candy for Gabriel. Waffles for Mog P. The rides brought me back to my days riding E.K. Fernandez and I couldn't wait to get on. Did I say I'm terrified of heights? Yeah, I am. But, that still won't stop me riding. I just gotta start on the Merry Go Round and work my way up. By the time I was on the feris wheel, I was okay with my eyes closed. I can't remember the price of admission but felt it wasn't too bad. So, if you do have the chance to go to a 4-H Fair, please do. It's worth the time to take the family to discover.

The prices are amazing, but I really think the guy should increase the prices to at least .25 cents to .50 cents a game. My husband and I were baffled how a profit is made, especially after paying the rent, electricity, other utilities & costs, especially with how expensive everything is now days. I mean some of the games didn't work or stopped working after a while of playing them several times (but then again, the same happens at other expensive arcades, too), but I still didn't mind that much or even bugged the guy to fix them or get a refund since the price is SOOO low there. I'm not used to those prices, even in my childhood in the 80's and 90's, which were .25-.50 even then. I wish the guy much success and really admire his lack of greed and wanting fun to be affordable to all, but I still think he can increase the prices a bit and it still be affordable, and maybe the increase can help to invest towards the upkeep of the machines. Either way, cool place and cool guy!
