They have out door couches to lounge on. Chairs and tables to sit and eat. You can easily sit and relax away a good couple of hours here. My friends and I got here after we had left our luggage at our rental. And sat here what it seems like a week. We sat down and had a bite to eat. The fish and chips. They are amazing. We found this beer called Summer. And it was $25 Aussie for a bucket. Not bad. We hung out for about an hour. Then we decided to hit the water. So we decided to ask where we could get sunblock. And they brought over Carla. She was our savior. The sun is very hot here. We hit the water and came back after a little sun cooking. We stepped up our buckets. We stayed there until we left. Day 2 we did a lot of the same. We kept a ritual of just stopping by and having a bite and beers. The weekend is off the hook. Very busy. All day and all night. But they close at 12. Everyone and anyone is there. People celebrating the weekend to people out for bachelorette parties. Also birthday parties to small wedding reception. On Monday Feb. 12,2018 we were there just enjoying a bite and a couple beers. We weren't going to stay long. It wasn't too busy. Which was nice after the weekend. Then all of a sudden. All these well nicely dressed people started to show up. We new it was some type of party. But not for who or what. Girls/ Ladies dressed to impress. And impressed we were. Guys somewhat dresss nice also. Some better than others. And all of a sudden 3 guys in these bright loud jump suits. We were like huh? Then they decided to get on the microphone. Just being. Loud. It was my turn to get a pitcher of the passion fruit mojito. Which is really good. Don't judge. But when in Aussie. Drink like the Aussies. I asked one of the guys in the suits. What's up with suits. He said. Trying to get attention. They were going to have a fundraiser for Brain Cancer Awareness. I told him. He was doing a great thing. Not knowing that lot of the people there were celebrities. It's not like we watch Aussie tv everyday. Ok we did while on vacation. But still. How are we to spot tv actors and movie star actors. Then they sent out their ladies to sell raffle tickets. It was Bianca Zouppas. And another great looking actress. Sorry didn't get her name. But if you know who she is. Go ahead and let us know. Anyways. How could we say no to them. We weren't going to. It's a good cause. But they did get us to buy more tickets. We also got into the fun of the auction. I ended up winning a bat. For only $300. And after mingling with everyone. It was a great night. This place gave up their inside area for an event that raised some good money. This place has a staff that is not only great looking. But have the best attitude I've been to in years. Probably the best in all the world. Guys and girls. Both treated us with great respect and were always professionals. Staff was fun and always helpful. If you ever visit Bondi Beach. Stop by and try their Mojitos and their food. And the people watching is very good also. So Mates don't wait. Or you might have to stand in line in the sun.

We were presented with a menu of their selection for the season and ordered through the bar where each order was given a buzzer. Pick-up of said order would be at the kitchen, not far from the host stand. Every dish looked scrumptious! I ordered ricotta gnocchi to share and absolutely loved it. There were roasted vegetables that was an absolute perfection and the gnocchi filled with ricotta cheese checked all the boxes for me! That was delectable! "It's the best bar in Bondi!" they claimed, "It's a proper bar." We weren't enjoying ourselves at Ravesis so I gave in and followed them down to the end of Glenayr Avenue where the fun runs out - the end that there's no point going to unless there's sports on at the Beach Road Hotel. Outside this dull grey newly-built building there were groups of people sat and talking, and inside there were tunes pumping, cold beer and eclectic furniture crowded with beautiful people. I realised I would have to raise my game and wiped the sooky grimace off my face and we ordered a few beers at the bar. The beers were cold and we gathered some mis-matched chairs into a corner and ended up lost in conversation, only momentarily distracted when super-hot six-foot blondes walked up to the bar. And this is the good thing about Bad Mama, it's not the super-hot six-foot blondes, or the great food. It's the fact that you forget you're there - you're enveloped by the bar, not left perched in the middle of some massive empty bar which is so typical of the Bondi bar scene. On the face of it you know that this is a brand new constructed space, but when you're inside you're sucked in by the interior design and the lighting such that you forget and you could be in a bar in Hoxton Square or Hackney. Five stars - I'll be back!

Having…read morestrong associations between Bondi and douche-bageries such as Ravesis, this tiny little establishment helped instill some good in my damaged perspective. I stopped into Speakeasy around 5:30 on a Thursday afternoon and found the place empty. With velvet covered couches, dark wooden desks, and oldtime decor including a vase of peacock feathers and a rotary phone, I was filled with instant ease. That and the ocean breeze blew in and out so freely you'd think you were on Campbell Parade (minus the crowds). I ordered a glass of their first listed Pinot Noir, Six Foot Six. The menu described the wine as "light and a little fruity." I won't beg to differ. It was drinkable to the point of slurpable and went down effortlessly for a red on a warm afternoon. I ordered a dish of mixed olives to accompany which was a good choice. As the late afternoon grew later, the place filled up a bit, but the energy stayed easy and carefree. The waitress might have played a part in this as well. She breezed around with great comfort, occasionally sitting with the guests and making informed wine recommendations. Speakeasy is definitely my kind of place. And I'm so glad it's in Bondi Beach because I needed my narrow-minded perspective to be expanded. And I can now speak easy, because expanded it has been.

When I asked what are they she again replied not sure. Like come on you have 6 beers in tap and you don't know what they are..... this is a tourist area you should beable to at least handle something that easy. What made it worse is she shook my beer constantly as she poured it so while it was cold and decent it was flatter than tap water. Got their burger with the "famous fries" the fries were good crispy and fresh but nothing to write home about certainly not famous. The burger was pretty terrible. Over cooked frozen unseasoned ground beef slathered in a cup of cheap BBQ sauce and another cup of mayo to the point the burger was sliding part from the plethora of lube between it's parts. The bacon was nearly raw to the point I wasn't sure if it was safe to eat. Wife had the macadamia crusted fish sandwich which was "decent enough" but the fries which were ordinary were the "best part" This place was empty, soulless, without personality and it was painfully clear it was surviving on location alone. I'm sure during the summer it's hopping but getting an eye roll when asking for water at 2PM on a Friday durring the off season just is not it. Lots of staff standing around on their phones. Which makes sense because it was pretty empty. Which makes it all the worse that a manager and some vendor or customer were standing 10 feet from us arguing about something. Would not recommend for anything beyond a quick drink near the beach but for the future a beer should not be shaken, stirred, vibrated and or swirled, certainly not all of the above.

Parida has has a cool and casual atmosphere with comfortable indoor and outside seating options. The decor is stylish with Moroccan tiles and bifold windows, apt for the trendy Bondi Beach location. The new menu has fabulous takes on our brunch favourites, with some of the typical classics, healthy options and some exciting creations that will entice you. We were excited by this since we like cool brunch dishes that differ from the norm. Very importantly, the coffee is pretty good, they use Gabriel beans for coffee which we do like. There are also some fresh made juices available, great for that spring health kick. The 'Bondi juice' is made of pineapple, apple carrot, lemon and ginger was a tasty refreshing blend. Parida also have a range of smoothies, teas, and if you are up for it wine and boozy drinks too. Can't beat a weekend mimosa! The menu has good variety to suit all. Our pick of the meals was the "Baby Parida", that was thankfully not so baby. This dish had us excited with a cheese and chorizo croquette showcasing a crisp panko like outer shell, gooey cheese inner with bits of chorizo thrown in the mix. It had a potato rosti, perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and toast, oh baby! Perfect for sharing! The classics were also solid, the avo and feta smash which is a good version of this dish. It has a decent amount of avo and feta, served on a large slice of sourdough with heirloom tomatoes. Opting for the poached egg is a good idea and they were perfectly poached. The granola and yogurt, served with berries and passionfruit, a good choice if you are looking for a lighter meal. Bondi beach and Campbell Parade can at times be a little hit and miss with all the tourist haunts. However, if you are looking at a good cafe to hit, pop into Parida. It is the perfect choice before or after the coast walk, a surf or just enjoying the serenity. A top weekend brunch spot, but any day suits as they're open 7 days a week. All day breakfast is their specialty with fresh and simple ingredients and reasonably priced too. We enjoyed our visit and will undoubtedly be back.

I asked about the drinks and he said, "It's Happy Hour on margaritas. They are $10 instead of $21." I said, "Great, can I order please?" He replied, "I will send someone to take your order." About a minute later a waitress came and we ordered a round of margaritas. Later on, we ordered another round. When we asked to pay the bill at the end, we were surprised to see our bill was more than double what we expected. I asked, "Why are all the margaritas charged at $21?" She replied, "The coconut and pineapple margaritas are not included on Happy Hour, only classic margaritas." We then explained the conversation we had with the barman upon entry and pointed out the barman who told us all the margaritas were $10. The response we received was, "Well, he doesn't know." The point we were politely making is that the barman is their staff member, he told us about the offer, and that is why we bought the drinks. "He doesn't know" is not a valid excuse when it is your own staff member providing pricing information to customers. Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are responsible for representations made by their staff. This situation involves breaches of Australian Consumer Law, including Section 18 (misleading or deceptive conduct), Section 29(1)(i) (false or misleading representations about price), and Section 48 (failure to clearly disclose pricing and exclusions). The waitress's lack of customer service skills at this point was quite clear and she may have been new to the industry. I paid under protest, as the charge had already been processed before the receipt was provided. The receipt later confirmed that the incorrect amount had been charged. I said at the time that I would write to the manager to sort it out, as we expected that the manager of a venue would have the experience, professionalism, and basic understanding of Australian Consumer Law to resolve a clear staff error. An email was sent to INFO@donpedros.com.au , but no response has been received. I also requested that the manager review the venue's surveillance footage to listen to the original conversation, which would help with staff training and prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, the manager/owner has still not sorted out the issue. If a guest is treated this way after a clear staff error, it says a lot about how a venue operates.
