Went with a big group of 15. Making the reservation was simple. The day of I was told there was a buyout so was disappointed to miss the live music but plans changed and the music was great. A really good brunch spot kind off the beaten path for Nashville. We got to come here this past weekend and I was very happy with everything we got. I ordered a mimosa to start and at the recommendation of our server, the Row poppers, so delicious. I ordered their Cowboy Bennie which was an eggs Benedict with their homemade bbq sauce on top, wow! My husband got their French toast with a side of sausage and eggs. The French toast was fluffy and delicious but he did the say the sausage was meh. All in all, I would recommend this as a spot to check out if you're in the area. Their menu is massive so you can find something for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Got the Nashville hot chicken and it didn't disappoint but also didn't wow me. It was spicy in the way where it felt like there was an overload of spice on top to the point of it being a little bitter. The fries were PERFECT though. I don't remember the last time I got fries that look perfectly cut and fried without being soggy or too burnt. Lastly, our server Parker was great! Visiting Nashville with my son, daughter-in-law and grandson, we were hoping for a local treasure slightly off the beaten path. What we found was a warm, welcoming server who greeted us as we were seated. What we didn't find was great Nashville hot chicken. Our medium was more like mild and hot more like medium. The hottest sauce had some genuine heat. The breast was deep fried, sauced and served with a layer of grease floating on top of the breast. The fries were limp. Clearly not straight from the fryer. They had live music on weekends starting at 2pm. The food was okay, and not as good as other places we went to in Nashville. My friend and I shared the veggie plate, which was okay. This place was a great find, it's a little hole in the wall which are most of the time the best places. Parker was our server tonight and he's was fantastic and very respectful and helpful to our table. The food was fantastic my shrimp and grits were made to perfection and do the south proud. We also had the meatloaf, spoon fries, fried okra, and bacon queso to the table and everything tasted so good, the okra was the best okra I've ever had. My only complaints are 2 things which one was my fault and that is I chose to ask to eat inside vs on the outside seating where they had a live singer which I missed so I would've loved to listen to that but my bad. The only thing I would complain on this place was the old fashion wasn't very good, it was all alcohol which I'm sure most young adults and tourists in 20's don't care but I like a well balanced cocktail. My order was good. It's been a minute since I've had catfish like this and it met my expectations. The Mac and cheese also was delish. What was lacking was the service. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar and immediately was given a glass of water. However, after a long while, I had to get up ask someone to take my order. They apologized.
