I contacted Steve Snyder with a recommendation from the local locksmith to get some repair work…read moredone on a door. I left a message on his voicemail and Steve responded the same day in the evening time. I was not able to call him back until the next morning. We connected, he reviewed the repair to get done with crew member Rico and advised me of the repairs that they believed they could do. As I called a few places to explain my situation, many of them wanted to replace the full hanging door instead of do a repair on the existing. The door was still a good door for sure. After some discussion, Steve and Rico would leave the door in place and actually fix the damaged area (door jamb, the door stop, the shattered section of 2x4, drywall). They took measurements of the area They came back the next morning and finished the repair work within 2-4 hours. This included the repair of the door frame and studs, removal of the drywall, new drywall piece, taping and and texture. They even added an extra security piece for the deadbolt receiver that Steve has used in other door installs to deter kicking in the front door. I appreciated the knowledge and "option" to install that. No pressure to install -- just an option. After finishing the repair I also talked to them about installing Steel Security Doors for an added level of security. They made it back the next day and installed 2 Security Doors within 1-2 hours start to finish. Rico and Eddie -- super job. One thing to note that made it nice -- you could see the great teaming between Steve and his crew. It was not just a owner and employee -- but 2 people actually having a great time working together like family. I will bring them back for sure when more repairs or work is done in the house.

In summary, the floor work, electrical, plumbing, fridge water line, lighting, demolition, backsplash install, appliance installs, texturing, and painting were done professionally with care. They treated our home with care and communicated scheduling very clearly. We had previously hired his team for 3 bathroom remodels and do not regret asking them to help with our kitchen. A team with integrity, honestly, and professionalism is often hard to find in the industry . He and his team demonstrated this throughout the project.

Estuardo is efficient and professional, and I would happily hire him again. Very impressed with Steve and 680 Home Repairs…read more Interviewed a number of contractors and Steve and 680 stood out Head and shoulders above the rest, both in terms of quality, price and integrity. I've already signed up to use the services of 680 home repair for kitchen , bathrooms, etc. One of the main things I like about this company is there's not a long chain of command and you are dealing with the same person, likely the owner, who is good with communication , whereas with other companies you're often dealing with a different person every day, not always sure what's going on.

We've recently concluded the transformation of our failing Pergola top to an A-frame roof that now…read morecan be used come rain or shine. In my wildest imagination did I expect it to turn out so well. The work was performed by 680 Home Repair. Unlike many of the contractors who either failed to follow up or responded with a price and no details, Steve (owner) made sure we had the information needed and where cost saving could be made. As this was a design change to an existing structure, he and his foreman listened to our thoughts and answered our questions. This same thoughtfulness carried through the entire job. Like a good Project manager, Steve visited often to check on his crew's progress and answer any of our questions. Some of the small finishing touches demonstrated they took pride in their work. Like any construction site, you can expect some level of debris. That wasn't the case. Their materials were neatly stacked and covered. The area around the pergola was vacuumed cleaned and tools organized for the next day. We were so happy with their work on the pergola that we contracted them to take on an adjacent side yard landscaping project. They handled grading, pavers, borders, lumber, stone, and crushed granite, and like the pergola, everything was done right on schedule. The most important take away from this experience is we had some hiccups along the way. No matter what it was, Steve and his foreman were always there to solve the problem or satisfy the question or concern.

Unfortunately the project turned out to be more difficult than expected, due to issues with our toilet. Andrew returned to the site to manage the situation and give us an updated quote.
