You know, in our angry, cynical, stressed out world, it's awfully nice to witness a small display of humanity. Thanks, big guy. Once inside we snagged a table near the bar. I asked the bartender for a virgin strawberry margarita for my wife. But alas, the margaritas are premixed and they'd all lost their virginity. The bartender offered to make a substitute concoction for my wife. She asked me to report back and if my wife didn't like the drink, she'd comp us. Again, real decency. And good mixology, too. The drink was great. The show was fantastic, the acoustics outstanding, and the overall vibe at ARC is cool but unpretentious. It's a kick-ass independent music venue. It had a nice flavor for a non-alcoholic beer and was not flat tasting. A great choice for anyone who will be driving especially designated drivers.
