Recently found a small stain on my freshly painted ceiling. Naturally, these things just don't go away so I called around, read a few dozen reviews and called these guys first. Very friendly admin on phone, she made me feel comfortable as this is "what they do in the off season", roof repairs. Well, "Rick" came right out, climbed up into my crawl space attic (not an easy feat) took a few pix, assessed the situation and identified the problem immediately. He not only advised me what the issue was but made a short term fix (For Free) that he said would last several months or more if I decided not to go with the long term solution at this time. He left and I got the quote same day. I was very grateful for the short term fix and I decided to go with the long-term solution anyway. I left it up to them when they wanted to come back and do it and they said they'd give me a call. A couple of days go by and Rick stopped by with another person during a snowstorm. He said no big deal that's what we do. Two hours later I have the correction in place w/pictures that will last me another 50 years and I couldn't be happier. I had a part of my roof blow off during a high wind storm and though it was a relatively small patch I was concerned on the water damage it could cause. I also had a part of my patio roof that was made of wood thst had broken off. The Roofing Guys came in and fixed both within a few days and the work is seamless. They even recommended putting vinyl on my back patio roof so it wouldn't need much maintenance. When you look at the roofs you can't even tell anything happened. It's like it's brand new. Truly outstanding experience start to finish which is a breath of fresh air these days. read more

Just want to add that we were paying CASH and Bob was told that and knew that ......we received the contract just a week ago and my husband called a couple of times to touch base NO ANSWER....so dont say you were eating the taxes you guys are the ones that quoted this and it clearly says the price for cash in the bold print SEE BELOW.....and no one ever came out to reassess Bob was only at my house once....... again you guys are the professionals with all your years experience the price shouldn't change 3 times....and yes took my business elsewhere! Very poor and fraud customer service. My contract was for 9 feet winter guard Ice and water shield but they did only 6 feet. And when I bring to attention, they said they can't do anything about it. It's too late and $325.00 was credited for materials only. Also small roof back side of kitchen they messed up big time. I request them multiple times, but after almost 3 months they still did not resolve the issue and each time I call them to schedule to fix that mass, they always says we will call you back and never call back. Now not answering my calls. Also they destroy my front garden plants and said they will replace it in one week but still after almost 3 months they did not replaced. I'm very disappointed with customer services provided by Roofing Guys. I will never hire them again or recommend them to anyone. read more

Most unprofessional business I have ever came across. After installing the roof, and calling for 5 months after to get a few minor repairs, both managers argued why they cant make an appointment and they have to just show up for repairs. What business comes to people's homes unannounced and argue with the customer why they cant make an appointment. The managers just gave me every excuse how they're so busy and understaffed typical bullshit. DONT HIRE! The one manager was even mimicking me on the phone and turning the blame on me for being "difficult" because I don't want them showing up to my home unannounced. WORST ROOFING COMPANY. read more

An owner who was offensive and extremely defensive. When all he had to be was sympathetic and reassuring during an anguishing predicament he was responsible for. Instead he shook me up. My house was due for a new roof. Though I NEVER had a leak. Just being proactive. $11,000 bid beat 2 other reputable offers. So, I went for it. The job was done in September. All seemed fine and to the naked eye, looked good. During a March thaw, a 2nd floor bedroom/roof ceiling started leaking like a sieve. We didn't catch it until things got flowing onto the main floor. After a few frantic calls and emails to the roofing guys, I got a return call from the owner. He assured me he'd be sending over a crew the next day to check things out. The next morning I got an email telling me his staff weren't returning for the season until the following Monday and I'd have to wait. I begged him for immediate service. Ceilings collapsing, wood floors soaking and buckets everywhere. He got angry and short with me saying that for all he knew it was squirrels or pipes causing this. NOT SO. I knew i was in trouble. I called a proven contractor. They checked things out and told me where the screw up in installation was. We put a huge tarp over the problem area. I didn't have the stomach to deal with the indifference and intimidation of this owner/company. I called their insurance company. The adjuster acknowledged the faulty installation and paid on behalf of the insured for interior repairs only. The money was no where near enough to get things back to where it was. Mold, staining warping etc...they wouldn't pay to repair the roof either. Just the damaged caused by the bad roof? So, I ended up calling the company to back up their warranty. Their head foreman came over. He explained that the whole job wasn't done how he would have done it? A crew came out and fixed a part of the roof that was flatter than their satellite pictures depicted? A miserable experience. A painful experience.. BEWARE!!!! I've got pictures, videos, emails, invoices, insurance correspondence, etc... Reach out if you like. Every month when I pay an installment on a home equity loan for the work of The Roofing Guys I am reminded........... After reading the owners responses to other's complaints, I'm expecting to read some excuses or accusations. All I'd really like to hear is a simple apology. read more

We used The Roofing Guys for our roof replacement last year. We couldn't have been more pleased. They arrived on time, installation went great, the yard was cleaner when they left than before they came! They provided certificates of being Certified Installers and Insurance certificates. We had, and are still having, an awful experience. My husband hired the roofing guys to install a roof six years ago. We are now trying to sell our house and were informed that our roof would not pass inspection due to premature aging. We received a second opinion and were told that not only was it aging prematurely but that it was an improper install. My father who is a general contractor took a look when he visited from out west and confirmed that it was a terrible install and the material was aging prematurely. We were told we had a 20 year warranty. The roofing guys came over twice to say that it was prematurely aging and that they would be in contact. When they contacted us they said they were in touch with the manufacturer who would be replacing the materials and paying for labor for the new installation. After a year of trying to get ahold of someone and showing up to their office with locked doors and no answer during regular business hours, we called the manufacturer. The manufacturer said they had never even heard of our complaints and had never heard from the roofing guys, that they never said they would pay for anything and that the roofing guys were not certified installers of their product. The manufactures told us we would have to hire a certified installer who would send in a sample of our roof to guarantee it was their product and then repair that patch which is $500 at our expense. Then the manufacturer will only cover a prorated amount of the material, about $3000, because we did not use a certified installer. We didn't chose the material, we just hired the roofing guys and they showed up with that material. It cost us $13,000 for the roof to begin with and now we need an entire new roof with a void warranty. The roofing guys have avoided our phone calls / ignored our repeated calls, lied directly to us and put us in a very difficult financial situation just as we are about to sell our home. When we received a call back during my husbands work hours they left a message saying we have been in line to receive a new roof for six months but that they didn't know when they would be able to do it, that we are on a waiting list. We then found out that they have over $300,000.00 in OSHA fines for not using proper safety equipment for their men during installation. I'm not sure how accurate that figure is since I am going off word of mouth from a friend in the business. They pay for tons of advertising and have many schemes like gift certificate giveaways etc... to entice new business, but buyer beware because they are an awful company in every possible way. Further, our real estate agent told us she has customers who have had horrible experiences with them and has customers who have avoided them because of word of mouth. Please be careful and take your business elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately I tried to get an estimate from the roofing guys, but they never showed up for our appointment. I spoke with a gentleman named Ken who said they could def. come out on Saturday, possibly even Friday. I never heard from him again. Changed our plans so that we could be around and have that meeting! Completely inconsiderate of our time. If you cannot be bothered to show up for a sales meeting, I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable with doing an entire roof with them. read more
