James worked with us and our insurance company and fought for us for 11 months to finally get insurance to pay for the new roof that was required. Throughout the long process we were kept informed of the progress and issues that were found with our insurance appraiser. They never gave up and were successful. We're finally have our new roof and our extremely satisfied with the workmanship as well as the employees that came and spent all day installing our new roof. He utilizes a dedicated crew, and they worked very efficiently to complete the job. Their cleanup was very thorough and after completion, you couldn't tell that they were even here. One of the most important aspects of the experience is Kevin, who is easy to work with, is personable, and communicates thoroughly, and Better, the job foreman. Of note, they used GAF shingles (the top rated shingle), and one of our quotes priced the estimate more than double of what we paid Roof Right Now using the same shingle. Another estimate was using a lower grade shingle. Found 1st choice roofing and hired to fix sections of my roof less than a year ago (June 2024). In…read moreaddition to the repair cost, they charged $700 for it being a 3 story home and another $600 for the pitch angle. At the time when the repair was being done, the speed at which they were working was a little concerning. This was due to the fact that I was sold on replacing all vents on the roof as well but witness the technicians leave without doing so. They came back soon after me contacting the project manager that I only only saw them go up with a bundle of shingles before and proceeded to complete the vent replacements. Once they completed the repairs, I contacted the project manager again and asked for drone footage of the repairs so I could compare them to the initial inspection photos. He then got offensive stating that his technicians were risking their lives in order to repair my roof and kept saying they stand by their workmanship and provide a 1 year warranty. I started to suspect the project manager did not fully explain to the technicians on what to repair and only repaired the obvious damage and not the improperly installed shingles the project manager sold me on to repair. Fast forward to today (April 2025), sections of my roof have shingles blowing off again which are photographed in the initial inspection last year. I contacted 1st choice to start a warranty claim and was soon told they can warranty shingles they replaced but the ones that were missed a few feet away is considered new damage and had to be treated at such. I told them ok, please get me an estimate on the repair and we can proceed with the warrantied areas. After receiving the estimate, they again charged the 3 story fee and pitch angle fee even though they will be going up to repair the warrantied areas anyways because it is "to be treated as new damage" while also stating on the estimate that they no longer can warranty any repairs because of the build material. I would not have found out my roof was damaged if I didn't switch insurance company and they send an inspector out to look at my roof. Missed agreed upon repairs and damaged repairs they are hesitant to fix. If they are currently working on your home, make sure you have footage of the completed agreed repairs after. If you're considering, make sure you have everything documented to cover yourself cause they are for sure covering themselves.

I explained that I never received a text, and Jeff admitted he had sent it to the wrong number. Despite acknowledging his mistake, he said the earliest he could reschedule me was a week later. While it was frustrating, I agreed to reschedule. When his team came to provide a quote, they quoted me $375. I mentioned I had a $50 off coupon from their website, so I expected the total to be $325. Jeff informed me that all discounts were already included in the $375 price. I asked why they advertise a $50 off coupon if they don't honor it, and his explanation was that the coupon was for same-day cleanings only. His crew had already mentioned that 99% of their jobs are same-day cleanings, so I questioned why they advertise a coupon that would apply to almost no one. Instead of addressing my concern, Jeff responded in a condescending manner and continuously blamed me for misunderstanding. My issue is simple: they don't honor what they advertise and treat customers poorly when legitimate concerns are raised. If you can't provide a real discount, remove the coupon from your website, and treat customers with respect. I would not recommend this business.

However, the contractor Stephen has been non-responsive and kept telling me he had another guy working on it. I understand they are overloaded, but I never even had a chance to get on the schedule. I guess our repair job wasn't big enough for them. Very poor customer service since the initial consultation and I have now moved on. I wouldn't recommend based on their lack of communication and willingness to help. ***UPDATE The owner reached out to me, apologized and was willing to make it right. I had another company already on-call when they reached out initially. Bottom line is that they did what they could to solve the issue and that doesn't always happen. I'd give them another chance had I not already had someone on top of the job.

I was assured all was up to spec. they also sliced one of my guttters during install. I am selling my house and the inspector noted 6-7 items that were done wrong on the roof and need to be corrected. I contacted Anderson Restoration and have made ~6 calls to them and still can't get them to give me an answer on their warranty (they evidently did not file the warranty registration with GAF as they were required too). It has been 2 weeks and I am now forced to use someone else to fix the issue. Would NOT recommend using Anderson Restoration.
