We stopped in for a family lunch and I ordered three tacos--a birria, asada, and al pastor--along with a prickly pear margarita. Everything was well-seasoned, incredibly tender, and tasted fresh. The quality genuinely reminded me of more upscale spots like A Toda Madre or Bien Trucha. The prickly pear margarita was on the smaller side, but they certainly didn't skimp on the tequila. It was crisp, refreshing, and paired perfectly with my meal. Despite a busy Saturday afternoon, service was quick and friendly, and more importantly everyone in our party loved their food and couldn't stop talking about how fresh and flavorful everything was. We also appreciated the toppings bar and salsa selection, which made it easy to customize each taco exactly how we wanted. My only knock is that several tables sat dirty for a while after guests left, and the dining room didn't seem to get much attention. Since this was our first visit during a busy lunch rush, I'm hesitant to say that's the norm, but it was noticeable... Overall, we left happy, full, and already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu.

I recently worked with Jamie at Chicago Food Truck Hub to cater for a student/university event…read more From his very onset to responding to my initial inquiry he was very organized and quick to respond. He was always able to help bring clarity to issues we needed to navigate. We had some considerable additional hoops to jump through to ensure that we were compliant with university procedures and our health safety office. Throughout the process he remained a great partner in producing the documentation needed to be 100% compliant. The day of the event, Jamie was a great liaison and was on site to ensure that everything went smoothly. Even when we had to make last minute changes to our logistics because of considerable rain, we were able to trouble-shoot appropriately for a nice event. In the final lead up to the event he also helped to navigate cost savings measures to make sure that we wouldn't experience much food waste from the event. It was a pleasure working with Jamie. I would highly recommend working with him in the future.

The menu was short & sweet: water & Jarritos to drink & three varieties of tamales, Go-To Green (chicken), Real Deal Red Pork, & Chorizo & Cheese. I ordered one chicken & one pork ($7 each) to try both their salsa verde & red chili blend sauces which generously coated the sizable tamales. Both types of shredded meat inside were moist & flavorful, & the top, drizzled with sour cream & pickled onions, made for an enticing presentation. Quick-moving line, nice people manning the register; I'm glad I chose Tickle My Tamale over other food trucks during my brief lunch break.

My friend waited in the very long line at the Toasty Cheese truck for a cheddar and bacon sandwich and rosemary fries, which she enjoyed. Wish there had been more dessert options; cupcakes dominated. We were there far earlier than when the band was due to play at 6:30; it would have been nice if live music was all day long. A nice start; maybe it will expand in the future.

The worker asked for a menu that we were interested and after approximately 2 weeks still no response, besides "we're extremely busy". Attempted to utilize a service provider that the food truck is affiliated with, to which, they never responded to the provider either. Such an unfortunate experience with poor customer service for a food truck acting with such a pompous attitude.
