They've got coffee, biscotti, whoopie pies, soft pretzels, and more. We also got the soft pretzel with mustard. Mustard was great. Pretzel? Best I've ever tasted?? Was not expecting that! Good thing it was buy one get one free! My husband and I are tasting them now and wondering at how lovely and complex the flavor is. So good! Cute, clean interior with ample seating. I'm sure it gets packed when the weather's nice!

Basically you get to feed the goats. *Everything in the store is made there in-house, from the iced creams to the baked goods and especially their fantastic waffle cones. *As mentioned above, get the waffle cone. It's only $1 more, and it's superb. *Curated selection of classic iced creams flavors, as well as seasonal ones. *Friendly staff *Drive-thru for the truly fat of ass who can't be bothered to get out of the car for their heart attack in a cone. :8) *They also sell fresh meat from animals on their farm. *Ridiculously cheap. Especially if you're coming from NY or CA like us, then you feel like you're rippingb them off. Something like this in CA would go for easily for $15+++--and here you spend ±$5 The Meh: *Closed Sundays for obvious reasons. The Ugly: *Not a bloody thing. Only that it's 3k miles away from my house but that's it. Conclusion: Stop reading this and just come here. If you're a fan of ice cream then this is Mecca.

Fantastic bakery that opened barely a week when I went with my family in Strasburg…read more Easy to miss but right by a wine shop, this bakery is tucked away from the main street but that shouldn't stop you from visiting. Everything is made there by owner Vickiann Keene who I met along with one of her workers. Very friendly and welcoming and noticed we had stopped by the nearby donut shop. From viennoserie like danishes, muffins, scones, and cinnamon rolls, there is good selection to choose from. The scone I had was the raspberry white chocolate and was the choice when I asked for a recommendation. The scone was moist, just the right amount of crumbly you'd expect from a well-baked scone and the raspberry white chocolate flavor combination gave a light sweetness without being cloying. Same thing for the sticky bun which was amazing when warm. Not too doughy and the amount of sweetness I prefer in my viennoserie. The bakery also serves La Colombe coffee and makes other delicious items such as eclairs, cream puffs, cupcakes and dessert bars which all looked fantastic. Make a pit shop at Strasburg and try this bakery! Happy eating and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

There was a sign on the door stating that only 4 people are allowed inside a time, social distancing must be observed, etc. There were already 2-3 people inside. A group 4 of women piled inside ahead of me and stood there talking. So I stood in the doorway, mask in hand, ready to put it on before entering, and respectfully asked if they are still limiting the number of people in the store. Bear in mind that fully vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks indoors. I was told, yes they are still limiting the number of people to 4 and can I please wear a mask. Then the girl turns to the group in front of me and said, "You can all stay." If you are going to pick and choose amongst your customers, I won't be one.

I was not impressed at all. We stopped in last night for…read moredinner, a rare occasion that I was looking forward to. We made reservations and got there about 4:45. It was not busy yet. The hostess sat us promptly. The server took about 10 minutes to get to us and we were ready to order everything. We ordered two non alcoholic drinks, French onion soup, a Cobb salad with steak no ham, no bacon, blue cheese dressing and green goddess dressing and poutine fries. The soup was decent. A little sweet for French onion. My salad came out with both ham and bacon on it, and I was missing my green dressing. The steak was tough and I wasn't given a steak knife so I was sawing away at it with a butter knife. I picked the ham and bacon off the salad and put it on a side plate. I couldn't get all of the bacon out. The server finally came to check in, I asked for the green dressing and let him know the drinks hadn't come yet. My husband's drink came out. Mine did not. Towards the end of the meal I asked for the drink. It was just soda and peach. When he brought it he let me know it was spiced peach. I wish I knew that when I ordered it. It tasted like booze and I couldn't drink it. When we were finished and our plates were clear the server then apologized for the ham and bacon. I would have rather it been fixed than be an after thought. I just feel we were forgotten about

It is the sort of landmark that promises something memorable, or at least something sweet. Inside, the place leans heavily into its role as a stop-off for visitors. Shelves are filled with faux-Amish goods, hex signs, and a cheerful assortment of bric-a-brac, along with shirts that seem very proud of nearby towns with names that invite, shall we say a certain kind of humor. It feels less like a bakery and more like a general store that wandered into a theme. The people working there are genuinely kind, and generous with samples, which is always a wise and welcome strategy. We tried a bit of the shoo fly pie, and in the past we've tried some cookies, root beer, and ice cream. They were all perfectly fine. Pleasant, even. But they did not distinguish themselves from the many other places in Lancaster County offering the same treats with equal or better competence. Nothing here is bad. In fact, it is all quite enjoyable in the moment. But it is not something I would go out of my way for again. Far less so when the tourist busses are around. It is a place you stop at because you are already there, because the windmill caught your eye, because someone offers you a sample and you say yes. Three stars, for doing what it does well enough, in a place where "well enough" is abundant.
