I've gone here a few times over the past year. While not all bad, certainly things that could be…read moreimproved. Just a few things I've seen that are not quite rite. 1). The office phone is connected to the owners phone. You will get call backs from the staff with random numbers. Might want to be a bit more professional and get an office phone. 2). Your appointment will most likely change more than once if you see the owner. My appointment was changed due to "babysitting issues" but I saw her coming out of the sauna (no kids) wt the same time as my original appointment. Rochester is a small town. 3). During multiple appointments, the owner was scrolling through Facebook and texting during my session. She thought she was being sneaky but wasn't. Great support staff. Very kind and friendly. I won't reveal my identity because the defensive and crappy remarks that were made on the last bad review tell me you can't take any criticism. Learn some humility, you might get farther along. People are trying to help. Listen.

If it wasn't for the front desk staff (Kathleen?), another masseuse and the owner(Nic) making me…read morefeel welcome, I would probably give this place a 1 or 2 star (if it was based on just my massage experience). I will likely try this place one more time with another massage therapist and revise my review appropriately, as I did really like how I was treated before and after the massage and because I came to this place seeing that it has some great reviews. So, here we go: Pros: 1. Welcoming staff. 2.Good costumer service after the fact 3. Quaint feel Cons: *1. The massage therapist's service--no continuity/flow in the massage, she jumped from one body part to another haphazardly and quickly (within a minute she would jump from my shoulders, to my shins, back to my shoulders), pressure of massage was also not uniform and seemed haphazard as well; --I felt stressed during/end of the massage 2. The massage therapist's commentary--I heard about medication she was taking and then not taking, I heard about her dog, I heard about her sister, I heard about sunglasses she took off a rack at a store-- multiple topics that jumped around quickly as well. 3.Not sure what the scent was at the time of the massage, but this was not something that I preferred--I realize that this point is more subjective of an experience and that others may be fine with the scent--this point did NOT contribute to the star rating. -I got this massage in 2017. I did not return for an additional massage, but would still consider getting another one here, but with a different massage therapist.

The person at the front desk informed me that my birthday is in February, and it is now March (no way!) I showed the email that said 30 days expiration that was sent on February 21st. Not a great way to start a yoga class when you already don't feel welcomed from the start. The class was good, but unexpectedly the teacher trainer was observing the yoga teachers in training. They had to randomly start teaching part of the sun A. I wish it was explained that was going to happen prior to the class & would've loved to support new teachers. Overall felt confused.

Jerome was my practitioner and he met me at the door when I arrived. He spoke to me about a few of my concerns but genuinely mentioned that he didn't want to know much because it could perhaps influence the session. I did not utter another word. His work was magical. After an hour of meditation and energetic healing, he expressed that two of my chakras were either stopped completely or slow. He cleared them both. I felt feeling refreshed and renewed. Here is the crescendo: After a week, I still feel amazing and the differences in mindset are crystal clear. I will definitely be going back! Thanks Jerome. You just earned my business.

The website has great functionality and was very easy to gather information from and to schedule a class. When I arrived the person at the front desk must have gathered I was a new student, greeted me by name and helped direct me and introduced me to the instructor. The instructor was very kind, making note of my limitations and gently helping me understand things I was doing wrong, giving instructions directly and indirectly. I actually surprised myself being able to do things I didn't expect I was capable of. You don't have to be able to everything perfectly, just what is comfortable. It was also more meditative than I expected which I really enjoyed. After the class some very nice classmates were very complimentary and welcoming. I am sure I will get more out of these classes as I become more familiar with yoga. And I definitely will be continuing. I did a pretty wide internet search from rec center to other schools in the area and am glad I settled on this one. It was exactly what I was looking for.

As she's working, I can feel energy shifting and I can get into a wonderful relaxed state of just being and not thinking. For someone who lives in their head all the time, it's a delightful feeling. You have the choice to have her say what's she's sensing or not but I love to hear what's she's sensing, as it's so accurate and to me, it helps me change to terms with my feelings or know what to focus on in the coming weeks. The best part is, after every cleanse, I feel lighter and more connected, even after some very heavy work that may bring up an array of emotions: when I leave, I feel like the sun is shining brighter and all my favorite songs are on the radio. And that feeling stays with me for several days to weeks after. The three session pack is a great deal for the amount of healing you get and it's very flexible: you could use these monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, etc depending on your needs. I'm putting Reiki healing with Claire up there with getting massages or seeing a chiropractor: go when you need it but also when you don't to prevent needing it.

It's rare to come across a space that truly honors the human experience--raw, imperfect,…read morebeautiful--and rarer still to find a guide who walks beside you with genuine presence and integrity. That has been my experience working with Donna over the past couple of years through Ascension School of Healing Arts. I didn't come into this work lightly. I was seeking something that would help me make sense of myself, my patterns, my wounds, and my potential. What I found was not just support, but a path: one that challenged me, held me accountable, and helped me remember my own strength. She helps you reclaim parts of yourself you didn't even know were missing. I've witnessed so many moments of transformation--not just in myself, but in others who have walked this path with me. There's no hierarchy in the space she creates. It's collaborative. Empowering. Human. She helps me understand my pain and transform it, understand it, integrate it, and move through it with intention. When I've brought ideas, projects, and personal milestones to her, I've felt celebrated, seen, and heard. She truly has a deep commitment to helping others rise in their own light.
