The Omelet's are just so beautifully presented. Not only are the ingredients combined in the omelets, then beautifully folded with lots of the same ingredients on top! Just lovely to look at and the taste matches the presentation! Extra butter scooped in a little cup for your grits and mine had sour cream on the side for the omelet. I totally went carb crazy and ate everything! It was so yummy and no lunch needed today! The place was bustling and customers waiting even though we are out of season. But this was actually very tasty and covered with a light sauce. It also came with soup or salad. Dave got the salad and I got the chicken noodle soup. I wanted matzoh ball soup but there was a $3 up charge for a cup. The soup should have been called chicken veggie with two noodles. Very disappointing. We opted to share an order of rice pudding and it was served in an ice cream sundae glass with whipped cream. Delish! Jason was extra attentive and made sure that we had refills and everything we needed. As always Mel's saved the day.
