These baristas set the bar! Kindness! The love to serve their customers awesome caffeinated drinks and snacks! This is my Saturday go to!

Love the space to co work and connect with others they have a nice cafe to get things done. The offerings do include some vegan options. And the tea is really good. They got rid of the barista with the horrible attitude and the place has been a favorite ever since.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was my first trip there and they were so helpful and helping me choose a drink for my first visit. During this trip, I tried the Coco chai latte iced. It was absolutely delicious and I'm so glad I listened to the barista's recommendation. The establishment had ample seating of various high chairs and low chairs. They also had merchandise for purchase, including candles and various aroma sprays. They offer also offer drinks for purchase from local companies They also have baked goods. I will definitely be checking out this location again as it's right next to the Greenway, so you can hop off of your bike, which they also have bike parking and grab a cup of coffee before you head to your next destination.

Such a great spot with friendly staff. There was plenty of seating and a good spot to work if need-be. There's also a little market with wine and coffee too. Will be back!

This is the best Red Hook location. There is plenty of free parking, a spacious interior, outdoor seating, and a "wine side." I liked that there was an air purifier in the café. The décor is modern and chic. The tables are large, and the seats are comfortable. I enjoyed my London Fog with oat milk. Plenty of pricey but delicious pastries, including an egg breakfast sandwich that I like to have when I meet someone here in the morning.

Strawberry Pop Tart is fluffy yet crisp, just enough interior jam, topped with hardened frosting; layers of deliciousness.

Having been an original patron of the Ferndale Red Hook, I was thrilled to learn that after moving to my new place off East Jefferson a new Red Hook location was near opening. I def grew accustomed to walking my dog up every now and then the first Summer they were open, and then 'the accident of 2022' happened and my random ritual ceased to carry forth. But, just touched down back in good ole Detroit from Charlotte, and made an AM beeline for my Red Hook go-to's; - Cheddar Bacon Chive Popover (sans lactaid pill but worth it) - Strawberry Pop Tart - Brown Sugar Espresso Latte with Oat Milk, 16oz. The service is always warm and friendly, and if you're early enough you have your choice of a full array of their small bites offerings. They also have a very quaint interior seating area and a new roped off patio area with several tables, chairs and umbrellas. Side note: other then missing Detroits Award Winning Riverwalk, and my Red Hook Adventures - I also missed my weekly hardcopy MetroTimes Astrology Horoscope section. Shout out MT Horoscopes.

I found this place on my last visit to Detroit. Super cute shop in a super cute location. The outdoor seating was also nice. The coffee and pastries good. Really nice spot. 5 out of 5 for me.

Absolutely love this coffee shop. Their lattes have the perfect foam and their seasonal syrups are delicious. I really like their cinnamon syrup but the orange blossom is also delicious. The baristas are super knowledgeable and the service is great.

Just got back to drinking coffee but my old place is now closed. Was recommended here by a good friend on my birthday and wasn't disappointed. Haven't been back since but will for sure be back.

Monroe Street that it's located off of is under heavy construction currently so it may be a bit treacherous navigating the sidewalk outside, but the pastry shop remains open and continued to enjoy heavy foot traffic during the hour I was inside. The staff members are friendly and recommended the baklava as their most popular pastry, so I ordered one dipped with chocolate and pistachio, along with an iced latte. They had about five small tables along the wall for you to sit and eat at, but the benches are wooden and not the most comfortable for use as a study spot. My coffee was nothing to write home about, but the baklava was flaky and very sweet, definitely one of the best I've tried. They had a huge variety of other pastries too, and if they all taste as good as they look, would be worth checking out too.

The carrot cake looked delightful but the slice of red velvet looked a little dull. When it was time to indulge we started with the red velvet slice and discovered it was a waste of calories if you're a red velvet fan - the cake was dry and the cream cheese icing was anticlimactic. On the other hand the carrot cake was amazing - super moist and got a 2 thumbs up. In addition I will say the staff was very friendly and patient especially with our loads of questions. I will go back but the red velvet will not be purchased again. Also I love the overall look and feel of this bakery but do wish it had more seating.

I ordered cookies, a scone and tea this morning. Please note that Thursday morning special is only until 11am or right before. I went a few weeks back at 11:30am and staff said "I guess it stopped and switched over." Today was the special pricing for most of it. I also ordered a veggie quiche that came with dressed greens. I would not recommend as it was excessively salty. The spinach seemed to not be chopped and layered near the top. I wish I had stopped at the sweets. Best part whether special or not was the cookies. I don't know if they are baked daily or not, but they were kept in a plastic containers. The space is small, but dining at the Jolly Pumpkin tables is allowed. The management doesn't clearly care because staff is not fully trained. I tried emailing feedback on the Thursday special and no reply after 2 weeks or so.

We probably would've skipped it if we'd realized how pricy they were. The cupcake was incredibly decadent and delicious (encased in a milk chocolate shell, inside were a layer of whipped cream and layer of chocolate ganache atop a moist and delicious cupcake). The custard in the eclair was overly rich and the dessert itself too chilled to be especially enjoyable. On a future visit, I'd split the decadent cupcake two ways and skip the eclair.
