Couldn't stop smiling walking around this shop, and that's what it's all about folks...this is a great local business offering lots of trinkets, odds and ends, unique gifts and random novelty goodness. Lots of high quality games, high grade soaps and incense, and interesting doodads. The last time I visited, his store was on Wyoming/Montgomery. The store had a lot to offer my company. They happily browsed through the isles. I was impressed with his stock, it was clean, and it was well organized. The owner started to check us out, but his grandson came to relieve him, so he finished the transaction. They were both friendly and knowledgeable about chiles. He also roasts chiles when in season. We found the perfect ristra. We'll be back.

We saw the plants in the window, and they had the succulents we were looking for as well as other attractive house plants. As we wandered the store, we looked at the gently used women's wear (beautiful dresses, and unique jackets), books, and kitschy items that include items men (and women) would like for camping or traveling. As we checked out, we noticed some fun stickers. I bought one for my niece: " Cool Girls Care." The gentlemen who checked us out was personable and helpful. He told us his store had only been here a month. He also told us where our mural was located - around the corner! So glad we found it and this shop. Both were memorable!

I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying. I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us. If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!

With only one day in ABQ, I knew the top thing I needed to see was Old Town!! Even after asking a…read morefew locals what they would do in the city, they all mentioned this area. Old Town oozes charm and culture. You can visit a historic chapel, roam the many cute shops or grab something to eat at one of the restaurants. There's a lot of really interesting Native American keepsakes and art to check out as well. You also never know what could be going on here - I happened to stumble into a quincenera and visited around Day of the Dead, so there was some really neat decor all around. If there's anything you must do in this city, it's Old Town!!

My friend had a bunch of Native American shops bookmarked and they were all in this general area so we came to do multiple things at the same time. The shops here are closer to the reservation with lots of Native American artists so it is much more affordable than the same thing in Santa Fe. It is a bit touristy but we are tourists so we enjoyed it. Many shops had unique items that were hard to find and even though it was mainly for show I loved seeing the dried chili everywhere. The area has legit history and age and it was great being able to see and do so much without moving our car. Parking was easy and from the town square you can get to many different shops, restaurants, and attractions. The church was a nice fast stop, but I liked the exterior more than the interior. The vibe and architecture are perfect American Southwest and we enjoyed our time here. There was also a Pokemon card shop I grabbed some cards for the kids from!

I didn't realize I was going to spend as much as I did since none of the items had prices on them. A nice young man checked on me to see if I needed help after a few minutes which was nice. I called Plaza and spoke with Sandra who then gave me her cell number, I sent her photos of the ornament. She found the same ornament and we did the transaction over the phone and I received the new ornament in a week. Sandra went above and beyond ordinary customer service!
