I called Alta View Sports Medicine and was able to schedule a new patient appointment within just a few days. I saw Dr. Sybrowsky and he spent a good amount of time with me, listening to my concerns and checking me out. He examined my knees and other area he was suspicious of for injury. He was very thorough and I was amazed he spent more than half an hour with me and took a lot of time explaining what was causing the issues, what it would mean, and how to treat the problem. He supplied me a couple of knee braces, lots of advice and care instructions, in addition to comfort and trust with him. Since then. I've had to see him to not only follow up with my knees, but more recently, a broken wrist obtained while mountain biking down from the top of Snowbird (by means of taking the tram up). Since the Dr and his staff are specialized, they offer a higher level of service and knowledge, that ends up leading to a better experience, treatment, and healing. I would definitely recommend Dr Sybrowsky and this practice to anyone I know who can utilize his talent. My only gripe with all of my experiences would be when I tried to schedule an immediate appointment, as quickly as possible, when I first broke my wrist. Since Dr S was booked up for the next few days, I asked if I could see someone else at the office, a different Dr. I was shocked when I was advised that once in their system and having seen a Dr, I can't see a different Dr at their office. Maybe there is a logical reason for this, but I thought it odd and somewhat inconvenient. His office is pretty good about getting appointments scheduled though, and it's convenient that he works out of 2 hospitals (Alta View & Lone Peak). His staff is awesome, but I prefer the staff at Alta View better; they're more friendly and professional.

Upon calling to schedule an appointment today, I was informed that I had a left over bill after my insurance coverage of $11.26 from last year. (I had honestly forgotten to send the payment while dealing with my injury and trying to run my business through it all) Anyway, they told me that I just needed to clear it up with collections and I could be seen...but, they failed to disclose a very important fact. After paying it immediately and calling their office back, the office manager got on the phone and informed me that because I had a balance that went to collections, even though it was paid, I would now be required to pay my total bill, including x-rays, etc. upfront at the time of the appointment and have my insurance reimburse me! She then went on to tell me that this had happened before, but after looking at my insurance transcripts, I found that THEY were at fault the 1st time for under charging me for my insurance co-pay. The transcript also shows that it was paid promptly when I went back in for my 6 week follow-up visit and I was informed of the office staff's error. There's no consideration for their patients with this policy...they obviously forget that we are all human and sometimes, life happens! If you search, you will also find a review from another that had this same treatment over a bill that was less then $2.00. As a business owner, I realize that it's important for everyone to pay their bills, on time, but their policies and disregard for honest human mistakes are over the top! "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick. I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure. I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm."

I then went on to have screws put in the other elbow a few months later. Over the years he has put screws or pins in both elbows, both ankles and on some occasions multiple surgeries on re broken bones with additional screws. I think I put Dr. Kimball through the ringer as I was always getting busted up from accidents and fast living. I am now 57 years old and needed a complete knee replacement. I couldn't believe Dr. Kimball was still operating and was so at ease and excited he would put in a new knee for me. I can't believe its been over 40 years since I first met Dr. Kimball. He is just a great guy and class act on the highest level. I've had several family members needing joint surgery and had them all go to Dr. Kimball. From a what I understand Dr. Kimball is mainly now concentrating on knee and hip replacement. As usual Dr. Kimball once again got me back to normal. Can't ever thank him and his staff enough!!!

Dr. Cerami is a fantastic chiropractor who also is knowledgeable in muscle testing. His clinic also has two hypobaric chambers (HBOT), laser therapy, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM). The building also houses a massage therapist, a psychiatrist, and a nutritionist. While the name of the business has 'sports' in it, you do not necessarily need to be engaged in some kind of a sport to receive services. Unlike other medical offices, this one runs on time. You have your appointment and 95% of the time you will be in at the time of that appointment. The office does not accept insurance of any kind, but will give you a copy of any receipts you might need if you would like to try submitting them to your own insurance company. While this might be a deal breaker for some people, I have found that there is a massive difference in the care and customer service from a medical office that doesn't accept insurance verses one that does. I don't have enough room to do a full 'personal experience' review; however, I will be forever grateful that I found Utah Sports and Wellness (USW). Through the use of FSM I was able to get answers to pain and medical issues that eluded me and other medical professionals. It would not be too much to say that FSM saved my life, because I was at the point where I didn't think I could live another 40+ years with what I was going through. My own story is an abnormality in comparison with people who might normally walk through his door, but it's a solid place for me to recommend USW to anyone and everyone. It's Dr. Cerami's goal to get his patients out of pain as quickly as possible so they can get on with their lives, not to have them coming to his office three times a week for years on end. I have found Dr. Cerami to be knowledgeable and honest. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Awesome staff Knowledgeable Chiropractor…read more Clean facility I met with Dr Reheisse for pain in my back after an exceptionally long road trip. I was nervous as I had never been to the Chiropractor before. His staff was so friendly and patient with me, I felt like I had been going there for years after just arriving. Dr Reheisse worked on the issue and adjusted me head to toe. I appreciate the long term care plan they created for me to make sure that the PT stretches they gave me were working and that my pain was reducing. I will go back for any and all issues I've got in the future! I feel so much better!!
