This is the place I go when I have no where else to go. I used to come here a lot as a kid, and I'm now mid 20s. The guy behind the counter has become very rude and condescending. I understand he deals with incompetent people on a daily basis, however this is a business, and it should be welcoming to customers. Especially new shooters. Additionally, the range doesn't allow 5.7 ammunition. Which is laughable because it allows 10mm and 44mag which ballistically have better penetration. Green tip 5.7 I understand. However standard FMJ 5.7 is not what this guy thinks it is. One last thing, the heat is immense in there, some A/C would be nice. read more

Few of things that could be improved. 1. Safety range officer was barely present while shooting. Should have made clear who he/she was, and walked around to enforce safety. 2. Heating/AC do not work. Expect outside temperatures inside shooting area 3. Customer Service was okay did not seem pleased that we had come to practice shooting 4. Some of the safety/policy signs worn out and could barely be read 5. Switches for target are not labeled. They are functional but need to be explained on how to use them. 6. Lighting was okay some areas seem dark 7. Carpet floor with broom makes it harder to sweep brass could be improved Shooting range gets the job done. Overall it's a shooting range none the less. The gentlemen at the counter was nice one minute then rude the next. I think he was having a bit of trouble putting on the fake smile. My friend said she had read disclosures before and was good without reading it. It took her comment so serious and was like well I'm not other ranges so you need to read mine. She later asked for change and he didn't want to give her change for a 20. He just kept throwing out rude remarks then 5 seconds later he was trying to be nice and helpful. It was so annoying. Well run, well ventilated and well lit, safe range. All of their equipment works and the place is clean. They have all the popular calibers of ammo to buy at fantastic prices, don't even bother looking to buy reloads for any cheaper - you'll waste your time. If your thinking about what gun to buy, they have several you can rent and test out. They also have targets and safety b.s. too. I read one review about "the furniture is old" If that's what you care about, my review is worthless to you. It was the filthiest place I've ever seen. The poor lighting was concerning, considering live ammo was being fired. Also it seemed the AC didn't work or they didn't turn it on much. The range itself was a carpeted area that's very worn down. They had old and somewhat faulty unlabeled switches for the targets/lights, a single half broken staple gun to mount your target to the boards, the Range Officer was chill and kinda helpful so it was nice they didn't watch your every move. Payment at the end was awkward because he again cursed to himself and just seemed ticked off at the world. I might go again since the price was low, but I'm definitely looking for better places even if they're further away. read more

The best range value in the area, They don't make you buy their ammo, and the range fee is reasonable. Don't let the look of the lobby fool you. The target tracks work perfectly and are simple to use. The gentleman that runs the counter is always friendly and willing to help. They do have eyes and ears available for rent, and keep the most popular calibers of handgun ammunition as well as other shooting supplies on hand for sale. If you reload, they usually have a good amount of brass packed and ready to go. They are usually pretty buy, but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a lane. This is a pistol only range, no rifles or rifle caliber handguns due to the size of the facility and backstop safety rating. I agree with previous reviewers - This is not a fancy "yuppie" or "Full Comfort" range, just a place to practice your pistol shooting skills. I feel more comfortable shooting here than at most other indoor ranges. read more

Nothing over the top, it's a shooting range that is showing it's wear and tear...people have mentioned to dress warm when it's cold, and they aren't kidding. When you can see your breath in the lane and can't feel your fingers because it's too cold, then they may not be exaggerating. It was 18 degrees inside the shooting area...so that means that when its 90 degrees outside that it will be very warm inside. It's still a low key place to go and shoot your handguns, no pretentious posers, and the snob level is toned down quite a bit. read more

The Range is a practical shooting facility run by shooters, not by a bunch of wannabe "operators." It's a pretty old building and it's not fancy, but it has 14 operating lanes where you can shoot any handgun caliber (.22 - .44 mag) handgun or carbine with no drama. They rent guns, sell reload range ammo for a reasonable price if you need it, sell targets, and have ears and eyes if you need them. But if you have your own gun, ammo, and range gear that's just fine and the range fee is very reasonable. These are good people with plenty of shooting experience and an easy to get along with attitude. Very friendly and they get to know your name quickly and treat you like one of the family. The only drawback? No AC or heat in the actual range portion, so if it's hot or cold outside expect it to be even hotter or colder inside the lanes. But I've been shooting there weekly for 9 years now, and you do get used to it. To my wife and I, going there is like going to shoot with family and friends. Highly recommended. read more
