At this point, it's hard to call what's going on anything other than a complete shit show. What…read moreshould be a smoothly run operation has turned into constant confusion, mismanagement, and frustration for everyone involved. There's no clear communication, no accountability, and no sense that anyone at the top actually has control of what's happening day to day. Mistakes keep stacking up, problems go unresolved, and instead of fixing the root issues, everything feels reactive and sloppy. People are left guessing, cleaning up messes that shouldn't exist in the first place, and dealing with unnecessary stress because leadership refuses to adapt or acknowledge how bad things have gotten. When the same problems keep repeating, that's not bad luck that's bad management. Running something like this requires energy, organization, and the ability to evolve. Right now, none of that is showing. The result is a mess that reflects poorly on everyone involved and wastes time, money, and patience. At some point, self-awareness matters. If you're no longer able or willing to run things competently, the responsible move isn't to dig in harder it's to step aside. Honestly, it might be time to seriously consider retiring and letting someone else take over who actually has the drive, clarity, and capability to run things properly. Because what's happening now isn't sustainable, and pretending everything is fine just makes the collapse louder and more embarrassing when it finally hits.

Haggle like you mean business! Otherwise I find better deals at stores. Nice folks who run this, but I'm not enamored by a vendor or two selling authentic Nazi Germany merchandise. It's creepy. On a positive note, the gent who sends WW2 rifles is amazing. I forgot his name, but all you have to say is "World War 2 firearms." The man is an expert, yet humble and easy going. These crowds are large, although everyone is polite and respectful. Go for the experience, but be wary of pricing.

I explained this to the man behind the counter, and he immediately understood my concerns about the differences in laws and procedures. He took the time to walk me through the entire process, answered all of my questions clearly, and remained patient and helpful as I looked at multiple options. The cashier was also friendly and efficient, which made the rest of the experience smooth and hassle-free. That said, I want to acknowledge that months ago, I stopped by to ask some general questions and had a very different experience. The women working the back counter at the time were rude and unhelpful, which left a bad impression. So I understand why some of the negative reviews exist and I'd also be cautious of overly glowing reviews from other users with no review history. In short, Fred's may be hit or miss depending on who helps you, but this visit when I was ready to make a purchase was quick, painless, and left me with no complaints. Based on this latest experience, I will return for additional purchases.

It was a…read morefantastic course and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that plans to carry a concealed firearm. Perhaps you are new to carrying a concealed firearm. We were all there at one point. But if you are ever presented with a potentially harmful situation, do you know how to train your mind and body to assess and react? You may think you will have time to rack a slide and/or release a safety mechanism, but most life threatening situations happen very quickly. The foundation for this course is safe and repetitive gun handling skills followed by hands on range time. Don't get me wrong, you'll still need to keep up with training and practicing but this course definitely teaches you the responsibility and implications of carrying a firearm as well as the confidence to do so safely. I should also mention that the outdoor range facility is absolutely amazing. Finally, I cannot say enough about the instructors. Mike and Dave's resumes and experience speak for themselves. They are great teachers as well as great people - all while keeping it fun. I cannot thank you enough and I look forward to seeing what you put together for the follow-up course!

Before giving the rave, I do want qualify my statement by saying this is only the second outdoor…read morerange I have ever visited. The first was the Adelphi Manor archery range in Maryland. Also, I would be considered a novice archer by most standards, though having spend 20+ in uniform, I have seen a few rifle ranges... Now with that said - wow! It costs $3 for two hours but there were proper targets posted so there was nothing else to buy. The most valuable thing for me was that the targets were staggered at 10 yard intervals. 10 yards all the way up to 60 yards. There were two other guys (only one shooting) while I was there and they were on one end so I could stagger my shooting first at the 20, then 30 and so forth. I made it all the way to 50 and stopped while the arrows were all accounted for. Something else I have never seen before, behind the firing line were racks to hang the bows. When you go down the range the bow can stay hanging (opposed to being left on the ground. Not far away, the PX and commissary were also superb so I expect to be back soon.

Then he spent at least an hour with me, showing me the basics of shooting and critiquing my form as I kept at it. He was really knowledgeable and patient. And he wasn't getting paid to teach. You also wouldn't get this from Amazon or YouTube. So yes, it's in an office park, it's a little Bohemian - as is Bowe - but it was great. Highly recommended. I'll be back.
