We stopped for a late lunch at The Ranch Hand yesterday. I had high expectations based on what I've heard about their burgers, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Heeler (because blue cheese, duh) and my partner ordered the Cowboy. I was pleasantly surprised that burgers came with fries... these days, most places try to up-charge any side. My partner is kind of a burger snob and he said he'd give it a 7.5/10... but his favorite burger is from 5th Street Steakhouse, so the competition is stiff Lol I would say it was a 9/10 for me. The highs? The gourmet bun was toasted and branded with their logo, the produce was fresh, the bacon was hot off the grill, and the entire thing was cooked to order. The slight misses? I ordered the sea salt & vinegar fries and they were too salty for me... and that's saying something because I love salt. The burger patty was also a much leaner beef than we expected... and while "my health journey" appreciates that, it wasn't super juicy or tender, despite being cooked to a perfect level of doneness. All that to say: I'll for sure be back... I love to shop small and support local, and it's much easier to do when businesses like this are putting out such good quality eats! read more

The cheesy goodness in its liquid form is so flavorful. Was dripping cheese while eating it. Bottom bun was a little too burnt for one part but the rest was nice. Obviously means the buns were slightly crisp. Idk what it is, but that was an exceptional burger. Fries: crispy throughout, but not crunchy or hard. Nice and hot inside. Perfect size. Well salted. Still recommend some ketchup from the table. Extra Table had little cups for the ketchup and mustard. No lids. Ordered on Wednesday at 4:30pm Lady recommended tangy toro as her favorite and recommended smashburger if ur in a hurry. I was in a hurry Cattledog is a hotdog not burger Wait time for a single smashburger was around 15 min I dont know what happened. The smashburger on menu said 13$. But on my receipt, it says 15$ and says rancher, which is another burger they have. But the food I got clearly looked like the smash burger because it has fries which the rancher does not come with. So maybe I had to pay extra 2 dollars idk I dont give 5 stars often but this place I will want to come back again 5/5 read more

I am a regular at Secret Trail and I love when Ranch Hand is there! Some of the best fries in town for real. Service is always quick and the workers are always friendly. My husband loves the burgers, and even thought I don't eat beef, I still love the chicken sandwiches. Always a treat when we get dinner here. :) read more

First we have passed by 5 times and each time they were closed. We finally stopped by today and the lady was not having it. We paid $40 dollars for our food only for it to be disgustingly raw. Was out at Kite Day ordered 3 burger baskets an adult burger and a side of fries. Paid for all of it and waited 25 minutes. The waiting wasn't the issue, the food was delicious. It was the fact that they didn't give me my side order of fries and when I kindly informed the lady of the error she all out called me a liar and basically told to me pay again and wait another 20 minutes or leave. I paid 65 dollars plus a tip for 3 kids burgers at 10 per and 15 dollars for an adult meal. Doesn't add up. I wish I would have waited till after I got my meal to tip. RUDE! The worst service ever. I got the cowboy burger and loved it! I eat a ton of burgers menu says 1/3lb burger felt bigger than that very filling! Burger was cooked perfectly! Very juicy with great flavor and tasted fresh! I was really excited to try this place because I've heard great things but I was a little disappointed. I ordered the Cowboy burger and was asked if I wanted everything (lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles) on the burger and I said yes but didn't get any of those things on my burger. We've tried to eat here twice now. The hours listed on website say. They are open until 8pm but each time we've attempted to try them out they have been closed before 8pm. The first time they were not even in their location at 7pm. The second time we arrived at 5:40 pm and the truck was there but they were already shutting down. The person told us they were closing up because they didn't have a sale since 3pm. But 5 couples came up to the truck in the time that we were there asking about operating hours. Whoever answers the phone is absolutely rude and woke up on the sarcastic side this morning. I called just to see where they were posted at today because friends told me they have seen them in numerous areas around town and when I called to ask the women was sarcastically rude. It WAS going to be my first time trying them out because I've heard a lot of good things about them but never mind on that, I can only imagine the type of service they would give me for being there in person. I don't appreciate being from out of town and simply calling to ask to see where they were at today so I can come and enjoy some delicious food rather then go sit down in a restaurant. Just ordered a burger from door dash for pickup at this place. My first time ordering here so decided on the basic cheeseburger called The Rancher w/fries. Made and ready for pickup in less then 15 minutes. Parked in Commons parking lot in assigned spaces for this place. Easy in and easy out. No line, no wait. Got home and burger was OUTSTANDING! Garlicky, well seasoned, perfectly cooked, juicy and a hint of heat from the pickles and ranch sauce. The fries were crispy and hot as well. This place has burgers that are anything but basic. I can't not wait to go back and try other burger and fry options. I have been on the look out for a Really Good Burger Place and this has met and exceeded all I wanted.
