They explained the menu to me and gave me ample time to make my selections. I ended up ordering the chicken Katsu poutine, the halloumi fries, garlic Mayo sauce, and a drink. Within less than 10 minutes, my order was ready. I brought it back to the hotel and enjoyed every single bite. This is a must try place when in town. Keep in mind their portions are very generous. I waited a little bit and no one showed up to greet me so I took a moment to take a small video of the dining area and front counter when I hear a lady from behind me yelling at for making my quick video. The size of the chicken I believe is slightly bigger than what Nando's is serving, which is of course a value for money. They have won my points on all aspects on value, taste and portion. My wife got the sage & onion, and I opted for a haggis filling. We both very much enjoyed our rolls. They were very filling, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The haggis was unique, but we are very familiar with pulled pork sammiches back home. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Oink to any hungry travelers in Edinburgh.
