Sauce was ok, but a little condiment cup wasn't enough to bathe my meat in it. For an $11 sammich, it would have been nice to get at least a little side of slaw or a scoop on the sammie. $7 crinkle cut fries you can get at Costco is not a recommended purchase. Dinky portion & served kinda lukewarm with seasoned salt. $20 was not well spent for a sandwich and fries. However, if you're starving while the truck happens to be at the venue you're enjoying, then it's decent grub...just a bit expensive for what you get. The fries were really a let down when I saw them. When I get food from a truck, I'm hoping to see some interesting food that's a bit elevated from a brick & mortar, especially when you're paying premium prices for their lower overhead. When I'm ordering fries from a place that's not a cheap fast-food joint and paying almost $10 for them, I'm hoping to see some well-fried fries that are super tasty, wonderfully crispy, and a beautiful golden brown. I am not looking to get a small pile of anemic crinkle cut fries that look like they came out of a giant bag of Ore Idas that you can get at Costco for the same price I paid for this dinky handful. I'm not buying a side just to get more food. I'm buying a side to complement my entree making it a delicious meal at hopefully a good value. Needless to say, I couldn't even finish the fries as small a portion as they were...and I had help eating them...no one thought they were very tasty. If I'm spending a chunk of change on food I'm hoping to enjoy, I really want to enjoy every bite. This pairing I selected was ok, but did not leave a memorable impression enough for me to repeat the expense. If you're a BBQ aficionado, although, you might want to give it a try. The meat was tasty but just a bit ordinary.

As I start this review, I'm debating between 2.5 and 3 stars. I think I'll write everything out and…read moresee where I am at the end. I ordered the Classic American. For $8, the portion size was good. It was a fairly large burger, and I was definitely stuffed afterwards. However, the burger was unseasoned. Very unseasoned. My co-worker (who has been to BurGorilla before - it was my first time) says that was an anomaly; that they are usually seasoned much better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt there perhaps it was just an off day. The burger tasted fresh and was cooked pretty well (medium-well with a bite or two trending towards medium). A hefty helping of toppings, and they all tasted very fresh, although I would have preferred a few more onions. The roll was a tad chewy, and the burger was on a Kaiser roll. No issues there, really, just thought it was a bit odd. Another odd thing - the pickles on the burger were sweet and not dill, which I found unusual. I pick pickles off my burger and eat them separately anyway, love all kinds - just found it strange that they were sweet, you don't usually see that. I found the writing on the board to be a bit messy that day, and definitely read the "ranch chips" as "radish chips." Yeah, oops. I ended up tasting one of my co-worker's - nice crunch, not too greasy, and good ranch flavor, but MAN, were those babies salty. I don't think I could have had more than a few, so probably a good thing I didn't order them. Oh, and no napkins? C'mon, BurGorilla. At least put out some napkins - or if you are worried about customers taking too many, just give us one or two when you had us our food. All in all...I guess I'll say 3 stars, which I think is generous as I review my overall experience...I'll go with that mainly because I would go back and try them again. There are a few more burgers on their menu that caught my eye. I'll update this review if I return and try something else...but I'll tell you right now, if I get another unseasoned burger, the next trip WILL be my last!

We appreciated being able to order a small plate of beans and rice for the grands; the children loved their chicken burritos. My husband and i are still arguing which was better: the carnitas or the colorado. I say that they are both absolutely fantastic dishes and he argues that they are incredibly amazing. We both love their refritos and feel sad for the rice. BUT I have been called a rice snob before, so take that with a grain of salt. They even have Modelo Negra on draft -- stinking amazing!! Every time we visit the kids, we insist on eating here; it's that good.

We drove to the location, didn't see it at first, then saw the food trailer in the back corner of the parking lot. At first I thought, nah... I want a sit down restaurant, but decided to take a look at the menu. Do NOT do what I almost did ...and drive away! We studied the menu, ordered, and WOW! what a surprise!!! 1-The containers of food were HEAVY! My eyes popped when I saw the generous portion size 2-The food had a LOT of flavor! Although we had the option of adding sauce, the food had a lot of flavor on its own 3-Very friendly couple making & serving the food 4-I admit I don't usually seek out food trucks/trailers, but this one IS WORTH STOPPING AT. 5-It left an impression... we don't live in the area, but the next time we drive thru, we WILL RETURN to order again! So glad we stopped by for our lunch & highly recommend it to others!!! You can tell the dish was made with love.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, fries, and an apple butter donut. Wow. I loved the pork. It was smoky and flavorful, with plenty of sauce. And the bun was toasted, which is always a plus. The fries didn't look like much, but they were crinkle-cut ribbons of crispy deliciousness. My dad ate the side of coleslaw, and liked it. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese balls that I did not order... The one fail was the donut, which didn't have much flavor, and was topped with sugar, which I thought was unnecessary. Staff was friendly, and the long line moved quickly. The truck is a bit high, so I appreciate the step stool for ordering. I hope to come across Fork'd again, and soon.

Needed a quick last-minute tasty dinner, so stopped here once again yesterday evening to pick up…read moresome tacos. Would love to say "third time's a charm", but unfortunately. . . . There were two other people picking up orders, but otherwise we were the only ones waiting. There were apparently four (yes four) people managing the truck, so it's not like it was just one person disappearing up their own backside to do everything. We ordered "grilled" chicken tacos & marinated pork tacos, both orders with EVERYTHING, but the grilled chicken tacos with no onions. Now keep in mind that not only were these orders written down & repeated back to me, but the nice young lady even called me back once to verify exactly what we wanted or didn't want on each order. About 20 minutes later, we had our order & headed home. Foolish me for not checking the order before leaving. Husband's "grilled" chicken tacos were not the grilled ones he likes, but rather the "crispy breaded" ones that he doesn't like at all. They did, however, have "everything" - i.e. lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, & cheese, & didn't have any raw onions as he requested. No lime wedge though. My marinated pork tacos had nothing but some diced raw onions & cilantro - no lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese. I did, however get a lime wedge. Honestly - it's like the Keystone Kops took this order & processed it, & frankly this has happened in some way or other each of the three times we've been there. Don't get me wrong - the food itself is good, but the mixups & executions leave quite a bit to be desired. Bottom Line: Do give this place a try if you like decent tacos, but just be sure to check your order (which we didn't) before you leave, or have an avant-garde attitude about your tacos. (Although even if we'd checked our order before leaving, it's doubtful we would have returned it & asked them to remake it & wait another 20 minutes.) Just be aware.
