If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid $8,350 for what I expected to be quality gutter work -- instead, I got an unprofessional, sloppy installation that still leaks behind the gutters after three separate visits.
Despite multiple attempts to "fix" the job, the same issues persist -- water continues to run behind the fascia, gutters tilt, shingles are being pried up, and end caps were left unsealed (I literally saw a squirrel come out of one). For this price point, the workmanship is completely unacceptable.
I've spent countless hours documenting these problems, waiting for rain to record evidence, consulting other gutter companies, and confirming that these are not normal installation practices. No homeowner should have to act as the quality inspector for a company they paid nearly $9,000.
Some highlights of their poor workmanship:
1. Gutters are visibly tilting and not seated properly against fascia.
2. Gaps between fascia and gutter are wide.
3. End caps left unsealed, allowing critters inside.
4. Leaf filters shoved so far under shingles that they're prying them up -- a future roof insurance claim waiting to happen.
5. Inconsistent and sloppy use of caulk, diagonal fascia installs, uneven rafter cuts, and a pitch so exaggerated it ruins curb appeal.
6. When confronted, they blamed my foundation instead of taking accountability -- even though my roof was perfectly fine before this job.
Rain Man Gutters has been out three times, and it's still leaking. The fact that I have to chase a contractor this much to get basic functionality and craftsmanship is absurd. For anyone considering this company: think twice. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and regret.
I've shared full photo and video evidence of the installation issues and ongoing leaks in my google review. Homeowners deserve transparency, quality, and accountability -- not excuses. read more
