I had gutters installed on two of my houses. They look great, and they work perfectly. The price was reasonable. The company was professional and the communication was clear. They were able to accommodate a tricky condition with a narrow gap, and they installed a diverter on the roof that looks and works so much better than the one the roofing company had installed. I had them come back to connect the gutters to some new landscaping drains. That was also done very well. When I noticed some minor cosmetic damage to a downspout due to an overtightened screw, they came back and replaced it an no charge. Great company! I would definitely hire them again. read more

Made an appointment for a quote. The guy showed up late, and we had to drive from work to meet him. He called in advance, but didn't leave a voicemail. When he showed up, he said he shouldn't have to leave a voicemail and we should be able to accommodate him being late. Instead of actually doing what he came to, he was just rude, literally called me a piece of sh*t, and said he doesn't want our business. I thought that part was hilarious because I asked if he was the owner and he said "no...". I also did some research online and found out that this company pays for good reviews and also pays to remove their bad reviews. Although we weren't able to have any gutter work done due to our having a metal tile roof with flashing that is too big , the company representative who came to our home was both polite and demonstrated a level of expertise that allowed him to share the facts with us is such a way that we totally understand why they can't help us. 2023, 7 years after Guy Ziv and his excellent crew installed rain gutters and copper rain chains at my home. I was having my old wood pergola replaced with 4K aluminum, and the contractor found that the raingutter was in the way of one of aluminum post being level. Years ago, when the wood pergola was built, the installers had cut a notch in the post for the raingutter, but this was not advisable with an aluminum post. So, I texted Guy to ask for his help. We're about to be hit by a tropical storm in two days, and I know Guy is crazy busy. Still, he suddenly shows up and gives the pergola installers an easy solution! Guy's professionalism never stops. this isn't a review on a service provided, rather, it was the customer service i expierenced when i called in to try and schedule a consultation. My boss asked me to call this place to schedule a free consultation for new gutters at his house and instead i was spoken to like i didn't know what i was requesting for even though i said my boss wants new gutters installed and to have someone come and give a consult. then, when i requested a specific date and time for a visit, the response i received was if i had asked a rude question. All i wanted was to schedule a consult, instead, i was spoken to rudely and made to feel as if i was stupid for even calling. I called on 2/7 around 2:55pm update: changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars because Guy called me back right after posting my review to apologize and took some times to explain some things to me which i really appreciated. I am not a gutter expert, so it was nice to hear an explanation of why certain questions are asked and to be guided through the conversation. he also gave me an over the phone extimate as they are backed up and could take a couple of weeks to get someone out to give a consult. read more

He listened carefully to our needs and concerns. He designed the gutters to our specifications and we received the estimate that same day. I had an appointment for Wednesday June 28th for Ernis to come out to give me a estimate. He called me to ask if he could change the estimate date to the 29th which I agreed to as that was no big deal. Ernis called to say he would be 15-20 minutes late. He showed up 40 minutes late and his demeanor was very cold and off-putting and he struck me as a kind of person you don't want making initial contact with customers or clients. We started the process of going around the house so he could see the gutter locations. I have a patio cover that I have requested a gutter be placed on the back side of and three prior estimators said they could do it with "no problem, would be no issue at all" but with Ernis he immediately said they wouldn't be able to do it that it was a handyman project. I told him then there was no point in us continuing with the estimate as others have said they would be able to do it and if he can't then we are done. He went out to his car but then came back saying that he could have it done on the side but it wouldn't be covered under warranty and it wouldn't be Rain Gutter Specialists approved to which I said no thank you and sent him on his way. After an initial hiccup in getting an estimate the owner Guy Ziv came out to my home to look at the situation and although he knew it would cost him getting my business he gave me advice that ended up saving me a substantial amount of money with someone else. If not for the difference in price I would definitely consider giving Guy my business as I would trust him for his ethics and integrity. read more

We had moved into an older home a year ago and had some pretty janky gutters that needed to be replaced. I looked around for many gutter specialists but was most WOW'd by all of the stellar 5 star reviews on 'The Rain Gutter Specialists' Yelp page. Called to schedule an estimate and secured a date two days later with Johnny. He was prompt, on-time, good-natured and extremely knowledgeable regarding what our gutter project might entail. But he never once tried to upsell me or push me toward more expensive gutter styles. After conferring on our options, we texted and had the owner, Guy, reply right away. In fact, he popped over within the hour to look at our added areas of interest. He rejiggered our estimate based on our needs and we moved forward in booking them. They're in much demand so they booked us a date a couple weeks later. Not a problem for us. They contacted us a few days later to say they had a cancellation and would we like for them to start the following day. Well, since I work from home, that was welcomed! Arturo was a lovely gentleman who showed-up on install day with a co-worker whose name I didn't get. We walked around the property and I reaffirmed the areas he'd be working on. They got right to work and I'd have to say within a couple hours, they were all done and every scrap of material was cleaned-up and hauled away. We did another quick walk-through together to make sure I was satisfied with their work. Arturo and pal did a fantastic job and man, WHAT a difference some new gutters and downspouts make just in appearance alone! Can't wait to test them out once the silicone dries and/or when the next rains come. For the record, we switched from an older, traditional style of gutter w/ corregated downspouts, to the newer, sturdier aluminum Flat Face style in a 'musket' color w/ rounded downspouts.
