Our server was friendly, suggesting a drink special and letting my husband sample a couple of beers before he settled on a local ale, and the bartender very easily switched the drink special from a vodka base to a bourbon base. I highly suggest a Kentucky Mule at this place! We ordered fried corn nuggets as an appetizer, which came out quickly and were very yummy. My husband ordered the steak sandwich which was well prepared and not overcooked. I had the broasted chicken with mashed potatoes and corn and was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes. As we left, we chatted with the bartender, and then the owner of the business and they were the nicest people.
