Amazing! I can not say enough good things but I'll try…read more My sister and I were wandering the streets and stumbled upon this gem for dinner at about 6:30p (prob a little early for the area). Disclaimer: We had never had Indonesian food before, but I give this five stars for more than just the food (which is delicious for sure). The atmosphere: calm and cute, you'll never feel rushed and the staff makes you feel incredibly welcome. The whole affair started with the wait staff explaining the menu and bringing drinks. We opted for the veggie menu for two, except Im not vegitarian and wanted some meat. The owner explained that if you order an additional sate (meat) he gives complimentary two additional meat dishes (beef and pork), he even added two extra sate sticks for us AND substituted one veggie dish for a shrimp dish, so we really had four extra dishes for the price of one. He checked on us a couple times and was just so lovely. The Food: Where to begin, delicious. During out infinite meal there was a great mix of cold and hot dishes, crunchy and soft, heavy thick stews and light crisp flavors and the coconut rice!!! I don't think I can eat any other rice ever again. All that PLUS drinks for 30€ each. I would come back to The Hague just to eat here again, and Ill be seeking out more Indonesian food when I get home. Please try it and post your thoughts too, hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We went straight for the rijsttafel (non spicy version) washed down with some Indonesian Bintang beer. Very tasty with a friendly service in a decent atmosphere. Worth doing again.

However, when we tried this place, I was super surprised! Red Jedjeki was packed on a Wednesday evening. We didn't have reservations, but we were fortunate the sweet lady found a place for us to sit. I must say, this is hands down the best Indonesian food in the world! We ordered the menu for 2 people. A mixture of different dishes. Their side nasi goreng is ok, but everything else we had was so heavenly. I especially enjoyed their beef stew, sprouts with peanut sauce, picked cucumbers and carrots, green beans and boiled egg with a red sauce on top. Now, if you can tell me where else they have Indonesian food like Redjeki's, then please do share and I'll take a trip out there! Thank you guys for an awesome experience. We did have left overs and had it for lunch today. Well done to the lady and gentlemen who worked at Redjeki last night. We had a wonderful experience! It's worth the 5 stars. This is the place to visit if you want to try some Indonesian food in the Netherlands! Plus, Delft is such a cute town!

COME HERE FOR INDONESIAN FOOD/INDONESIAN RICE TABLE!…read more You can make reservations by calling. The second you enter you walk down a long hallway and you feel like you're walking right into the family's kitchen dinning area. The owner of the space was so friendly and took the time to talk to us/give us more background on the specifics of the food/get to know us. I loved that he did this because you can tell how passionate he is about making people happy through simply delicious food. I cannot believe I didn't take more pictures of the food because I was just too busy eating! We did opt into doing the "rice table" menu for two. There was more than enough food for me and my husband and we could not stop eating! Literally every single thing we got was so yummy and had it's own unique flavoring to it.

I did not have reservations when I arrived about 5:40 pm to a an almost full restaurant. I was asked if I could complete my meal in the next two hrs, before the next party with a reservation arrived. That was more than enough time for the two of us. I highly suggest reservations. The restaurant is small and the meals are large. The turnover for each table takes awhile. We ordered the Rijsttafel Keraton Damai. $26 per person, with a two person minimum. The servers are extremely attentive and friendly, and will take the time to explain each dish. This Rijsttafel come with a good variety of dishes. Four types of satay is included; pork, chicken, lamb, and shrimp. The meat on all dishes were cooked perfectly. One of my favorite dishes was the tempeh. I would havd liked a little more spice in my food. However, it was perfect for my husband who does not like spicy. It was a pleasant experience, with outstanding service. Glad we were persistent in trying to find this place. Yelp challenge #17
