That being said, it is part of Dallas history and still attracts a good amount of out-of-towners for special events. The Bodies exhibit is interesting (although not for the squeamish) and I imagine Landry's and the other restaurants still do a decent job. The Palomar Hotel a Ross the street is no longer a hotel it is now a high rise residential living place.

Mockingbird Station is a very fancy mini outdoor mall that will remind you a little bit of the domain in Austin. It's in North Dallas right off the highway in a very Prime area. It doesn't matter that there are three or four other major malls including the Galleria and Northpark within a couple of miles of here. Because this mall still gets massive traffic, and parking on one of the street spots which are metered quite expensively is still difficult. The VS store here is small and claustrophobic but has plenty of good stuff, and the Bath & Body store is nice with great employees as well. All in all Mockingbird is a great little Mall and Barbie made it look even better. Just don't make fun of any avian creatures while you're shopping here. It's not nice to go around Mockingbirds.
