We hired Justin Gentry of The Purrfect Paw Pet Service over a weekend (Fri-Sun) for drop in service of our two Alaskan Malamutes while we were out of town. To be honest, we were a bit apprehensive about what we would get since he was not personally referred to us and we found him in an internet search. But, we were left in a bind at the last minute, and decided to give him a try. Any uncertainty we felt was quickly resolved at the "meet and greet" when he came over to meet us, but more importantly, our dogs. We knew right away from their reaction to Justin that he passed the test. Both of our dogs were quite at ease with him. At the meeting, he was professional, very thorough and attentive to our requests. The fact that he is insured and bonded and certified in pet first aid also put our minds at rest. While we were away, he sent updates about his visits and upon our return home, he left detailed notes about his visits each day. Needless to say, we were very impressed! I hired Justin from Purrfect Paw to help my sweet doberman Stella maintain her active lifestyle while I tended to our newborn as we visited my family for several weeks. I could not have been more pleased! Justin is very trustworthy, professional, and truly cares for animals. Stella knew that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays he would come pick her up for an hour walk, and she would wait by the front door wagging her tail until she saw his car pull up. Justin is awesome with our 3 dogs and goes above and beyond every time he comes over to our house to check on them. We are often out of town on the weekends due to our son playing travel baseball and Justin has helped us so much with his service. We have a rescue dog that would get very stressed whenever we would board him to go out of town and having Justin come to the house now has really helped with his separation anxiety. He will watch the weather for us and if thunderstorms are coming in, he will make a special trip to let them back in the house. We used Purrfect Paw for the first time while we were out of town for a week. We were very hesitant to have people come to our home while we were away but after reading through the insurance and bonding certifications and meeting Justin we felt more secure. Our dog loved Justin and his crew and we felt relieved to have her stay in her own house and yard while we were away. She is a rescue and is terrified of kennels. Wonderful alternative if you don't want to put your pet in a kennel while away! We hadn't left our cat for more than a day since we got him months ago so it was very reassuring to receive daily message and photo updates of our pet while we were away on holiday. I love knowing my dogs are safe and in good hands when I travel and even daily on their walks. I work 12+ hour shifts so I get a 15 minute walk and potty break for them on those days.
