I enjoy the fact that they truly only carry the highest quality stuff - you get your money's worth. I'm talking paper, tools, machines, scrapbooks, stickers, embellishments, glitter, tape, glue - everything! They even have space to work on projects. The gals are more than helpful and have more creativity and knowledge than I can handle! They are able and willing to help everyone from the best and most creative to those just starting out. They have amazing ideas and all kinds of inspiring samples to check out. (Also, they have classes for the creative-challenged such as myself. You learn a ton, they're not expensive and they're FUN!) They help me design my wedding invitations and printed them. They truly have helped me all along my scrapbooking journey - starting with the first gorgeous leather bound book I bought. Thanks to them, I've been able to save so many memories - from the birth of my niece, to my wedding day and honeymoon and beyond. I've also decorated half my house and had a few creative, cost-effective Christmases thanks to them (great ideas to keep in mind)! Keep up the good work, ladies!

Many locals probably remember it as the barn surrounded by a fence of wagon wheels, a defining characteristic that adds to its artistic charm. Open Thursdays to Sundays from 10am to 6pm, you can take a free tour through the barn to watch various artists at work and tour the exhibition. You can also purchase artwork from local artists at the gift shop. Dahmen Barn also offer classes and workshops for both adults and children, book readings and signings, and occasional performances by local musicians. This is such a quaint local attraction. Many of the events (like the tour and some of the workshops) are free, and there's such a fun, artsy feel to the place. It's also interesting to learn about the barn's history and all the work that went into its renovation. If you're interested in art at all, this is a great attraction! It's about halfway between Lewiston, ID and Pullman, WA (sixteen miles outside of each city).

Or does it say more about society (or our area), that you can't just be nice to random people without them thinking the worst? So after giving them many chances, we've decided no more. They don't do anything positive for the community as a whole, just "their" community. This area deserves a better comic book shop and definitely don't bring your kids in for Pokemon cards.
