We really liked The Pub. We had some tasty cocktails and beers. I loved the spicy salsas with chips. I had the chicken enchiladas, and they were fantastic. Fish and chips were great. Fish tacos were ok. Calamari was a bit undercooked but overall the flavor was really good. Love the ambiance and service was good. We will definitely return. read more

This place would get four stars just for the ceviche alone. The mixed one is off the chain and definitely enough for an entree, not an appetizer. Because The Queen and I love ceviche, we got a mixed one and a shrimp one, thinking it would be a regular appetizer. Wrong...we had enough to let others try it and still take home to have for breakfast the next morning. The menu is pretty standard, again a mix of Mexican and bar food. You can get Mexican, burgers, shepherd's pie, Hawaiian pizza (hard pass for me)...you get the idea. While the menu is standard, the preparation is well done. The portions are very large and definitely enough to take home. The Queen got the mixed seafood tacos and I got the pork fajitas. Pork fajitas are not something I see back home and I am lover of pork, so I got these. Pork was nicely season and tender. Dish came with beans, but rice is extra. The Queen's tacos really weren't tacos...the meal came with tortillas (flour) and you had to put your filling in them. Our friend got the Hawaiian pizza and added broccoli to it. He loved it and had plenty to take back home for a snack. I am not a fan of this type of pizza, but it looked well made and the presentation was nice. The staff is nice and very accommodating. We were brought a round of tequila shots, which ain't shots...they are double shots, but still good. Definitely recommend this as a go to place to eat all three squares for the day. read more

While in PA was craving pizza talked to long time local who pointed us to the Pub. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was very friendly. The pizza didn't disappoint went with an interesting combo- shrimp, pineapple and onion. Side note if your kids like cats. Little yellow cat hangs around and is always looking for a pet or some food scraps. read more

The Pub was one of my favorite places in Puerto Aventuras. The food was amazing and I had such a good time here. The staff was awesome as well. I was in town and went here for breakfast numerous times. The breakfast burrito is amazing and its huge! The first time we ate breakfast was on a Thursday and we went here around 9 am. We sat outside by the dolphin discovery and could see the dolphins swimming around. We saw many people walking by, especially a local guy who had a pig as a pet. The waiters were super friendly. My friend got a giant (huge) smoothie with tons of fruit. I decided to start early with a Modelo Especial. It was super cold and tasted great. The first day I got the breakfast burrito and it was stuffed to the max with eggs, pork, salsa, and much more. It was covered in lettuce and cheese and had a sauce with it as well. It was AWESOME!! They also bring a basket of toasted bread to the table with butter and jelly! It was just toast but was great as well! Best part was this whole meal was less than $10 US! Great way to start the day at The Pub! Can't wait to get back and try much more! read more

The Pub. Ah, yes, The Pub. Passed it many times. Never went there. As mentioned in a previous review, after years of coming to Puerto Aventuras we decided to have our dinners at the local restaurants. And now we are fans of--you guessed it--The Pub!!! It isn't fancy, the menu is eclectic, and certainly not expensive. But the food was well done, and the portions gargantuan. A ceviche as good as I have had anywhere and way too much for one person, even a large guy like me. Tonight we decided to go simple, so it was fried calamari and nachos with chicken. Went home with 2/3 of the order. Again, well done. And the drinks at $5 a shot aren't bad either. And not to forget the servers: attentive and helpful. They help make the place as good as it is. One other note: music at restaurants is a sometime thing here in PA. We actually walked away from one restaurant this weekend which had an incredibly loud country western singer (yes, even in Mexico there is country western. Nothing wrong with that to be sure. But there is a way to sing country western and there is, well, the rest you don't want to know about). Anyway, for us, loud is not good. The Pub exceeded our expectations on that count with a charming young vocalist with a voice we actually enjoyed and a song list that we even danced to. So good marks on that score as well. So from a simple snack to drinks to a more complex dinner we would recommend the pub as a straight forward, go-to place here in PA where you will be treated well and not disappointed. read more

This place has a cool relaxed atmosphere, and if you are American, they can put on any sports that you like to see. It has a nice view and some of the best chicken lime soup in all of Puerto Aventuras. Most of the waitstaff speaks English and the owner is very cool. I haven't had much else than the lime soup, because it is my absolute hands -down favorite. The prices aren't bad, and it's always a good stop when you are in Puerto. read more

Wow. What a gem. My family felt like pub food and it didn't let us down. Fish and chips were very good and I was in the mood for pasta. Lasagna was unreal. Full five stars for this place. Service was fast and very friendly. Price was great for what you get. read more

Lived in PA for 3 months and ate here alot! We spend alot of time in Mexico and we think The Pub has the best chillaqilles that we've had anywhere! They also have a great stuffed problano pepper dish and giant shrimp salad that's really good. Loved their mango margaritas too! Staff is always friendly! read more

If I could give a Negative review I would. This place is a scam. Food is terrible! They promised us a table for 30 people with food, drinks, and specific space. They DID NOT DELIVER on their promise. Table wasn't ready. We had to put the chairs and tables together. other patrons were inside of the space we reserved and they wouldn't move. after repeated attempts to get them to move, and asking the owner to move them as promised, these people decided to get violent. The man in their group of 3 pushed a young lady who was trying to translate for us, then the women in their group punched this young lady. We asked the owner to remove them from the restaurant at that point, and he refused. This place is honestly the worse. I would never ever recommend them. read more

This food at this place was disgusting I ordered the beef tacos and the beef had a funny smell and was gray. The waitstaff was really nice, but what are you going to do with gray beef that's supposed to be carne asada? Saving grace is that it's super cheap. read more

Good food, oredered a pizza and shrimp salad. Both were very good. Got a large pizza so we would have something for breakfast in the morning, andvit was just as good heated up as it was last night. My only disappointment was the service. Although there eere very few people dining, there were many wait staff doing nothing and we had to wait, wait and wait for service. read more
