Protein source has been one of my favorite go to spots for healthy food for awhile. Twice this week, I've ordered via Postmates and they've forgotten my protein peanut butter balls. Last time I was here it was AMAZING this time it was not so great. Today I ordered 2 of the skinny salmon bowls ( one without tomato). The dish was described as being served atop a cauliflower mash with asparagus and cherry tomatoes and one order of the vegan Buddha bowl minus tomato. After waiting for over 40 minutes one of the workers asked if we were waiting for something. So we repeated our order and were told another 5 minutes. I left my daughter and ran to pick up another order my family had placed. When I came back, over 5 minutes later, we still stood around waiting another 3-5 minutes. Finally we received our food and immediately noticed it was not as ordered but we could not wait any longer. The Buddha bowl had a ton of tomato but after picking it out it was "ok". Nothing great, nothing horrible. The 2 salmon bowls- ugh... the salmon was flavorless. The asparagus was diced up and some was crispy and some soggy. There was a ton of halved cherry tomatoes and the cauliflower was not mashed/ purée at all. There was less cauliflower than there were asparagus stems. I eat at Protein Source probably 3-4 times a week- I have tried to like this location but every time I come here it's an issue. They have gotten my order wrong almost every time. This time I was dining in and the girl at the counter hardly acknowledged my existence, tried to take the person behind me before me, and was generally rude to me the entire time acting like my existence was such a bother to her, eye rolling and all. I'm glad I tipped 15% on an overpriced $23 omelette at Protein Source to be treated like a nuisance. At least you get actual service when you pay for your overpriced breakfast on the strip. If you're looking for a healthy option for lunch, this spot is a good choice. It's located next to LVAC (gym) and you can tell much of their clientele comes over after their work out. Great business location on their part. However this place is crazy busy and their staff clearly was having a hard time keeping up. I could feel their stress, but they were giving it their all. Good job guys! The menu provides many salad, burger and protein bowl choices, including make your own. We stood in line to order; and our order taker was very kind and warned us it would be a 20 minute wait and offered us each a muffin complimentary. It took approximately 45 minutes to get our food. However, everything was tasty and portions were large. I had the "Keto Bowl" & was very happy with my selection. They have an online order ahead option, so in the future in an effort to save time, I think that's the best way to go. read more

I'm updating this review because of the service I received today. The employees here are not very pleasant when I had to ask them for extra ingredients that were missing from my food, and things I had paid for. The funny thing is last time I came here we also had issues and were owed a free meal but I forgot until I sat down to eat. I'm really annoyed at the customer service here and the fact they they don't double check that what they give you is correct .... it's great food and healthy which is why we come here but I will gladly take my business to GREENS and PROTIENS where they treat you with respect. Specifically I was also missing the lettuce from the burger and sauce, also no extra sauce for bowl that my BF ordered as requested. Great place but sadly disappointed the last two times we came here, last time they didn't have the bread for the burger and told us as we received are food and waited 30 minutes. LOL read more

I might be biased but anytime I eat proteinhouse or greens and protein I'm always upset with the quality of the food and the flavor it's lacking. Never at protein source though the food here is BOMB! My go tos are the peanut butter whey shake, the steak lovers bowl, the bison burger, the wraps are all amazing, green bomb salad with chicken and their breakfast dishes. They make their own in house ketchup/bbq sauce for their sweet potatoes fries and it's addicting you must try it! I personally like Protein Source better than Greens and Proteins across the plaza because I think they have a nicer ambiance/atmosphere and their food just tastes better. My favorite is their Protein source signature shake with vanilla whey, such a good treat for post workout! The fillet and eggs breakfast is tasty as well. Protein source has healthy bowls, smoothies, wraps, etc... I also like their patio seating area a lot on a nice day!
