I've been a loyal customer of Rachel's Kitchen since the original locations on Town Center and over on Hualapai, and I've always appreciated the quality, energy, and overall experience your brand provides. I was genuinely excited when the new Express location opened on Durango near IKEA, as it's much closer to where I live. However, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences, as they've been consistently disappointing. The level of service at this location does not reflect what I've come to expect from Rachel's Kitchen. The staff often appear disengaged, lacking the energy and friendliness that has always set your other locations apart. In addition, the drive-thru service has been noticeably slow. More concerning, over the past few days I've attempted to place orders and have repeatedly been told that the POS system is down and that only cash is being accepted. This has been a major inconvenience and, frankly, surprising for a brand that I've always associated with consistency and reliability. Rachel's Kitchen has always been one of my go-to healthy dining options, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. This particular location feels like a disservice to the standard your other restaurants uphold. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as I would love to continue supporting Rachel's Kitchen--but there are clearly some improvements needed at this location. read more

I observe no meat Fridays during lent. I saw online this location had a couple of options. I ordered the tuna salad, but prior to placing my order I asked if there was onions in the tuna. I was told no. So I proceeded to order. When I got my order I could almost immediately smell the onions. I am allergic to onions. It would be helpful if staff would know what ingredients are in the products they sell. With a drink and tip it was a horrible waste of almost $20. I did not have time to wait for a new order of something else. Highly disappointed and no plans to return. Update 02/23.26: I must say this place has great customer service! Last week, I found a bone in my chicken salad sandwich. I contacted the restaurant to let them know, not because I was looking for anything beyond bringing the issue to their attention, but because I felt it was important for them to be aware of a potential food safety concern. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, I was left with the impression that the restaurant questioned my honesty. As a long-time customer, I found that response especially disappointing. My friend and I decided to try this spot for a casual dinner. It was 6pm on a Tuesday night and the parking lot was empty, however after we placed our order, a few other groups came in. This spot has an abbreviated menu, but still the key staples you'd want. I opted for Rachel's Grain Bowl and it was ready within 10 minutes. I knew I wouldn't finish it all, so I asked for it to be "to go" even though I was dining in. The cashier was friendly and brought our food out to the table once ready. There are a handful of tables inside and some patio seating, however I assume most people order their food to go. The grain bowl was packed with grilled chicken and had a good variety of roasted zucchini, sweet potato and red peppers. The rice and quinoa blend was really good and definitely filling, I was able to get two meals out of it. I tried the vinaigrette that came with it and it was good, but I didn't think it was necessary so I saved myself some calories. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. read more

This place is empty. My brother wanted pancakes & was so excited for them, only to get told that there are no pancakes made at this location. We sat at a table to wait & they were sticky with crumbs all over each one. The floor is dirty & the glass has hand prints all over it so it's not maintained at all. Was looking for the Rachel's Kitchen in Summerlin and found this location right around the corner. since it was near me, I decided to swing by. This location is small. It's right in front of the Hilton Hotel Suites next to the Denny's. It has a drive-thru. I wasn't really greeted right away by the three employees standing around. I picked up my takeout order of Caesar salad and watermelon juice. The salad was fresh not like a grocery store ready made salad or Wendy's Caesar solid. I loved the homemade Croutons. I honestly never leave reviews like this, but I'm at the point where I'm just exhausted and frustrated enough to say something. I've now given Rachel's Kitchen three separate attempts because I genuinely enjoy the food and want to support them, but the customer service experience continues to be disappointing. I fully understand places get busy, and I respect that completely. I'm not expecting instant service. But standing at the counter for 5+ minutes without even being acknowledged is just not okay. A simple "Hey, we'll be with you shortly" goes a long way. There was a blonde employee there a month or so ago who was excellent at this. Even when she was slammed, she always acknowledged customers and made people feel seen. That's literally all I'm asking for. They really need to do better with basic customer acknowledgment. I'd actually like to keep eating here because the food is good, but after three experiences like this, I felt compelled to finally say something. This was an awesome spot for a quick lunch near the office. The inside was spotless, although ordering was a bit confusing. It's not like most spots where you go to the end of the counter and "follow" your food as it's prepared. Instead, go directly to the register and place your order there - weird, right? I was so excited to try this place out, I've been craving a good Chinese chicken salad. I waited in the drive thru for almost 30mins. There was only 1 person infront of me, and the lobby was dead. No greeting from the speaker I had to say "hello?" 2 separate times and after 5-6mins of no response I pulled up to the window, I thought maybe the speaker wasn't working. A lady took my order at the window I asked for crispy chicken in my salad and I double checked at the end of placing my order if she got the crispy chicken, she said yes. When I finally got my food the salad had grilled chicken instead of the breaded, it had no carrots, and no scallions. I was already irritated at how long I was waiting I did not want to wait another 10mins for a correct order. I'm a little disappointed all in all, at the customer service and the way my meal was prepared. Rachel's Kitchen Express is a nice casual place for a quick dine-in and they have a drive-thru. You'll find them visibly on Sunset and Durango, next to Denny's. There's ample parking. Inside is a small space with few table seating, they do operate as counter service. Menu offers a great selection of smoothies, juices, Peet's Coffee, and iced tea. There's option for a healthy breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, salads and grain bowls. Any item can be made as a combo, which comes with fries, soup, or fruit, and a medium drink. I love Rachel's Chicken Salad ($7.50) on sprouted multigrain bread, it's very good! Chicken is tender and the salad has a delightful crunch from apples, celery root, and there's a lovely sweetness from grapes. Tomato Basil Soup is delicious and comforting, and they have Chicken Tortilla Soup too! For beverage, they make their own freshly brewed tea and handcrafted lemonade. I did a blend of Organic Brewed Green Tea with Beet Lemonade, very refreshing! The drink paired so nicely with the sandwich, along with Chocolate Chip Cookie ($2) which is housemade and yummy! They also have Fresh fruit cup and Greek yogurt parfait. Pecan bar ($4) and Lemon bar ($4) are sourced from a local vendor. Wonderful service from Crystal and the owner JL is very kind. Food here is fresh, healthy, and delicious. It's a very welcoming atmosphere with really good music. I go to school down the street from here and wanted a quick brunch to eat. Upon entering I saw that it was very busy as it was about 11am. When I went to order the cashier was very kind, friendly, and patient as I chose from their menu. She even recommended I made my sandwich a combo with one of their sides and a drink. I was glad when I opted for the combo because their sweet potato tots were amazing! It had the perfect sweet to saltiness ratio. As for the sandwich it was great as well. The tuna was very fresh and flavorful. They are also very generous with the portion of tuna they provided. The dining area was quite full but I managed to find a table to sit at. Despite the business and many customers, they did a great job at maintaining the cleanliness of the tables. It was a bit loud but it's expected since there were lots of people there. Overall I really enjoyed this place. The service was so fast and the employees were very friendly. The atmosphere was clean as well. I used to love Rachel's grilled cheese. It was my granddaughter's big day. Enjoy it I was so disappointed. I saw the woman not only take my order not understand what I was saying. I watched her also make my order in a microwave. I got a grilled cheese with sweet potato sweet potato fries were so mushy and the grilled cheese was grilled on one side put microwave and cut. It was awful wasn't impressed won't go back and I feel bad about I used to enjoy eating at Rachel's kitchen.
