After arriving to 46, we were able to sample 4 different specialty drinks and choose one of them. And seated at our table. If you're a party less than 4. You will be joined with another party. Initially, it may feel awkward however after the icebreaker. It works! They have a nice food menus. The dates and burger were delicious! Besides the speciality drinks they also have a full bar so I opted for a regular old fashioned and it was delish! Since the speakeasy can hold a max of 16 ppl, service was superb and attentive. Pricing was reasonable for what it is. Note: service charge (tip) is included. I wish they would have told me. It was dark and I didn't have my glasses. Also after 2 drinks.... I added another 20% on top of that. I didn't even notice until I got home. But what is done is done. Would I return? yes! We enjoyed it so much. We have already recommended so many people and they have gone and enjoyed it as well!!

When making reservations a $25 deposit is required per person but will be applied to your bill day of visit. The hostess was very kind upon check in and took us to the back where the 46 door is. She provided us a code and explained the time limit along with house rules. We were then told to knock on the door and proceed with the experience. Kudos to the owner as this is the only speakeasy in the OC that has a true speakeasy feel entrance. They had a gentleman open the peephole and ask for the entry code. Once we said the code we entered a really cool mine shaft area. The attention to detail was on point and I was impressed! We were then taken upstairs to a private bar where there are four tables of four so a max of 16. This makes sense as to why reservations are hard to come by. The only ding about seating is you are sat with strangers it is not a private table. Luckily we had a fun older couple at our table so it made the conversation more lively. Otherwise don't go here with an expectation of an intimate/ private date night. They also offer a limited food menu but looked very promising. However, we were here for a night cap so just dabbled in drinks. The bartender had a seasonal menu of 4 cocktails he created. He explained the drinks and then had us try each one with a straw. We then placed our order based on what we liked. He did say if we were not a fan he could create us our own personal cocktail as well. The old fashion he created was phenomenal! Overall, a cool little spot in the OC. Do wish they were open later as they do close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

We truly honestly regret selecting this restaurant to host such "intimate" dinner to say the least. The "' private rooms " aren't even private ... we were sat infront of a big party which I think they were hosting a mad hatter event at the time and they kept the curtains wide open for many passing customers to pry at us and it was a very uncomfortable ( found out that the bathrooms are right next door at that ) experience . I was under the impression that the word private ment curtains will be closed private . I'm not sure if it's because the party was " too small " to even treat it as a courtesy event but omg ? Ambiance was not fit for us & There's truly no excuse for it . We even requested to have curtains closed but he just undid the rope ever so slightly still having us in full display . We had this server which I unfortunately didn't get her name all I could remember was her high slicked bun and her loud practically screaming voice . It was all our first time here so we were looking at the menu to figure out what we'd like to order but this lady kept rushing us not allowing the table to coordinate our orders for a smooth process I mean it's 10 of us. So that was just a mess to order. We all put in our orders for drinks first to allow us to look at the menu since she kept being pushy like she didn't even get 2 of our guests drink order in either ?? So we had to wait until she came back which took a very long time .... Once some drinks came back to us one of the servers SPILLED some the of the drink on one of our guests dress ! And all over the table . It's truly so embarrassing to experience this in general as a person and a customer let alone someone that is celebrating a special event. The food and drink were decent but I truthfully think the experience overshadowed the actual enjoyment of the food and drinks. Once we had our food the waitress popped in at very long sparse times to yell out if we were okay in the middle of our dinner which honestly most of us grew irritated by it because there's absolutely no need to scream at us while we are eating ....our guest honestly felt uncomfortable to order because there was already that drink mishap and just the poor service overall . There was a point where a server came in to set down the food and practically tossed it on the table& made a comment about the amount of food one of our guest had ordered ? Like are we missing proper serving etiquette at this point ? If I could have a do over I wouldn't select this place for events like that . Maybe a casual dinner but if that was the case maybe I should've just opt for chilis for better service honestly because this wasn't it . We had brought a small cake to cut and she would come in at times just to yell out " cmon now everyone it's a celebration " like please read the room. If you're like me trying to host a small dinner for a special celebration don't do it here. If the automated gratuity wasn't in place I don't even think a tip was worth it.

The venue features numerous screens throughout, making it a great place to catch all your favorite local teams--especially during playoff season. The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming, perfect for fans and families alike. I'm there most often for the live music. Harry, the owner, does a fantastic job booking a wide variety of bands, particularly on weekends--that's usually when my group and I head over. There's a spacious dance floor, and it's always a fun night for everyone who attends. The food is excellent with a solid variety of options, though I'd still love to see a big, classic hot dog added to the menu someday (hint, hint, Harry!). The service is consistently great, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend stopping by to catch a game or check out a local band on the weekend.

Save your time and money. GO ELSEWHERE!…read more I rarely write reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. We came in with a valid coupon--not expired, nothing shady--and were flat-out refused. No reasonable explanation, no attempt to make it right, just a dismissive "we're not honoring that." For the record, we ordered two margaritas, a fountain drink an appetizer and split a taco plate. The coupon was for a free appetizer. After presenting the bill the manager stated they cannot honor the coupon because the appetizer was more than the tacos (the appetizer being tater tots, that I ADDED $7.00 carne asada to.) I asked if they could just take the tater tots off or even just take the tacos off if it were a price issue. They refused. Made no attempt to make the situation right. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to making up for it. Everything tasted bland, poorly prepared, and overpriced for the quality. It honestly felt like zero care went into what was served. The drinks from the bar weren't any better--weak, unbalanced, and not even close to what you'd expect from a "Sports bar" What really sealed the deal was the manager's attitude. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he came across as dismissive and uninterested. No accountability, no customer service--just a shrug and a bad vibe. Overall, this place misses the mark on every level: food, drinks, and integrity. There are too many good restaurants out there to waste time and money on one that doesn't respect its own customers. So many restaurants going out of business locally it's sad, but with events like this, it makes sense. Value the customer. Take pride in serving your community.

There were a lot of locals that elevated the hometown feel. As a first timer- things to think about: Bar area is first come first serve and it gets crowded. If loud spaces aren't your thing, the patio or restaurant side might be a better option. With that said, during busy game days, be prepared to wait or move quickly to snag a table. The portions are definitely shareable. The grilled veggie sandwich had amazing flavor, but it was messy. The bread, made in house, was soft, light, and had great quintessential sourdough flavor which partied really well with the grilled vegetables. The pickles were thick cut chips that came out hot and perfectly fried. The bakery had some really gorgeously delicious items Making the choice to try a new place was such a win today. They have a happy hour weekdays from 2pm to 5pm, taco Tuesdays, and other specials on different days of the week. There is always plenty of parking and a good sized lot that is shared with several other businesses. Seating options include the main dining room, at the bar, or a small patio out front. We sat in the dining room on the booth half of a half-booth/half-table along the wall. We were greeted by our server Rosie who started us out with complementary chips and salsa. We got to talking about chips and salsa, and she mentioned they actually have several salsas and she proceeded to bring us out a great spread of all their salsas. All of the salsas were very flavorful with various heat levels. My favorites were the creamy avocado and salsa verde. Both the red salsa and especially the habanero red salsa packed the heat. The chips were also good, and we went thru a few baskets. For entrees, we both ordered the plate of three street tacos ($12.99). They have a wide selection of proteins and fillings which you can mix and match including al pastor, asada, birria, carnitas, chicken, chorizo, tripa, potato, fajita veggies, fish, shrimp, and soyrizo. You can also choose from regular tortillas or handmade tortillas for a little extra. I decided to try some of the meats and ordered asada, al pastor, and carnitas for my three street tacos. They come with a good amount of protein, and are topped with onion and cilantro. The plate also comes with sliced radishes and a slice of lime for each taco. They were all good, but the asada was my favorite. She was happy to see they had soyrizo as an option, and she ordered one potato taco and two soyrizo tacos. She enjoyed her tacos also. The food was great, and Rosie was the icing on the cake. She was so friendly and hospitable. She even sent us home with chips and four small containers of all the salsas. A really great server goes a long way in building a positive reputation for a restaurant. We haven't returned to dine-in yet, but I have picked up tacos and chips and salsa to bring home several times, and the staff is always friendly. I always ask for all four salsas to go with the chips, and they are always happy to oblige.

It was our first time there and this was disclosed to our waitress ( I didn't catch her name but as description goes she had brown hair, septum piercing , morning glory tattoo) and Our waitress kept calling us dude??? Not sure what that's about but I guess most of their employees don't really have proper serving or customer service etiquette to start. Idk the vibes were off to begin with we had asked to sit outside because everybody was lowkey sardined in there . So it was nice to have the option to sit out there . The menu was confusing like why am I looking at brunch menu mixed with non brunch menu items ? Honestly don't understand the point of the appetizer section when they're priced at entree fees ... $32 for appetizers is NUTS . We tried the taquitos (birria) and they brought out chicken taquitos ... which wasn't something I was all that bothered by because the guy was apologetic about it but it's like idk maybe if our initial waitress took notes instead of rushing us they probs would've gotten it right but I digress ... We got a margarita flight and it was probably the most disgusting thing ever . Tasted like flavored simple syrup mixed with hand sanitizer . The presentation was cute I guess but the taste did not add up . ( only ate the gummies tbh) which we kinda forced ourselves to drink bc $$$ & after I asked for a ginger ale which tasted FUNKY . I was basically parched the whole time. My friend got the Birria taco , she said it was too salty & the consume was definitely lacking some sort of flavor. I'm sure there's other stuff on the menu that is good but I can't justify coming back to experience to such sh**y service it's just not worth it but I also think but because I came in for tacos Tuesday the Baja tacos were $8 I guess it's the only thing that was " worth it". I don't like to be that guy sending everything back and being complicated so that's why I'm here writing this .
