I luckily found Tom Simko and his sons (a family-owned business) after discovering a longstanding and very serious leak from a pipe in my wall. The walls in my kitchen and living room on one entire side of my house had to be torn out, dried out, and closed up. They handled the restoration of my walls being sure to match the wall texture and paint color. In the process, they added electrical outlets, installed a built-in fireplace, and hung a new tv. They left my house looking much better than it did before the leak. Mr Simko is also talented at designing interiors. His 2 sons did all the restoration work. In 2 days, they were in and out. I can't say enough about the quality of the work. They are focused, serious, highly skilled, well- mannered hard-workers. They showed-up and stopped on time, they were organized, they paid a lot of attention to detail and cleaned up afterwards each day they were there. I found them to be communicative, helpful and respectful of me and my property. Just basically good people you feel totally comfortable having in your home. Update: I've received 17 emails from Yelp of all the random comments the owner had left on this review. It's been a week and he's still dwelling on. So glad I didn't do business with him because as I suspected, he seems unstable. Be careful who you let into your home. I wrote this business requesting a quote for a couple of issues and requested to be contacted back. I got a very strange email back that night saying "chat in morning". Then the next morning I get an email berating me for my voicemail greeting. He said that he would not do business with me because the voicemail was weird. My voicemail just says to text instead of leave a voicemail. I don't think that's so weird. I would stay away from this guy he seems unbalanced. Gave me the foreman's name that would be in my area, Ronnie, and I left him a message. Recently, Thomas came out to my house to bid on a small kitchen project to demo the existing island counter-top area. As we went through what he would do he would totally disregard any of my concerns or input on what I thought needed to be done. He pretty much had it all figured out! Thomas and crew did a fantastic job remodeling a media room wall in our house. The old wall contained bulky, out of date "caves" that were useless and unsightly for present day. Thomas and crew did a professional, quick and clean demolition of old wall. They completed a perfect remodel with drywall, texture and paint and electrical that left us with exactly the room area we wanted. Thomas took the time to talk with us during the process to ensure the work being done was what we wanted. Thomas and crew took special care of our house during the work. Update: I figured I should add more detail to this review, as the buisness owner appears to prefer attacking people rather than try and improve customer service. I found this buisness through Yelp in hopes of fixing a problem I had with a base plate water rot on a bedroom wall and adjacent closet wall. The reviews and pictures looked promising so I gave them a call. The owner was prompt to call me back. As I state before, the communication was timely with short conversations, but confusing at times. We schedule an appointment time and he came and gave his evaluation. The only suggestion he gave was to cover up the plates as the probably won't fail within the time I live at the property. This was his opinion that he offered it for $150 without other options. This didn't solve my original problem that I called about so I paid him and moved on. He called me multiple time to tell me why he thought his conclusion was the best option. His supporting thought process I am sure would work for some. I was also offered a $70 credit towards future repairs. Since paying him $150 hadn't repaired anything, that sounded like something that wasn't helpful to me. I am sure he has been helpful to others, I can only comment on my experience though. Charged $150 for a 5 minute evaluation. Buisness communicated promptly, but the discussions were scattered and confusing at times.
