We used Andy and his incredible staff for the second time. This time was for our daughter and son-in-law's Octoberfest themed baby shower. We requested a German menu, not knowing what it might include. Andy BLEW US AWAY with his choice of items (including giant soft baked pretzels, bratwurst, sauerkraut, chicken schnitzel and many more delicious dishes. We had a party of 60 and the food was prepared perfectly in our kitchen and served hot and fresh. Our guests loved everything, they all said it was the best food they've had! We just had Chef Andy from The Private Chefs come and cook a yummy private dinner for our group and it was a wonderful experience! Andy is so easy going and he works with accommodating the guests arrival and serving the meal. He has a delicious spin on classics that are mouth watering yum. He chooses organic clean food and ethically raised animals, eggs and cheese when possible. He makes his dressings, sauces and salsa with many ingredients that add layers of flavor! What an incredible meal!! We had Chef Andy and his team create a dinner for our parents anniversary. It was by far the best meal of our trip. Andy was so accommodating to our various dietary needs as well as super responsive and so easy to work with. He is a true master of his craft. Kristen was very professional, as was Andy, prior to our wine pairing, four course, dinner party. This was honestly one of the most memorable experiences of our life. Chef Andy and his crew not only wowed us but also wowed our friends. The food he created was better in both quality and quantity than anything we could have imagined, and the presentation was flawless. His server April kept all the glasses filled and cleared plates quickly and with a smile. All dishes were done, and they left the house in cleaner condition than when they started. The stress of party planning was completely unloaded off of our shoulders, and they did this all within a reasonable budget that was agreed on prior, with really no hidden fees. Andy was even able to make quick accommodations for vegetarian and dairy-free friends. The highlight of the evening for me was when Andy presented the rack of lamb, and two of my friends just smiled and gave each other a high five without saying a word. I would use Andy and the Private Chefs again without reservation, especially if we're looking for an intimate, personalized dinner that is a step up from going to a restaurant, at a similar or even more affordable price point. read more

First off, the food was delicious and it seemed like everyone was going for 2nds and even 3rds. But what I also liked was how professional and organized they were. Andy's team was prompt to arrive and create a beautiful arrangement fit for my grandparents special day. Hired Andy to help my husband and I revamp the menu at our restaurant. It was about a month before opening and Andy was able to get us the recipes and flavors exactly to what we wanted. We had a bunch of ideas and Andy was able to guide us and narrow down what really worked for us (and flavor wise) he was Very patient, VERY knowledgeable. I'm giving him and his team 5 stars and I honestly don't have anything negative to say. He was friendly and efficient, within a few days I had what I needed and was prepared for my re-opening day. His price was fair, I am a true believer in "you get what you pay for you", and it was definitely a good investment choice for us (it payed for itself and more!) Chef Andy was very accommodating and had tons of great ideas for food, especially since I'm not very creative when coming up with ideas for parties like this. He served an heirloom tomato salad that was so fresh and delicious and a Peruvian style roasted chicken that was probably one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. Andy and his team catered our wedding in September 2016. We were on a specific budget but also wanted a high quality menu. Andy prepared a beautiful buffet menu including horseradish seared wild Ahi tuna with charred chiu ponzu, prime rib of beef with cognac au jus, baked penne alfredo with oregano and sundried tomato, yukon mashed potatoes with fontina, scallions and rosemary, and more. I had many of our close to 200 guests tell us that it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. He also arranged our cocktail hour hor d' oeuvres and even worked with a bakery for our dessert table. My husband and I both have very busy work schedules, so later when we found out his team does meal prep we hired them to prepare several weekly dinners and daily lunch for us. We have been doing this the last 6 months and it has made our lives so much easier, not to mention the food is healthy and delicious. My family and I were delighted with an amazing meal prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Najpauer this past August. Our main course: braised pasture beef pot roast with smoked Fontina grits, roasted baby vegetables and Chianti reduction. Not only does it sound amazing to read...let me tell you ...it was absolutely delicious! The meat just melted in my mouth, very flavorful and the portions were generous. Recently my husband and I attended a pop up restaurant hosted by The Private Chefs. This was our first time experiencing a "pop up restaurant" type event and so we were unsure of what to expect. Upon arriving we were greeted with champagne and some delicious appetizers. As we were seated we were promptly served our first course paired with a complimentary wine. Each course that came out followed the same suit with a wine to compliment. The timing of the service and the presentation was perfect. Not to mention, the quality and taste of EVERY course! There was a beet salad, a Mac n cheese cup, a filet of sunfish with veggies and short ribs with polenta. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh and blended so well into the next course; not to mention the last course the most delectable berry-chocolatey dessert I have ever had! This meal was absolutely worth 5 stars and upon meeting Chef Andy I understood why. His passion for creating and serving gourmet meals is very apparent! Andy and the crew at The Private Chefs are AMAZING! They did an incredible job at my 40th birthday party back in November (see my previous review), and recently they handled a large baby shower for us. They created the menu with my (limited) input and it was simply delicious. They came early and set up an beautiful buffet, then had a whole team stay to prepare the wonderfully fresh food, cook what was needed, pass out sandwiches and clean up afterward. At my request, they brought a wonderful bartender who stayed even after the shower should have ended to serve the guests drink (and she also continued to help clean up). They make delicious food, but also go way above and beyond in preparation, presentation and cleanup. Andy and The Private Chefs will continue to be our go-to for any parties we have! read more
