They also installed a front porch railing to assist my mom in ascending her porch steps. She loved the work. Recently, after the heavy snows this year, the deck started peeling up in spots. This was also possibly due to her dog repeatedly urinating on it in the winter. Contacted Skyler and they did an amazing job on sanding and cleaning it up as well as resealing it. Scott Miner came out gave me a very reasonable estimate and even being a busy time for them worked me in soon after. I could not have been more impressed by their installers talent and precision. Fantastic Custom Basement Finishing…read more I am delighted with the wonderful job J. Jones Busy Bee Construction did finishing my basement. The owner, Jim Jones, has excellent construction skills; the framing he did is the best I have seen. He used top quality lumber and other materials and had great suggestions as the project progressed. He designed and built a bench across the entire length of the basement wall to cover the ugly concrete foundation which added space to display art and a place to sit under the windows. Another feature he suggested was a "pony wall" that gave the basement more privacy, created a great mud room next to the basement door, and provided stability to the floor above. Jim Jones was able to accommodate all my special requests including sound insulation between the basement roof and floor above, recessed lighting with dimmer switches, and a hot tub room. The completed basement turned out substantially better than my original plan. If you are looking for high quality construction, using the best materials, by a master craftsman, I highly recommend Jim Jones and his company J. Jones Busy Bee Construction.
