Would've lost thousands in deductions due to this pathetic handling of a new client. We have reached out SO many times (phone and email) and they have yet to resolve this issue. We haven't rushed them... it's been FOUR years. Jake has never once responded to a phone call, email, or messages from the administration printing and passing this information along to him. STEER CLEAR OF JB ACCOUNTING. Not making a payment as promised is as good as stealing money from their clients. $400 may not be much to them, but if they are doing this to more clients than just us- it certainly would add up.

We tried so many times to call and ask questions and get ahold of Craig or his office any they dodge every single call, text, voicemail and email. 2. He lost our tax documents. After talking about our places of work and giving him our W4 tax papers he lost these and didn't file them in our 2018 filing. Fast forward a year later the IRS sends a bill for almost $2000 since he lost multiple W4's and failed to file correctly. 3. We filed our business as well with Craig before the tax deadline and he didn't turn it in on time. The IRS sent us a bill for $800+ for late charges. We tried contacting the office and Craig and they would not answer. We had to contact the IRS and after pleading with them we got a one time "get out of jail free card" that they said we would not be issued for 10 years (meaning you only get one of those every 10 years.). We called and left his office a message about what happened and how they didn't file on time and they never got back with us. 4. After looking over his notes from our last years return, we found that our refund was off by $50. We called him a week after we had received our incorrect refund and he wouldn't answer or call back. 5. He took weeks to call back after originally meeting with him to tell us if we owed or were getting a refund. 6. He was super judgey about where we worked and if we made enough money or if we were going to do so the next year. Please, please choose to file somewhere else if you want yours done correctly, professionally, on time and if you want any communication at all. 0 out of 5 star rating for you Craig Curtis.

We needed his help because we had an LLC for a few years and went with him because of a friend's recommendation. In the meeting you have with him at first he's nice, friendly and personable. HOWEVER once you leave that dinky house he calls a business/office you will never hear back from him ever again. We have gotten multiple letters from the IRS that our teaches were filed incorrectly and despite emails, texts and phone calls we can never get a hold of him. When he DOES magically decide to answer he says he'll clear it up only to get MORE letters in the mail from IRS saying that something else is wrong. He has cost us THOUSANDS in faulty payments, late fees and incorrect filings with the IRS. AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE!
