This is our place for local hot-baked Pretzels. If you go when a fresh batch is being pulled out of the oven, it is wonderful. They go stale very quickly so eat them right away. The place is kinda "grungy: looing but the owner is great and it's basically and oven and a counter. Now I want a pretzel. Or 3. Or sticks. Or a cheese-pretzel-dog. Yum! read more

Have driven past a million times, and recently popped in a few times and have had such lovely experiences. The owner is friendly, personable and his team is top notch. The pretzels are delicious and perfect, and even on a busy day - like, for example, 5 hours before kickoff of the Super Bowl, we were able to pop in, snag 8 hot pretzels and be on our way in moments. Holy cow this place is amazing! I can't believe no one else has written about this place yet, cuz every time I'm here, there are at least 2-3 other customers as well! It's the corner shop located in a little strip mall area. Once you step inside you are just bashed over the head with the delicious smells of fresh pretzels! Every time I'm in Philly, I have to bring home at least a half dozen of these pretzels back home to Seattle for the family. This time I decided to go for a whole dozen ($7.25). The pretzels are always fresh and warm since they cook them right in the store. They also have a whole bunch of other options like pretzel dogs and mini pups (little sticks of pretzels basically) with a variety of dipping sauces. Love these pretzels! Pros: - Soft, Philly style pretzels - Tons of parking - Quick service - Pretzels have always been fresh and hot every time I have had them here Cons: - I feel like they put a ton of salt on their pretzels, but you can always brush them off :D Why I gave it a 5..... Awful. We came here because I really wanted a pretzel. I love Philly Pretzel Co. but they are much further. I hate Wawa pretzels so I tried here. As much as I hate wawa pretzels...they're better than these. That's pretty bad. They are soooooooo doughy. This seems to be a common theme among all of these reviews so you would think the owner would take it into consideration at some point. I guess not. They are pretty expensive and have random prices. Something like 2 for $2.45 and 4 for $3.85. I don't even remember but they were random prices and not cheap. We asked the kid behind the counter for the dark pretzels on the end. He told us "no problem." When my mom asked if it annoys him that people are likely to do that pretty frequently he told us it didn't bother him. Once we got in the car and ate our pretzels we realized why it doesn't bother him...because he totally ignored us and gave us whatever pretzels he wanted! There are three types of mustard available in large pump-able containers and to go containers right next to them. Fountain soda is available. Lots of parking. Small walk-in location. Probably the worst pretzel I've had in my life. I won't be back. read more

Went here to grab pretzels for an event and was happily surprised at both the price and the product. Perfectly salted (as a pretzel should be) and well within our grassroots budget. I got soft pretzels here 2 years ago; my recollection was that I enjoyed those. So, I returned yesterday to find that their product is mediocre (at best) or, at least, inconsistent. I know I can find better elsewhere and consequently won't return. read more

Its just hit or miss here. You really cant eat the entire pretzel the center is under cooked while the ends are ok. And $1.83 for two pretzels is a rip off. And the hot mustard tasted bad. The container looked as nasty as the mustard tasted. And looking at the other reviews the under cooked issues i had are common here. I wont waste my time or money here again. Bernie's pretzels in Aldan are less money an alot better. Even philly pretzel co is better and there not that good. Don't know how these jokers stay in business!! read more

Their pretzels are the best around...my entire family agrees they are so much better than any of the other alternatives. Best taste and best consistency. I get pretzels here probably 10-15 times a year and their product is consistent. They never have the bad/burnt taste from where the pretzels touch the grill. I drop by this store every time I'm in the area since I live too far away to make a trip just to get a pretzel. If you don't like doughy, then just get the darker ones. read more

The pretzels here are average at best. Sometimes overcooked and crunchy, sometimes undercooked and gooey, rarely just right. Then there are the three containers of different mustards with no labels. The man working there, who I believe is the owner/manager, was very unprofessional and rude. However, he seemed to be very pleasant and affable towards the attractive young lady he helped before me. I will not be going back, and I think you'd be better off getting your pretzels elsewhere as well. read more

I went here after hearing such a sparkling review, when I entered the store the aroma of fresh pretzels were magnificent and could not wait to sink my teeth in them. I had went up to the pleasant woman and asked for several different types of pretzels, but each one I had mentioned she had already ran out of so then I had ordered a half dozen pretzels, to my delight , the pretzels were warm just as it came out of the pretzel warmer. The pretzel prices are a bit higher than average but not enough to differentiate, as I headed back to home, I had chance to finally take a bite of the pretzel, it was fresh alright, but also RAW! I could not believe it, my first pretzel raw and so gooey in the inside it actually smudged between my fingers. I thought to myself, "Maybe it's just THAT pretzel", then the next piece I had broken came from the second pretzel, it was also too undercooked and was furious to waste money on RAW pretzels! Only 2 out of the half dozen was actually cooked, this will be my first and last time ever coming back here, I would rather much go to philly pretzel factory for some decent pretzels next time. read more
