The Preserve was a perfect place for my 40th birthday celebration! The space is intimate and also has plenty of room. Next time I just need to make sure to add more time for the set up, but that's on me. They have WiFi that is easily accessible and a speaker you can connect to. My birthday was in June and it's always HOT so the AC was perfection. Sammy was always kind and prompt to reply through the process. I am a plant lover and chose a plant theme for my birthday so this was magical. My friends and family loved the space and had an amazing time. I highly recommend this venue!

We rented this venue space for our engagement party in August 2024 and loved this plant shop venue! The space allowed us to comfortably host up to 30 guests. I liked that this was a place where we would bring all our own food & drinks making it very customizable. I came across this spot online and booked with them through the website. There were a few email exchanges and I was able to secure the date and time about two months ahead and we also booked a tour to see the space in person. My favorite parts of the venue are the plants and decor, allowing us to not have to worry as much about spending on decor since the place was already spruced up. The counter area they had was also great for setting up our mimosa bar, charcuterie boards, and cake. The venue came with 3 wooden tables (2 long ones and 1 medium/small one) we used one long one for seating with stools that were provided, and we used another table as our food and appetizers, and the last small table as our bar/drinks area. Many of our guests complimented the venue space and set up. The only downside is that the bathroom is a little far. The venue is on the first floor and you have to take an elevator to the third floor navigate a little bit to the restroom. Other than that, we didn't have any complaints and are really happy we decided to have our celebration at the preserve!

Literally the cutest space to rent for your small event! I photographed a 1st birthday party here and it was the sweetest time with their closest friends and family. Can't wait to be back here for future events!

Absolutely perfect space for our small baby shower event. Communication was timely, airy space was well appointed & tidy (just set up and go), lovely & bright decor didn't require much decorating. Highly recommend!

Had to visit this pop up in downtown San Jose! Street parking is available but also parking at Whole Foods Market across the street. You won't miss this hidden gem since it's adjacent to an apartment complex. Great thing was that the doors were wide open, very welcoming and inviting to start. Enter into a space of greenery and minimalism. Despite it being in its soft opening stages, Preserve makes a huge difference in bringing plant lovers and cultivating a healthy relationship with the planter and the planted! Variety of plants to see with vibrant colors, books to educate yourself and that green thumb, and accessories to equip yourself for the better for planting needs. This entire space is instagrammable, and thank you to Andi for her cordial service and plant expertise! :) Can't wait to come again and see the new plant babies!

I booked the venue a few weeks in advance on a Saturday night between 6:30pm - 9:30pm, with the option to extend our end time if desired. This venue was perfect for the engagement proposal I planned out, the windows are hard to see through from the outside and there is an apartment complex above the venue, so it was the perfect cover! (She thought we were going to a friends birthday party pre-game) The venue comfortably fit the 30 guests I had invited, and had ample room for food and drink, not to mention wonderful plant vibes. Would recommend to those looking to celebrate an event in an intimate space!

I hosted my birthday party here and have nothing but good things to say. Booking was easy (thanks Sammy for answering all my questions) and the event space proposal provided prior to booking was very helpful. I had to make some changes prior to the party and they were very accommodating. The point of contact for the day of, Chay, sent me additional info (i.e bathroom code) and checked in with me before/after the party and Toni, who opened/closed with us, was the sweetest. As for the space itself, it is super aesthetic! The walls are pink with shelves filled with ceramics and there are plants hugging the corners of the room and adorning the hanging fixture above the bar area. We opted to add on the lace table cloth for the tables and my cousin decorated them with flowers and candles...loved it! My favorite part of the venue would be the bar area, which I utilized as a dessert station/mimosa bar. With my party size, I had enough room to fit 4 cocktail tables we got from a rental company and also had space dedicated to taking photos with my guests. I think this is the perfect event space for a small party (30 people); it's definitely an unexpected gem nestled in the busy streets of DTSJ. Parking wasn't an issue for my guests and a Whole Foods is conveniently located right across in case you need last minute items. I would highly recommend booking here!

I was looking for a place to host my mom's 60th birthday party and came across this space from a TikTok! I'm so thankful that I did. I booked the venue about one month before my event and was able to tour the space beforehand. It was a beautiful venue that's already naturally decorated with all the plants and greenery so I didn't have to do too much with decor. The bar area was great for drinks and dessert display. They provide you with 2 dining tables and stools for 22 guests and 1 additional table which I used for food dispaly. You are free to arrange the furniture to your liking and bring your own food and drinks. There is guest parking available in the parking garage next door. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the bathrooms were located on the 3rd floor so you need to take the elevator to get to the bathroom. The event coordinator was very prompt in both letting us start our event on time but also ending on time. Their team came back exactly at the end time. Cleanup was very simple for us all we had to do was bag our trash and they took care of the rest which was amazing. I would definitely love to host another event here!

The Preserve just opened their pop-up location in DTSJ! It's located in an apartment complex right across from Whole Foods. There's street parking and in WF's lot. There's a really pretty minimalistic, clean aesthetic to the store. It's very instagramable! As a plant enthusiast, something I appreciate about the Preserve is the unique vases (similar to what you'd see in Lonefox's or Megan Batoon's home styling videos on YouTube). I also really loved the propagation station. They have a lot of common plants such as young monstera deliciosa, monstera adisoni, money trees, money plants, prayer plants, pothos, and more. I picked up a monstera deliciosa for $13. It was healthy and growing new leaves. My friend named it Monica for me so I'm happy to take Monica the Monstera home! It came with a little care card. Shoutout to Andi for her friendly service! It made the experience a delight.

I reserved The Preserve for my bestfriend's Bridal Shower, and it was PERFECT. The owners/staff were so friendly and supportive both before the event and during. My favorite parts of this shop are 1) it's already decorated (basically)!!! Saved us so much time and money from extra decor, 2) the walls are PINK which is what we wanted for our theme, 3) the front doors allowed for easy air flow, 4) they provided a Bluetooth speaker on site with the WiFi info posted for everyone, and 5) parking was easy and stress free!! (: the venue is aesthetically pleasing, 100%. I definitely recommend this venue for others hosting smaller bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, etc.

Chill, cute, chic little plant shop! Perfect place to shop if you're introverted like me and don't like to talk to people. Staff is there to assist with any plant questions/ concerns you may have but don't hover around you as you browse. Plants are well worth the price and always in the healthiest conditions. They also have the best ceramic pots of you're looking for that clean modern look.

Absolutely love the Preserve! I found out about them last year when they were started in pop up shops. I bought a golden pothos and in the year I had it, it thrived!! It grew to over 6ft in length and was my healthiest plant. When I heard they're opening their own store, I was so excited! Everything is absolutely stunning, their plant pots were so beautiful, and they had a great selection of plants--all of which that looked healthy and clean. I purchased a calathea orbifolia and it's soo pretty. The aesthetics is definitely *chef's kiss* and I can't wait to come back. Next time I'll ditch the husband at home

We don't have a kitchen in the space, but there is a shared kitchen on the third floor w/ the building.

Is your San Jose location exclusive for private events now? More than once, yelp, your site, and Instagram indicate the store is open although upon arrival there's a sign saying it's closed for a private event.

There were different package options but I was pleased with my package. My package included the Photobooth option but I declined so I could purchase on my own, unfortunately I wasn't successful in securing a Photobooth. I reached out and notified them two days prior to my event asking to follow through with providing the Photobooth that was included. I got a reply within a couple of minutes that it was not a problem and would be provided. A lot of stress was lifted off my shoulders thanks to the Regal Event Venue. The venues restrooms were very clean and as my teen described as aesthetically pleasing. My favorite part of the venue were the chairs!!!! They made my party look more elegant. Our event was a sweet 16 and the head count was a 120 people. I will say Karen was so helpful and attentive to our needs through text. A lot of my guest reached out to me the next day stating they weren't able to secure their photos and I reached out to Karen directly and she provided me with the entire album of my guest from the Photobooth. Again , provided amazing service even after the event. I would definitely book again! Also , they connected me with a mobile bartending service and they were absolutely amazing!!!!

Birthday girl had a great time exploring, playing and eating. The team were so easy to work with from the email correspondence on my Cinnamoroll themed table vision to day of set up. The staff were super quick & accommodating when they were assisting me with the set up. They helped me string up and put a HBD banner and set up my little one's high chair and way more like help bring stuff in, stock the drink fridge, set out the pastries, etc. They just knew what to do & did it straight away. I was amazed by the speed and professionalism! If only I had this level of set up at every birthday party. Barely any dictation or answering questions was needed. What a hugeeee lift off the mental load! There's a dedicated drink fridge in front of the register that kept our drinks chilled and easy for guests to grab. The food table is nice and long so it held a lot of food & we had A LOTT of food. We opted for the photo package too which was nice because usually being the host means you're too busy to take photos and get photos taken of your family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your little one's special event! I only wish that this place was bigger so that we could invite more friends to our event. There were plenty of toys to go around that the kids were not trying to take things from one another. With that being said, even in its current state it's still worthwhile coming if you have small children!

Their buffet was of fast food fare. There were grilled cheese quesadillas, simple beef burgers and fries. Seriously!!! OMG!!! If I wanted fast food fare like this, I would go to el Pollo Loco or Carls Jr. for better fast food and still pay much less. All I did at the event mostly was sit around and play with my phone. I did talk with a few other people who attended this event who told me the previous work shop event held by Poshmark was not that great either and the food was mediocre. Sure, Poshmark could have done better. There could have been interactive activities like a scavenger hunt event to win prizes and other contests, there could have been guest speakers, and free goody bags for participants. Gee, I am not even an event coordinator and know how this event could have been better! But I found the buffet to be the most disappointing. Sure, Poshmark perhaps chose the menu but it also reflects on the restaurant/event venue. After all, this is supposedly an ultra high end restaurant/event venue with the ambience to match. But the food was not worth the $70 ticket. And, sitting around with not much more to do but over indulge on fast food, talk with others in a noisy venue, and sit around fiddling with my phone was not fun for me. It was the first time my sweetie and I ever went to this restaurant/event venue and it was a let down. We may have got an inaccurate first impression of this place. I would think the general menu for this place must be better then the food that was catered at this event. I would think other events held here would have better buffets with a carving station, a salad bar, a snack bar and more (but for much less than $70 to attend). But surely other events that charge attendance here would have been better than the one we attended here. We did not find coming to this restaurant/event venue memorable. We will not be coming back to this restaurant /event venue nor ever come to another $70 Poshmark event like the one held here. It was disappointing. I wish we could have got our money back.

Extremely pleased!…read more The pre-event coordination was excellent to be sure the night went off without a hitch. Options given were clearly meant to help us have a good time and guide us towards what worked best for us. While we had a much smaller event than they could handle, but the owner (Emik) went out of her way to make sure our guests were taken care of during the event and personally made sure even the food presentation was nice. The venue itself was a surprise - very nice inside! Great dance floor, sound and light system. Better than many similar sized venues I've been to. I liked that there was room between the dance floor area and bar to allow guests to mingle easily. Our event didn't include hot food, but I visited the prep area and it was clearly large enough for a caterer to stage whatever is needed (ie, lots of stainless countertops and sinks). I wouldn't hesitate to use them for our next event!
