Their buffet was of fast food fare. There were grilled cheese quesadillas, simple beef burgers and fries. Seriously!!! OMG!!! If I wanted fast food fare like this, I would go to el Pollo Loco or Carls Jr. for better fast food and still pay much less. All I did at the event mostly was sit around and play with my phone. I did talk with a few other people who attended this event who told me the previous work shop event held by Poshmark was not that great either and the food was mediocre. Sure, Poshmark could have done better. There could have been interactive activities like a scavenger hunt event to win prizes and other contests, there could have been guest speakers, and free goody bags for participants. Gee, I am not even an event coordinator and know how this event could have been better! But I found the buffet to be the most disappointing. Sure, Poshmark perhaps chose the menu but it also reflects on the restaurant/event venue. After all, this is supposedly an ultra high end restaurant/event venue with the ambience to match. But the food was not worth the $70 ticket. And, sitting around with not much more to do but over indulge on fast food, talk with others in a noisy venue, and sit around fiddling with my phone was not fun for me. It was the first time my sweetie and I ever went to this restaurant/event venue and it was a let down. We may have got an inaccurate first impression of this place. I would think the general menu for this place must be better then the food that was catered at this event. I would think other events held here would have better buffets with a carving station, a salad bar, a snack bar and more (but for much less than $70 to attend). But surely other events that charge attendance here would have been better than the one we attended here. We did not find coming to this restaurant/event venue memorable. We will not be coming back to this restaurant /event venue nor ever come to another $70 Poshmark event like the one held here. It was disappointing. I wish we could have got our money back.

Angela is the event coordinator was thorough, sincere me, organized, punctual, and very accommodating. I felt at ease and comfortable the moment I met her. When I saw the space, it looked like a general banquet room, nothing spectacular however, I was proven wrong when the decorations, chairs, and lighting transformed this room into a beautiful place for my 2 friends to get married. My friends decided to have the ceremony there as well as the reception. Scottish Rite Center pretty much supplied us w/ everything for the guests' dining experience: plates, utensils, holding trays, glasses, champagne glasses, pitchers, ice - basically everything you might need to serve over 200 guests, this place has it. My friend had a vision of where things should go and etc. but thanks to Angela's advices, suggestions.. my friend used her expertise to finalize the big day. My friend did not need to hire servers or dishwashers... Angela coordinated everything w/ her staff so that everything from refilling the water to serving the eclairs were prompt, never leaving the guests asking for additional requests. We used the kitchen to prep and to hold the food and beverages. Security staff were all friendly and very strict even though my friend's sister's husband followed me to the car to retrieve their belongings. He was just carrying a cup of ice water and they wouldn't even allow him to take it w/ him. But my overall interaction w/ the security guys were positive. Slowly towards the end time, Angela and her staff worked tirelessly to store the leftovers and to clean here and there w/o giving any impression that we were rushed. I majored in hospitality so what I witnessed was a positive experience. Not only Angela was there on the day of, she was basically the server, busser, janitorial; everything. There were no hiccups at all. I can't say no hiccups w/in our bridal party. Our ring bearer dropped the rings so my partner to walk down the aisle left me to scramble to find the rings. Success! The rings were found! He hurried back and we made our grand entrance. After we parted, I waited w/ the other bridesmaids and started crying when Christina, my best friend walked in. The music changed... it is happening. The memories of taking her to Fuddruckers after her now ex cheated on her came back to me. The memories of her helping me w/ Gavin came to mind. Seriously. This girl changed her work schedule just so I can finish my semester. Not just her but the groom were always there for me w/o physically being there for me, even when I was MIA. They listened to me and they advised me as well. All their assumptions w/ my love life was right.... they need to meet and approved the next guy, haha. All jokes aside... 2 great individuals marrying each other was awesome to witness. I'm honored to be a part of it. It was only yesterday that Christina and I were making peanut butter burgers... her complaining that Enrique will never propose. He sure did. He invited family and friends over - no one knew but he proposed to her in the most romantic way ever. I'm super happy for them. Thank you, Angela! I had a blast doing the cat walk w/ my partner and met some great ass people whom are now my friends. What's next? A BBQ at Enrique planned by Marley and/or deep fried Twinkies w/ the gang. Cannot forget sandwiches dates w/ my best friend.. :)

It is a beautiful venue and a convenient location as many of our folks are in the Bay Area. The drive there is also very easy and the venue has a large parking lot for guests. From the moment we booked for a tour to signing contract with The Ranch with Wedgewood, everything ran so smoothly. Communication was easy and efficient with the team here. They responded to all my emails within a day. They also did occasional check in to make sure we were on track of things and see if we needed help with anything. I felt like the team here are passionate with their job as it showed in the care, kindness, responsiveness, and diligence with their time and communication with us. Coming from a couple with full time jobs and other obligations and as someone who hates planning, Wedgewood all-inclusive was absolutely worth it. Planning our wedding was almost stress-free and so easy. And although it is all-inclusive, we were still able to customize our package any ways we wanted. On the day of our wedding, Nicole was our day of coordinator. She was so fun and amazing to work with. I appreciated that she checked in to see how we were doing while making sure that things were moving along as scheduled. Our wedding day operated so well because of her professionalism and enthusiasm. Our Banquet Captain Jasmine was amazing too. After Nicole left from her shift, I got a bit sad and nervous but felt much better when Jasmine took over. She was so sweet and just like Nicole, she managed everything well while making sure if we were doing ok. Our guests had such a great time because our DJ Aaron hyped up the crowd with fun energy. The food was AMAZING too. We opted for buffet that came with 6 appetizers, 8 assorted salads, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, bread and butter, and 3 proteins. Beef carving station was a hit. There was SO MUCH food!!! Shoutout to Tyler and Eduardo who were our chefs that day! Our guests also complimented on how beautiful the venue is with the bay area city view. The team to boot are experts in their craft - very open to communication and know how to roll with mishaps. I loved communicating with them - everything was easy - when it came to my random questions through late night texts, my list of concerns via email - they were thorough and addressed them all. No stone was left unturned for this type A, eldest sister, only daughter bride. I highly recommend having whatever event you want at The Ranch. The views are spectacular, their team is on point, the interior is wonderful and the layout is so easy to sneak away but to also have your large group photo. Though more expensive than other sites - they are WORTH IT.
