Ron took care of my home 2 years ago and got rid of the stubborn black mold that my homeowner grade pressure washer couldn't. I purchased a whole-home power-wash using Groupon and called the company to schedule my appointment a couple months in advance. When the date of the appointment came (April 9, 2013), they did not show up. After calling several times and leaving a message, I was finally able to reach someone (who was very nice), saying that they did not have my phone number. He rescheduled my appointment for April 11, 2013 between 12-4 p.m. It is now April 11 at 5:52 p.m., but nobody has shown up to my house to complete the job. I have not received a call to cancel or reschedule my appointment. I feel that my next option is to file a complaint against this company, unfortunately. read more

I had my home powerwashed recently and I was very pleased with the results and overall service. First, I think I should note that I got a groupon for this service and expected mediocre service, but I was pleasantly surprised. When I called to schedule, I had no problems. They fit me in about 2 weeks. I didn't have to be there. Huge plus, since I work in VA. And they called to reconfirm - really to make sure they had the right date, but appreciated nonetheless. So when I got a chance to inspect it - I circled around the house and even brought out my camera to zoom in at the top to see - it was definitely a huge improvement from what my house looked like before. And it was bad before! I gave them 4 out of 5 only because I'm very meticulous. I saw just a few (very minor) still a bit dirty areas. Which might be because of the age of the home and ingrained into the siding. But, considering my home is about 3000 sq. ft, I can discount that fact and you literally have to be up on it to see it. (Told you - meticulous). That and a few items looked like they were moved but not put back in place. Probably for better access to the house, but the beauty is in the details. Other than that, I am definitely going to use them again! read more

I purchased a $99.00 coupon for Mr. Powerwash for outside vinyl cleaning. When I called to schedule the appointment I was told that my house was over 1500sf and it would be an additional $99.00. I told the gentleman that I had a brick front that did not need to be cleaned and that if he could just do the back of the house for the coupon that would be great. The back of my home is way less than 1500 sf. It is 2 stories and at the most 40' long. He advised me that just to do the back of the house it would cost me an additional 50.00. He refused to do the job for 99.00 and advised me to get a refund for the coupon. The company uses the inside sf to determine the price. I do not recommend this company. read more

i bought a Groupon for their services and was looking forward to having Mr powerwash my deck as i had heard good things about the company. I guess something good might happen if you could actuallly get in touch with them!!! I called several times, leaving messages and no one was available and finally got a response from howard, but i was at work and not able to answer the call, i returned their call with no response and then tried their website with no luck. It seems that if you reach them, you should play the lottery that day and be as lucky!! I'm now requesting Groupon refund me the money charged to my credit card. i purchased the Living Social deal for Powerwashing 1500sf. Made the appointment on April 9, 2013 for servicing on April 23, 2013. My apointment time was between 12pm & 4pm. I called early in the day to get an estimated time of arrival. I was told that I was the last appointment of the day so it would most likely be closer to 4pm before the crew would arrive. At 4:45pm I called to get a status.. spoke with a lady who put me on hold then a guy picked up. Gave him my name, address, & he confirmed my phone number and said he will call me back in 5 minutes after he spoke with someone from the crew. At 6pm I still had not received a return phone call or a call from anyone else to provide a status. I called one last time only to get the voice mail... of course, Im sure at that point everyone was gone home for the day. I DONT KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY MADE ANGIE'S LIST. THEY PROVIDED VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS POOR AS WELL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. read more

My next door neighbor had his house power washed by Mr. Powerwash early first week in July 2018. They left a sign on his front lawn to call for an appointment for $199.00 special. I left two messages on the recording never got a return call. My neighbor gave me another number for Ron Bowen and his voice mail was full for over a week, couldn't leave a message. On 7/13/18 I got a hold of Mr. Bowen and he apologized that he was on vacation and his employees that did my neighbors house no longer work for him but he had his nephew starting on Monday. I explained that I myself and another neighbor wanted our houses power washed. We agreeded that I would email him the information, names, addresses, and phone numbers (which I did on 7/13/18) and he would call and set it up. No call, I left another message on his phone on 7/30/18 and still no call. In the meantime another neighbor asked me to add his house to the list, that would be three houses in a row. The only reason I gave this company one star is because you can't give zero stars. He also promised a $20.00 discount for my troubles. Don't believe a word this man says and stay away from this worthless company. With their business practices they deserve to go out of business. read more

However, they charged my balance through to my credit card without my authorization and I am still trying to get that money back. It has been impossible to get return phone calls or reply to my emails. I am very disappointed and will NOT use them again. read more

TERRIBLE! 2 weeks ago I made an appointment to have my deck powerwashed and sealed. I was quoted a price of $299 by Ron Bowen for both (to be paid via check directly to him, which I found kind of odd). My appointment was for 10 AM, today for the powerwashing. At 10:30 he still hadn't arrived, so I called and left a message. He called back and said "Yeah, I meant to call you a week ago, but your job isn't profitible enough for me to do." That is terrible business practice and I would advise everyone to think twice before using this company. They obviously do not want to be bothered with "smaller" jobs, even if they've already confirmed the price and appointment. I made an appointment to have my house pressure washed on April 13, 2012 at 9:00am. At 11:00am, they still had not shown up. I tried to call them, but could only get their voice mail. Finally, when they called me back, they stated they were not sure they could make it to my house today, so they would be at my house on April 14, 2012 at 9:00am. On the 14th, they did not show up either. I tried calling again, but could not reach anyone at the company. I left several voice mails but did not receive a call back. Finally, they arrived at 1:00pm. No phone call, no explanation, no apology. They washed my house, but did not clean the windows like they were supposed to. I am very disappointed in the customer service of this company. The price was right, but I rather have paid more for better service. read more

I purchased a Groupon for $249 to have my deck power washed and treated. I called them to schedule an appointment, but I reached Voicemail so I left a message with my contact info. I did not hear back from them after a couple of days so I called again, and again I reached Voicemail. I left my contact info for a second time. I decided to try emailing them. After a couple of days they called back. We scheduled a time for the power washing. I cleared my deck and worked from home on the scheduled date. The company never showed up! They didn't even call to indicate that they weren't going to be there. I have called them back twice since then and left messages but I haven't heard from them. I contacted Groupon and they indicated that someone from Mr. Powerwash would be calling me within the next 3 days. It has been over a week. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE! read more

I have experienced the same issue whereby after emails and calls I have not gotten any response back form the company. I made an appointment two weeks ago and was scheduled to have work done on Monday, April 22, 2013 in the afternoon. I received a call at 3:45 pm informing me that they could not do the job that day because they were behind with other jobs. I gave them an alternative date (Thursday or Friday) and received no response back. Followed up with another call on Wednesday (no response yet). This shows a lack of customer service where either they simply don't care or they are lacking in business foresight. read more

I purchased a voucher from GROUPON in February for my home to be powerwashed. I've tried contacting the company several times in April to schedule an appointment. I've only been able to leave a detailed voice mail. I have not received a call back as of yet, 4/26. I'm hopeful that this is not how the company operates as far as customer service. I purchased a Livingsocial deal with this company for a powerwash of my house. I called to schedule in April and was told the soonest date they had available was July 3, 2013. The crew was to arrive between 9-12. I then received a call the day before that they were "short staffed" and that they would be unable to come on that day and they rescheduled for July 5th. It is now July 5th and I called this afternoon to confirm when a crew would be out to my house. I was told that I never confirmed this date with them and they continue to be "short staffed" and would not be coming. No phone call, no communication whatsoever. I was told that they could reschedule AGAIN for next week. When I expressed how inconvenient this was for me to have to reschedule for the third time they then told me that the "didn't want my business anyway" and that I could contact Livingsocial for a refund. This company is extremely unprofessional in many ways and I don't see how it's my fault that I scheduled my appointment over two months ago and they still can't arrive as scheduled. It's amazing they can get anything accomplished. Maybe they shouldn't be offering discounts on these websites if they can't keep up with the demand. And maybe they should learn how to speak to customers. I have filed a complaint with BBB and Livingsocial to get a refund, but considering there are multiple other complaints on the BBB website regarding this exact issue, I doubt they will change.
