These guys are great to deal with. Called late morning and had water by late afternoon. Really nice people. Would definitely call again.

Don't trust them - don't ever trust them - I had them do two jobs for me and on both jobs they…read morebasically sabotaged each job or were grossly negligent - on the fist job, a bathroom remodel, the toilet was a fancy, expensive toilet w/ an electrically heated seat, etc. - the installation of the toilet had to be co-ordinate between the plumber and the electrician - when it came time to do the finish work (hook up the sink faucets, toilet, etc.) instead of coordinating the installation of the toilet with the General Contractor or the electrician C E Campbell sent man over to do the finish plumbing without any notice "because he had a man free that day" - that "man" had been on the job for the plumbing work since day one and knew full well that the toilet had to have electrical power to it - instead of letting his boss know or the Contractor know or the electrician know that the electrical power had to be hooked up and that he could not complete his installation he just sealed the back of the toilet up tight without the electrical power and did not say a word that he had been on the job and that the electrical power was not installed - it was days later on avisit to the job that I noticed that the electrical power was not connect to the toilet - I called C E Campbell and told him what had happened and coordinated a date for the electrician to be on the job to meet the plumber - a plumber was needed because the water supply to the toilet had to be disconnected by the plumber for the electrician to do his work - C E Campbell himself showed up to do the work and when completed he demanded to be paid for his time that day instead of accepting responsibility for what his plumber had done - I paid him something - In the meantime between the rough and finish on the first bathroom job with C E Campbell I had contracted with him to do a second bathroom remodel - on that job I had disagreement with Campbell's plumber on how to run a recirculating hot water line - I had asked C E Campbell and his plumber on the job to run the recirculating line past each point of distribution and then back to the water heater - after they had roughed the job in I saw that the recirculating line had not been installed as I had requested - I saw that they had run branch hot water lines off a central hot water recirculating line - not point to point - when I said that this was not how I had asked for the recirculating line to be installed I received a rather nasty argument back from the C E Campbell's plumber on the job saying that I did not know what I was talking about and that I should just let the lines be (pipes) as they are - I said no, run the line the way I asked - so two men from C E Campbell came back the next day and re-ran the lines - wonderful except that a few weeks later the two sink faucets in the bathroom stopped working - the water flow slowed down until there was no water - on taking apart the screen/filter at end of the faucet I found that it was full of sand - I cleaned out the sand and the water once again flowed freely - within a month again the water flow again slowed significantly - again I found sand in the screen - I saved the sand and took pictures of the blocked up filter - a couple more times and I then called another plumber who I used and asked him to look at what was happening - he took one look and said there is dirt in the supply pipe - lots of dirt - he said that either C E Campbell had inadvertently used a pipe that had dirt in it or the plumber on the job had deliberately put dirt in the pipe - he said that it is almost impossible to cut cooper pipe to size and then sodder it together without noticing if there is dirt in the pipe - he then said that if it is just a little bit of dirt in the pipe the water should have just about washed it all out by 4 months - if it continues you can almost be assured that someone filled the pipe with a significant amount of dirt - he said my choice was to either keep cleaning the filter until no more dirt/sand showed up or tear apart the drywall in the ceilings and walls and take apart the piping until the dirt was found - I elected to keep cleaning the dirt out of the filter and after a year the dirt/sand finally stopped showing up - Don't use C E Campbell

I was a bit surprised by the review from Mike R as this has never been our experience. In fact, just this year CE Campbell and his team helped us to finish our basement. The work the team did was impeccable and of the highest quality. We interviewed multiple contractors for the work and Cecil really took the time to help us plan out exactly how we wanted the basement to function and even made suggestions that improved the overall appearance of the basement, taking extra time that other contractors simply did not take. We receive multiple positive comments from guests who are genuinely impressed with the basement. We will continue to use CE Campbell in the future and have found them to be of the highest integrity in all that they do. Samantha Watts
