Great customer service, I needed a part for my ATV and they had it in stock and were very pleasant to deal with.

I REALLY wanted to give this place a 5 star review, they were able to pencil me in for a quick…read moreinstall for new rubber on my GSXR 750 rims. They were very nice over the phone and in person. However, after receiving the tire back there was unfortunately damage to my rear rim. I took photos of my rim before taking them to the shop, transported for extra caution on a moving blanket both to and from the shop (not that it needs it, the rubber of the tire when laid down is wide enough the rim doesn't touch as well as the sprocket being in the way). After I got home I noticed the damage to the tire and called in, they requested I bring in the tire so they could see what they could do. After I brought in the tire and rim back they decided to condescendingly mansplain to me how tires get installed, rather then take any responsibility for the damage they caused. Even with photo proof of the rim being in perfect condition before dropping off. Not only are there chips in the metal of the rim, but the rim decal stickers are damaged as well. I personally work in the motorcycle industry and the way these folks treated a fellow rider was frankly shameless. I will never ask this shop to work on any of my other motorcycles, and I suggest you steer clear as well. Please see attached photos showing damage, picture with the bike stand in view is the night before I dropped the rims off at the shop.

TERRIBLE experience here. This will be a long review but it will definitely paint a picture of a…read morereally big hassle that could have been avoided if I were dealing with professionals!!! Bob and Jim picked up a Harley from my mom that only had 800 miles on it but had been stored in a shed for 8 years. The plan was for them to change all fluids, battery, tires and essentially get the bike ready for a ride from NM to CA. They picked up the bike almost 3 weeks before I was flying there and Bob promised to have the bike done 2 days before I arrived just to ensure Jim kept on schedule. This way I had a few days for some short rides to get used to the bike. Well that didn't happen. When I got to El Paso I hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call to find out that they hadn't even touched the bike yet and even worse hadn't obtained a battery yet. Apparently they didn't even know when a battery would show up and asked if I could pick one up in El Paso and deliver it to them which I did just to find out that O'Reilly Auto Parts a mile from their shop had one. The next day I received a call from Jim stating that the fuel pump was out, there was one at Barnett Las Cruces but he didn't have a way to get it so if I wanted my bike done before I left I would have to go pick it up. I didn't really have much choice since the plan was to ride it home 2 days later so I made the journey from Ruidoso to Las Cruces (4 hour round trip) then delivered it to Jim. 15 minutes later Jim called me and told me to turn around and come back. He showed me that the entire inside of the gas tank was destroyed from old gas and that the whole fuel pump assembly was corroded so the $260 part I picked up wasn't even going to work. A couple hours later Jim called me to tell me he couldn't find a used tank and that HD was going to charge me $1,400 for a new painted tank which I later found out from Harley San Jose was a complete lie that a new tank with fuel pump would be in the hundreds NOT $1,400. In that same phone call with Jim he told me I was already into $700 worth of repairs and he would graciously take the bike off my hands for $1,000 (remember at the beginning I told you the bike only had 800 miles so that engine alone is probably worth $3K). Basically the ride was off so I rented a truck and the only one available was back in El Paso on a Sunday at 11am which eventually cost me over $700 for the one way trip to San Jose. I made the trip to ELP and Bob was nice enough to meet me on Sunday to load the bike in the truck then he charged me $760 for services that all could have been avoided had they just checked the fuel tank first like any reputable motorcycle mechanic would have done. When we loaded the bike up I asked Bob where the saddle bags were? He told me it didn't have any which I thought was curious because I remembered my mom putting bags on it. While I was on the road I gave my mom a call who was actually in a U-Haul moving to NY. She told me there absolutely were saddle bags on the bike because not only is she and her husband handicapped but also didn't know how to take the seats off which is required to remove them. When I called back Bob refused to speak with me, Jim was upset said he didn't take them called me an Asshole then hung up on me. So in the end Bob & Jim of Liberty Cycles are not only cheats and liars but they are also thieves. Avoid this so called motorcycle shop at all costs and take your bike to El Paso or Las Cruces to avoid a bunch of headaches.

I had called their service department in advance to see if I needed to schedule an appointment but they told me that would not be necessary. My motorcycle only had 2400 miles on it and was in perfect condition so when I left it with them for repair, I asked that they please take good care of it; they assured me that they would. As you will discover if you read my entire post this was the first of three promises that they made to me which they failed to fulfill.       A few days after I had dropped it off there, I received a call from them. They wanted to let me know that when they went out to their lot to bring my bike inside for repair, they could not find it. They said that they then called the police to report it missing and upon providing the police with the vehicle identification number (VIN) the police department had already logged a suspicious activity report with the same VIN. The motorcycle was retrieved and returned to the dealership. The bike was severely damaged. The dealer denied any negligence and refused to file a claim with their insurance company.       I asked if the service department could remove the accessories from my old bike as I planned to install them on my replacement machine. They agreed and stated that I could come back and pick them up that afternoon. When I returned that afternoon, they had not done it yet (strike two). This was on a Saturday and they told me that they would have them ready for me to pick up on Tuesday afternoon. When I arrived on Tuesday afternoon the parts still were not ready as promised (strike three).       In the end I am absorbing a loss of several thousand dollars to replace my machine. I recommend that if you choose to do business with these people that you do so with extreme caution because, at least in my case, they do not do what they say that they will do. If I could give them zero stars I would but suffice it to say that I will never go back.
