Alpha Motorsports is one of the newer Moto / Powersports shops in El Paso. Located on the Eastside,…read morealmost directly off Lee Trevino. The hours and contact info, as well as address, is listed on the businesses page. Great shop! Great service! Great staff! I've been a long time El Paso resident and even longer time motorcycle rider. Like most, I don't have a full time garage nor a full time schedule to do a lot of the lengthy, tedious, or more technical projects on any of my motorcycles - so, I turn to the professionals. I've never been to / used Alpha Motorsports, however, I've been seeing them lately via Social Media and via word of mouth from some very trusted fellow riders that have used their services. So, I figured I'd give them a try. This task was one that could have been done at my house, but it would've taken me a very long time. So being a nearly all cosmetic job, I thought, this is a great chance to check out this shop and field the job to them. From the minute I walked in, they were very attentive, professional, polite, and even excited to do the job. I had a full set of Carbon Fiber fairings I needed installed. I brought the items to the shop. They helped me unpack them, and conduct not only an inventory of what I was giving them to install, but even inspected each item with me there to ensure they were in proper working order. That in itself is great, because it saved the hassle of having to call half way through a job and inform me they can't do it. Furthermore, as some aftermarket products do require, 3 or more of the items had to be slightly modified in order to ensure proper fit. I mention this specifically, because with my permission of course, they modified the items perfectly. Now then, had I done this at home, I would have been stuck, as I don't have the tools nor means to modify the items in the way they did. So just by taking my bike here, I saved myself a few on of curse words and throwing stuff at the wall at midnight in my garage. Their prices and services are very clearly listed in the main lobby. However, I'm not saying they don't follow them, but I will say that they will charge you a very "fair" price for the job. For example, in general there is a $95 per hour charge. That's pretty standard around here too for comparison sake. My bike was there for exactly 6 days. 1 of those 6 was a Sunday though, which they do not work (so it was there for 5 business days). The total price for the job, was about $650. Now then, at $95 an hour, that would indicate they performed 7 hours of work on my bike. I'm going to tell you, I'm positive they spent MORE than 7 hours working on it and making sure it was PERFECT! So was I charged $95 an hour? Ehhh, seems they charged me less. But, for business sake, the prices and hours are very clearly listed. Also, they do offer a 10% Military Discount. I gladly used it. They have a DynoJet ad well, which they can and will use to Tune your bike. Prices for tuning are listed as well. And having a properly tuned bike is essential to making sure it's operating at peak performance. I'm totally thrilled with the outcome and results from my first experience with them. In fact, I've already ordered a full set of BrakeTech front rotors, and floating rear rotors that are APRC compatible. Once those items arrive, I am 100% going to Alpha Motorsports to have them professionally installed. I have been a Yelp Gold Elite for 7 consecutive years now - so I'm not saying im a big deal, but I know Yelp, and I know motorcycles... with that being said, I absolutely recommend Alpha Motorsports.

We took three trips there and spent at least an hour each time before finally choosing one. I felt taken care of and like they wanted my business. I took my wife and 4 kids up there with me for the final process. As you can imagine, it can be stressful having kids around so many bikes. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my kids while we did the paperwork. That's not part of their job, but they did it anyways. I personally feel like the price is fair even when you consider the brands that they sell. Meaning, they are already less expensive than household brands like Harley, Yamaha, and Suzuki, but they even take the selling price lower than the MSRP. So it feels like you're paying nothing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say all their vehicles are top of the line and better than other brands. I'm saying that what they sell is priced fairly for that brand... which happens to be a lot cheaper than other brands. If you want the products they sell, you won't be disappointed. It's definitely worth a look before you pay as much as a car for a bike.

All work on this bike had been performed by Viva Power Sports. Today, I went to have Clearwater Valkerie running lights professionally installed. Everything was wired in place and ready to finally be hooked up to the battery when it was discovered that the original battery was still there and working after 3.5 years, and that whoever installed the recharging pigtail with the SAE connector shoved the battery into its position backwards, pulling the hell out of the positive lead as well as not installing the positive connector jumper wired for jump starting correctly. This bent the eyelet connector at a severe angle, and when the battery was installed again correctly, the electrical eyelet that attaches the hot wire to the battery snapped off, the victim of intense metallic strain from flexing. Evidently, the only one who has every touched the battery installation was the incompetent idiot at Viva Power sports who removed the battery to install the SAE charging plug connector to the battery incorrectly. Completely incompetent, the folks that work on bikes there in El Paso at Viva Power sports. Can not even install a battery correctly without destroying the wiring loom. Full retards, do not buy anything or bring your bike here for service, gross incompetence. I'd vote ZERO starts if at all possible. No common sense and gross incompetence installing something so easily.

Much of the damage was aftermarket (they did not specify at the time that they would not replace the broken aftermarket parts with aftermarket and instead tried to replace everything with stock parts without my consent), and an oil change/chain clean. it's now November 25th, I have had to reach out repeatedly during the course of this process in a futile attempt to get anything done, and yet, not a single part has been ordered..What's worse? They have claimed up to this point to have done an initial inspection, a supplemental inspection, AND a specific internals inspection, yet today when I call for a progress update, they claim they'll need to do an inspection before getting any parts ordered...SO WHAT HAVE YOU ACTUALLY BEEN DOING??? nothing. Trash people running a trash business.
